Chapter 34: Full Firepower, Cleaning Up the Old Lin Family
“You, what do you want to do?” Lin Wenwu, seeing Lin Luoxie covered in blood approaching him, had a truly terrifying expression on his face, backing away in fright.
“You bastard, if you dare to touch my precious grandson today, just watch me beat you to death.” Old Lin, who had been hiding in the corner with Lin Daguang, could no longer stay hidden when he saw Lin Luoxie approaching his grandson. He came out with a fierce expression and stood his ground.
“Thud!” Old Lin’s words hadn’t even settled in when Lin Luoxie, with lightning speed, dashed in front of Lin Wenwu and kicked him directly towards Old Lin’s wife.
“Ah!” Lin Wenwu was kicked three meters away by Lin Luoxie’s full force, landing right in the arms of Old Lin’s wife. After being kicked, Lin Wenwu felt immense pain all over his body; even the slightest movement made him struggle to breathe.
The commotion caused by Lin Luoxie had already attracted the villagers from Wutong Village to this side.
Ignoring the situation, everyone was caught up in the excitement, blood boiling, watching intently without saying a word.
They all felt that the Old Lin family deserved a good cleanup, and it was better that Lin Luoxie dealt with them rather than having them act arrogantly in the village.
Many were also amazed by Lin Luoxie’s current fighting power; no wonder the old folks say that the greatest strength comes from fools—indeed it seems true.
Just one person could eradicate the entire Old Lin family.
“Do you understand? I’ve wanted to take care of this scum for a long time.” Lin Luoxie saw that the Old Lin family was thoroughly enraged by her actions, her excitement was evident in her eyes.
“Bastard, you will die!” Lin Daguang, witnessing his son being kicked aside by Lin Luoxie, picked up a nearby stool and hurled it at her.
“Hmph, I came here today to seek justice for my third brother.” Lin Luoxie saw the stool flying her way and executed a spinning kick, sending the stool back on its original path.
Lin Daguang didn’t expect Lin Luoxie to be so capable; seeing his stool flying back, malevolence ignited in his eyes.
Not only did he want Lin Dayou to have a living dead son, but he also wanted him to have a living dead daughter.
However, the stool, which should have smashed into Lin Luoxie, was returning to him, and he couldn’t react quickly enough as he could only watch it crash toward him.
“Ah!” The stool hit him with a thud, producing a muffled grunt that matched Lin Daguang’s painful howl.
“Hey, my strength still isn’t enough.” Lin Luoxie observed that Lin Daguang could still squat there, gasping for breath, shaking her head while musing about it.
“This Lin Luoxie, that silly girl, why does it feel like a goddess has possessed her? She’s incredibly powerful, simply amazing.”
“Yeah, yeah, yeah, just watching Lin Da Young fight feels like watching experts duel—so thrilling!”
Upon hearing this, everyone nodded in agreement.
Lin Da Young’s fighting moves were not only cool but also clean and efficient, far better than watching those petty fights where people pull each other’s hair.
“You bastard, how dare you touch my son and grandson! I want you dead here today!” Old Lin, seeing his son and grandson both beaten by Lin Luoxie, rushed behind the door, grabbed the sickle he had placed there, and lunged at Lin Luoxie with force.
“Oh, is this going to get serious?” Lin Luoxie, noticing Old Lin was wielding a weapon, tightened her grip on the kitchen knife and smiled with amusement.
“However, I must warn you, whatever I do next will be in self-defense.” As the sickle flew towards her, Lin Luoxie prepared to unleash a series of kicks.
Lin Luoxie kicked back all the sickles that Old Lin threw at her.
She didn’t want to take a life so quickly, so after kicking the sickle back, she aimed it off slightly, resulting in a shallow cut on Old Lin’s thigh.
“Ah, ah,” soon enough, the dreadful screams of Old Lin echoed in the air.
At the same time, the last man from the Old Lin family lost his will to resist against Lin Luoxie’s overwhelming power and could only hold his wound, crying out in pain.
“Do you still want to play…?” Lin Luoxie asked lightly as she surveyed the faces of everyone in the Old Lin family, noting that all three men had been thoroughly incapacitated.
“N-no, no more playing…” Lin Xiaowu shook her head in terror as she met Lin Luoxie’s gaze, repeatedly waving her hands to indicate she did not want to confront Lin Luoxie.
Meanwhile, Lin Luodan, who once wanted Lin Luoxie’s life, cowered in fear upon witnessing Lin Luoxie’s ruthless side. She was genuinely afraid that if Lin Luoxie were upset, she might just eliminate her, and thus she remained hidden in a dark corner, too scared to make a sound.
“In the future, I suggest you all keep your hands clean. If you dare to come to my house to steal anything again, I promise I won’t let you off so easily…”
At that moment, Lin Luoxie, drenched in blood and standing in the Old Lin family’s main hall, looked like a vengeful spirit risen from hell, there to settle accounts with Old Lin’s family.
Not only were the members of the Old Lin family intimidated by Lin Luoxie’s show of strength, but even the onlookers outside were also struck by the demonic aura she radiated.
When they saw Old Lin swinging the sickle at Lin Luoxie, the villagers quickly rushed to fetch the village chief, fearing for her safety.
The village chief, upon arriving at Old Lin’s yard with the villagers, heard Lin Luoxie’s words and saw the pitiful state of the Old Lin family.
Watching Lin Luoxie’s small and upright figure, a look of comfort crossed his face. Taking advantage of the darkness, he quietly slipped away, not wanting to disturb anyone.
Given the nature of the people from the Old Lin family, if he got involved, he would have a sleepless night for sure.
As the old saying goes, it’s tough for a righteous official to mediate family matters. As the village chief, it was better not to interfere in other people’s domestic affairs.
Such family matters should be resolved by those involved themselves.
“If you stare at me with that malicious look, I won’t hesitate to help you dig those eyes out and feed them to the dogs.”
Looking at her handiwork, Lin Luoxie was in high spirits. Seeing Old Lin’s wicked gaze, a victorious smile crept onto her face as she continued to provoke him, eager to see how much backbone he had.
She feigned a thrust with her kitchen knife toward Old Lin, and once she saw his emotions steady, she headed toward the exit.
As she passed by Lin Wenwu, she deliberately stepped on his face with contempt.
This act made Lin Wenwu, who fancied himself a big shot, feel deeply humiliated. Yet, having witnessed Lin Luoxie’s formidable abilities, he could only grit his teeth and endure, not daring to utter a sound.
Just as she was about to leave the main hall of the Old Lin family, she glanced back at Lin Luodan’s hiding spot and silently signaled a few times.
Seeing Lin Luodan’s face turn pale as she understood her gestures, Lin Luoxie’s mood brightened. Smiling, she turned and walked out of the Old Lin family’s main hall.
