Wu Xianhua glanced at Wang Xueqi, her face displeased. She shook her head, “He went to work in the fields!”

Wang Dafu finally put Wu Xianhua down. Wu Xianhua thought it was over, but Wang Dafu suddenly leaned in and kissed her forehead. Wu Xianhua was stunned.

She walked into her room with a red face, saying nothing. Wang Dafu chuckled and sat down.

Before going to bed, someone knocked on the courtyard door. Wang Dafu went to see who it was. It was Yanchun Jie.

“You fool, aren’t you asleep yet?”
