Zhuang Jin’s brows furrowed as a murderous aura surrounded her. She kicked the dwarf man away with one foot, while her other hand swiftly tightened around Aunt Zhang’s throat.
In the astonished eyes of Zhuang Dazhu and Liu Cuihua, Zhuang Jin effortlessly lifted Aunt Zhang off the ground.
Aunt Zhang’s feet hovered half a meter above the ground, kicking and flailing in the air.
Due to the lack of oxygen, Aunt Zhang’s face turned rapidly red, and a raspy sound came from her throat.
“Ajin, you can’t kill her! That’s seven pounds of rough rice!” Seeing this, Zhuang Dazhu couldn’t help but speak up, though his words left Zhuang Jin feeling uncomfortable.
Liu Cuihua might be like this, but Zhuang Dazhu, her biological father, was still only concerned about the seventy pounds of rice when his daughter was being humiliated?
Zhuang Jin smiled darkly. “Guess what? Do you think I dare not kill you?” As she spoke, her grip tightened.
Aunt Zhang felt the air instantly leave her chest, the suffocating sensation setting in.
She struggled with her arms and legs, desperately trying to scream, but no sound came from her throat.
Staring into Zhuang Jin’s cold eyes, Aunt Zhang truly became afraid. This crazy girl really might kill her!!!
Aunt Zhang’s gaze gradually shifted from arrogance to pleading.
In the next second, a foul, acrid odor filled the air.
Aunt Zhang had urinated herself!
“Ah, Ajin, killing someone will get you in trouble. Don’t drag us down with you! Dazhu, you need to control this crazy girl! She really will kill someone!” Liu Cuihua, still in shock, finally snapped back to reality. She collapsed to the ground, crying hysterically.
“Let go of my mother, you lunatic!”
Seeing his mother in distress, the dwarf man clutched his chest and struggled to get up. He charged at Zhuang Jin, shouting, “You little slut, let go of her!”
Zhuang Jin sneered at Aunt Zhang and with a powerful swing of her arm, hurled the two-hundred-pound woman at the dwarf man.
“Ow!” Two pained yelps rang out. The dwarf man had barely gotten up before he was slammed back onto the ground. The mother and son, both heavyset, tumbled together and rolled on the ground several times before finally coming to a stop.
“Cough—” Aunt Zhang groaned in pain, clutching her chest, her face contorted with agony as she shouted. “Cough, cough… Ah, the eldest daughter of the Zhuang family is going to kill someone!”
Zhuang Jin cast a cold glance at her, and at once, Aunt Zhang fell silent, her fear taking hold.
“Get out!” Zhuang Jin’s voice was icy, her killing intent palpable, as if it could pierce through the air. She had no desire to continue wasting time with these people. If only her current body wasn’t so weak. Just a moment ago, with a simple motion, she felt lightheaded, and her stomach began to cramp painfully. This body was far too weak, and she needed to eat soon to regain her strength.
The group, intimidated by her stern glare, instinctively ran towards the door.
As they stepped outside, Aunt Zhang’s face twisted with resentment. How could she have been frightened into urinating by a girl barely in her teens? It was humiliating!
Fuming with anger, Aunt Zhang shot a furious glare in Zhuang Jin’s direction. The more she thought about it, the angrier she became. She had come to claim the daughter-in-law, but had received no benefits, only a beating. The thought alone made her feel deeply wronged.
Used to her wild behavior, Aunt Zhang’s eyes flickered with malice. She then plopped herself down on the doorframe, refusing to leave.
“Everyone, come take a look! The eldest daughter of the Zhuang family just tried to kill someone! Who’s going to judge for me, the old woman?”
“Look at my neck! It was that wretched girl who choked me,” Aunt Zhang sobbed, pulling open her collar for the villagers passing by to see.
“Liu Cuihua, my daughter and I were almost killed at your house! You must compensate us!” Aunt Zhang cried, making gestures toward the people sitting on the ox cart. As soon as they saw her signal, they understood and immediately started urging the ox cart to move.
Liu Cuihua had already been unhappy about Aunt Zhang’s demands for compensation, but now that it seemed like the woman was calling for backup, Liu Cuihua’s face dropped even further. She shot a glare at Zhuang Dazhu and angrily snapped, “It’s all because of your good daughter that this trouble started!”
Aunt Zhang came from the neighboring Zhang Family village, not far from here.
The ox cart quickly returned, this time carrying seven or eight burly men, followed by a group of thirty or more men, all of them looking fierce. Many were holding weapons—hoes, iron shovels, and even several with sickles raised in the air.
Seeing this, Liu Cuihua was so frightened that her legs buckled. She grabbed Zhuang Dazhu and tried to close the door.
But the other side was faster. Before the bolt could be fully secured, two large men had already jumped off the cart and kicked the door open.
“Did you bully my aunt?” One of the large men threw a punch directly at Zhuang Dazhu’s face.
Zhuang Dazhu was knocked back, blood pouring from his nose, curling into a corner while clutching his head. “No, no! It wasn’t me! It was my daughter—my daughter did it!”
“Don’t hit me! You need to find that wretched girl!” Zhuang Dazhu pointed towards the firewood room, betraying his own daughter so readily!
The group of revenge seekers stormed towards the firewood room.
When the door was kicked open, Zhuang Jin was sitting, nibbling on a bun. She casually brushed away the last bit of crumbs from her hands and slowly stood up. “Such a lack of manners.”
“Little slut—” The intruder cursed, but before he could finish his words, Zhuang Jin’s swift punch had already landed in the belly of the lead man, sending him flying to the side with an “Ow!”
Without missing a beat, Zhuang Jin kicked another man in the knee, and a bone-cracking sound echoed through the air.
At the same time, her left hand formed into a blade and struck the neck of a third man. In a matter of seconds, several of the burly men had been knocked down.
“Anyone else looking for death?” Zhuang Jin’s lips curled coldly.
The remaining men, seeing this, were filled with fear and hesitation. They dared not advance any further.
The brief moment of hesitation was fleeting. They didn’t believe that dozens of men couldn’t subdue a single young girl.
They exchanged glances and quickly closed in, surrounding Zhuang Jin in the middle.
As a top national agent, even if lions or tigers appeared before her, she could easily handle them.
But now, knocking down more than ten men had already been a struggle!
Zhuang Jin’s face hardened as she took a deep breath, preparing to charge through them.
Suddenly, a wave of dizziness struck. Zhuang Jin staggered a few steps before barely steadying herself. When she looked up again, her vision had become too blurry to focus.
Zhuang Jin bitterly smiled to herself. This body was starving to the point of dizziness!
At that moment, she completely lost control of her body. In front of the confused onlookers, she collapsed, unmoving.
The group laughed loudly, “We thought she was so tough, but in the end, she’s just a girl. Quick, finish her off, and then take her away.”
They were taking advantage of her weakness to kill her! A group of ruthless cowards!
As Zhuang Jin lay on the ground, her mind cursed them all.
Dozens of men swarmed her, punching and kicking her unconscious body.
Though she couldn’t move, Zhuang Jin was still conscious. She could clearly feel every punch landing on her, and she even noticed someone trying to tear at her clothes in the chaos.
Just then, Zhuang Jin’s younger uncle, Zhuang Xiao Hu, arrived with his wife and children. When they saw the scene of chaos in the yard, Zhuang Xiao Hu felt his heart tremble. His anger mixed with deep sorrow. He roared, “Stop!”
“Zhuang Dazhu, you heartless man, your daughter is being beaten, and you’re doing nothing to stop it!” Zhuang Xiao Hu didn’t hold back his anger at his older brother.
“I… I would’ve been beaten too!” Zhuang Dazhu shrank back, his neck tucked in fear.
Zhuang Xiao Hu was furious, “Useless fool!” He grabbed a broom from the corner of the yard and rushed at the crowd.
At the same time, he yelled for his wife to go to the village and call for help. Unfortunately, it was the busy time when everyone was out working in the fields, so no help would come quickly.
Fighting dozens of men was not easy, and Zhuang Xiao Hu soon took a hit himself.
In the chaos, no one knew who struck him, but a hoe came crashing down on his head, and blood began to pour down from his forehead. He instinctively wiped his hand across his face, and his rugged face became covered in blood.
Zhuang Xiao Hu’s eyes widened with rage, the fire of fury burning within him.
“You bunch of bastards, this is too much!” Zhuang Xiao Hu’s fury erupted. With a surge of strength, he grabbed a hoe from one of the men and swung it to strike him.
At that moment, a lecherous man, holding a hoe, crept up on Zhuang Jin.
Zhuang Jin sensed the danger but could not move. Her heart raced in desperation.
Just then, the jade pendant on her chest suddenly emitted a hot, intense heat, and an old, eerie male voice echoed in her mind, “Help! Ancestor, here I come!”
Immediately, Zhuang Jin completely lost awareness of the outside world as her consciousness was consumed by darkness.
The next second, the onlookers saw Zhuang Jin move. Her body spasmed violently, and her eyes suddenly snapped open. In an instant, she leapt three meters into the air, landing on the roof.
The man who had been holding the hoe to Zhuang Jin’s side gaped in shock, his mouth hanging open as he stared at the figure on the roof. With a loud “clang,” the hoe slipped from his hand, falling directly onto his foot, and he hopped around, howling in pain.
The young girl, with her striking phoenix eyes, looked down from her lofty perch, sneering at the group below. Then, she chuckled eerily, and to everyone’s surprise, the old male voice echoed once more, “Ah! Finally, I can fight! Hehehe…”
With that, a frail figure leapt off the roof, heading straight for the crowd. Zhuang Xiao Hu’s heart nearly stopped as he thought, She’s jumping from so high up—won’t she fall and die?
But before Zhuang Xiao Hu could fully react in shock, an even more jaw-dropping scene unfolded before his eyes.
