Seeing the kitchen devoid of smoke, Doctor Yang and his grandson visibly expressed their disappointment.

“Oh, that was dug up by my daughter. She said someone taught her how to identify herbs in her dream.”

“When we found it yesterday, we all thought this child was just playing around and wanted to throw the wild vegetables away. But she insisted on keeping them, so we let her be,” Lin Wangshi explained, recognizing Lin Luoxie’s intent when Doctor Yang inquired.

Hearing Lin Wangshi’s words made Doctor Yang uncertain, but he was also curious to see if her claim had any truth to it.

“You’re the foolish one! My sister is not foolish; she’s all better now,” Lin Wenqian immediately stepped up to defend Lin Luoxie, refusing to let anyone insult his sister, no matter who they were.

Especially not in front of them.

Yang Dayou and Lin Wangshi also felt uncomfortable hearing Yang Xiaofeng’s words, but they couldn’t show it; after all, Doctor Yang had been kind to their family.

“Say one more word, and you won’t be allowed to come with me in the future!” Doctor Yang scolded sharply at his grandson for being so rude.
