Chapter 20: Hugged You, Kissed You
The “Red Romance” bathhouse was tucked away by the lakeside in Ancheng, half-hidden by lush greenery. The moonlight and the lights reflected on the lake, creating a shimmering effect that rippled with the wind. Looking at this scene, Song Chunhui’s mood gradually calmed down. He felt that the world was still beautiful and firmly believed that he would one day enjoy a life with a warm home, a wife, and kids.
Once he saved enough money and retired, he planned to take his wife and two children to travel across the beautiful landscapes of the country, and then make a few trips abroad. That’s how grand his plans were.
“Wife, I’m waiting for you.”
“…” His fantasy was shattered as he glanced at the head sticking out of the car window. He really wanted to slam the window shut on Li Huan’s head and toss the body into the lake for some peace and quiet.
“You’re glaring at me,” Li Huan said, looking innocent.
Song Chunhui was thankful that the climate had just turned to winter, and the large greenery behind the bathhouse was still lush enough to provide some cover. The car was parked next to the branches and leaves, barely hidden, and it was by the lake, so with a little effort…
The night breeze ruffled Song Chunhui’s smooth black hair. When Li Huan got close to him in the car, he could smell the faint scent of soap on him. At this moment, that soapy scent wafted over again. Li Huan looked up and down at Song Chunhui, who had deliberately changed into some old-fashioned casual clothes, his gaze straightforward and unrestrained.
When Song Chunhui looked down at his Rolex and then glanced up, Li Huan finally reined in his gaze, still looking innocent. “You’re glaring at me again.”
Song Chunhui thought, if only looks could kill, he’d chop this brat into pieces.
“Still glaring,” Li Huan said with a playful smile, showing his white teeth. “If you keep glaring, I’ll eat you up.”
Song Chunhui: “…” What childish nonsense.
“Where should I start eating first?” Seeing Song Chunhui’s cold expression, Li Huan got excited. “How about the butt? It’s white and tender, with a nice chew.”
“…”
Going to the employee dormitory would be dangerous. Song Chunhui was now afraid of any place with a bed. He told himself to stay calm, not to get excited. Tonight, he must succeed, no matter how uncomfortable it was. Just pretend the brat was spouting nonsense.
But his mind was affected, suddenly recalling the scene from Sunday morning at the hotel. The details were too clear. His poor butt had been slapped a few times during the bumpy ride. Although it didn’t hurt much, it was full of humiliation. Li Huan’s reason for slapping him was just one word: “flirty.” He, a proper man, was inexplicably labeled as “flirty.”
And those slaps were just the tip of the iceberg of torment. Song Chunhui didn’t want to think about it, but as soon as he did, he immediately recalled his embarrassing state of wetting the bed, followed by being carried to the sofa by the damned gay for another round of endless torment.
He couldn’t hold back his temper, nor could he control his mouth, blurting out, “Eat your grandpa!”
This four-eyed guy was like a firecracker, ready to explode at the slightest spark.
Li Huan stopped teasing and said honestly, “Wife, you can’t blame me. You came out of the bath making the car smell so nice. I thought you wanted to do it with me too.”
Li Huan’s annoying habit of calling him “wife” regardless of the occasion made Song Chunhui frown.
Having lost his temper earlier, he softened his tone, “I took a bath and changed clothes to be fresh and neat. If I dressed too formally, do you think Director Wang would feel at ease? He’s here to have fun. Learn from me; at times like this, especially, don’t talk about work. It kills the mood. Just nod and bow like a grandson.”
Li Huan casually rested his arm on the window sill, looking at Song Chunhui with a meaningful smile. “Got it, thanks, wife.”
Just then, Director Wang’s car arrived.
“Close the window,” Song Chunhui instructed, no longer paying attention to Li Huan.
He hurriedly went to greet Director Wang, plastering a smile on his face, nodding and bowing like a grandson, while fawningly greeting him and leading the way to the VIP passage of the bathhouse.
Li Huan sat in the car, watching the whole process.
Under the night sky, Song Chunhui seemed to shrink by half, his body almost bending like a shrimp, and the ingratiating smile on his face nearly reached his ears.
This four-eyed guy could really bend and stretch for a bit of commission. When would he smile at him like that? No need to act like a grandson, just warm him up a bit.
The suit was restrictive, and Li Huan wasn’t used to wearing it. Even stretching was difficult.
He got out of the car, first taking off his jacket, then unbuttoning the top two buttons of his shirt. The cheap belt around his waist, which cost only a few dozen bucks, was also unbuckled and thrown onto the back seat, finally feeling much more comfortable.
Director Wang didn’t want much company, which saved Song Chunhui a lot of trouble. As soon as he left the bathhouse, he saw the tall figure standing by the car from a distance and couldn’t help but sigh.
Sigh, such a handsome young man, how could he be such a heartless bastard?
Song Chunhui wasn’t stupid. He had always carefully kept the information about his former boss’s embezzlement, including some shady records from the procurement department.
Last month, when he returned to Jiangcheng, he took the information to the hospital to find Ma Jianguo, hoping to seek justice for himself. Even if he didn’t get a promotion, a transfer back to headquarters would be fine.
Even though the information had lost its usefulness, Song Chunhui didn’t discard it casually. He knew Ma Jianguo wasn’t unafraid; he just didn’t care because he had a terminal illness.
Ma Jianguo even warned him, “Xiao Song, threatening me is useless. I advise you to destroy all the information. If Manager Zhou finds out, I can’t protect you. Your hands aren’t clean either. Be careful.”
Some leverage, as long as it can exert even a tiny bit of influence, has its value.
Song Chunhui knew Li Huan wouldn’t easily delete the photos. The one deleted in the office yesterday might have been restored because he cared.
The more he cared, the more the other party was pleased.
The night breeze by the lake carried a hint of moisture, rustling the greenery.
Li Huan felt a bit chilly after standing in the wind for a while and was about to return to the car. As he turned, he saw Song Chunhui walking over with his head held high, looking like he was going to attend a conference in his old-fashioned attire. It was amusing.
With no one around, Li Huan spread his arms wide, teasing Song Chunhui openly, “Wife, give me a hug. I’ve been waiting so long I’m lovesick.”
“…” Song Chunhui immediately took a step back, his face darkening as he retorted, “I think you’re just being cheap.”
“…” Li Huan’s face darkened too, muttering, “You really have no sense of romance.”
What kind of romance could there be with a damned gay?
Getting into the car, Song Chunhui was internally conflicted, as if it were an execution ground. Once he entered, he might be trapped with no way out.
But he had to take a chance.
The biggest sacrifice Song Chunhui could accept was letting Li Huan help him out like yesterday. He wouldn’t lose anything. At worst, he’d close his eyes and imagine the brat as a lady.
Tonight was the only chance. Once he got the phone, he’d run away overnight. To hell with Director Wang and the deal, to hell with Nuolin and Jinhui. He wouldn’t serve them even if it killed him!
Seeing Song Chunhui in a daze, Li Huan snapped his fingers at him, “What are you thinking about?”
“…” Song Chunhui snapped back to reality, looking at Li Huan’s innocent face. After a two-second pause, he spoke, “Get in the car, sit in the back. I want to talk to you.”
The car was in the middle, and Li Huan looked over, raising an eyebrow at Song Chunhui, a slight smile on his lips. “Talk about what? If it’s not about love, I’m not interested.”
“…”
For a moment, Song Chunhui felt old, unable to understand the thoughts of young people these days. What was on their minds all day? Crap?
He wouldn’t believe for a second that Li Huan was interested in him. He’d only been at work for a few days, and he was already thinking about romance? Dream on.
“Whatever it is, get in the car first.” Song Chunhui opened the back door himself.
Li Huan opened the back door, and the dim streetlight spilled into the car. He looked at the relatively spacious back seat and suddenly reached out, measuring the space.
The wind picked up, and Song Chunhui shivered, glancing at the shimmering lake.
He took a deep breath, comforting himself. It’s just being messed with by a damned gay again. No big deal. After tonight, he’d be a good man again.
Life, after all, has its ups and downs, its storms. He’d survived tough times before. How could he be pessimistic because of Luo Dagui’s family and a little brat?
At worst, he’d sell the house in Jiangcheng and give up his household registration. The world is vast, and there must be a place for Song Chunhui. He had to show the heavens his capabilities.
Song Chunhui decisively got into the car, slamming the door shut.
In the darkness, Li Huan couldn’t see Song Chunhui’s expression but could hear his deliberately suppressed breathing, with a hint of hesitation.
He sat quietly, not speaking.
“Xiao Li, you said yesterday that if I let you hug me, you’d delete a photo.” Song Chunhui said, “I’ll let you hug me now, and you delete one.”
“You said it was yesterday, and it’s no longer valid,” Li Huan didn’t agree.
As expected, it wouldn’t work. Song Chunhui continued, “Then I’ll let you do what you did yesterday, and you delete a video.” He added, “I’ll delete it myself, including from the recycle bin.”
Li Huan played dumb, “What do you mean, wife?”
“…” Song Chunhui couldn’t stand Li Huan’s coquettish tone, his voice dropping, “Don’t play dumb. I’ve agreed, so hurry up.”
Hearing Song Chunhui’s eagerness, Li Huan chuckled, “Yesterday, I hugged you, kissed you, and helped you finish. If you don’t make it clear, I really don’t know.”
“…” It was awkward to bring it up, and Song Chunhui felt uncomfortable, gripping his knee with his fingers, forcing himself to say, “Help me finish.”
As soon as he said it, a light laugh sounded in his ear.
“You mean, I help you finish first, and then you delete a video from my phone,” Li Huan turned to ask, “Right, wife?”
“Right.” Song Chunhui replied straightforwardly, preparing to unzip his pants. Worried that Li Huan wouldn’t be satisfied, he gave a heads-up, “It can only be five minutes at most.”
“Only five minutes? Isn’t that a bit quick?” Li Huan held back a laugh, “Oh, it was two minutes yesterday. It is a bit quick.”
“…”
Song Chunhui felt a bit embarrassed, but he knew his problem. During his first time with his first love, he didn’t even last half a minute before it was over.
No matter how hard he tried afterward, the longest he lasted was ten minutes. Afterward, he had the nerve to ask his first love how it felt, only to get the reply, “You should just use your hand.”
These were past pains, and Song Chunhui couldn’t save face, feeling a bit unwilling as he said, “Why do you care how long I last? Stop showing off. I’ve agreed to let you do it, so hurry up.”
This four-eyed guy was really amusing.
Li Huan almost couldn’t hold back his laughter. When Song Chunhui urged him again and complained that his hand was too strong yesterday, telling him to be gentle, he finally laughed out loud.
“Hahaha, damn!”
“…” Song Chunhui had unzipped halfway, but the hearty laughter stimulated him, making him feel like a clown humiliating himself. What was he doing?
He couldn’t take it anymore, moving his hand away, deciding to fight Li Huan to the death.
In the darkness, a pair of hands quickly reached for him. Before he could react, his head was grabbed and forcibly turned towards Li Huan. Then, a heavy kiss, full of irresistible force, landed on his lips.
“Mm—”
Li Huan kissed him hard twice, still laughing. He asked Song Chunhui, “You four-eyed guy, why are you so fun? You’re really interesting!”
“…” Song Chunhui was stunned for a moment, slow to process the “four-eyed” comment. He immediately pushed Li Huan away, “Get lost, you bastard!”
Li Huan’s hand reached behind Song Chunhui, and without a word, he forcefully pulled Song Chunhui onto his lap. When Song Chunhui resisted, he tightened his arms, holding him firmly.
“Let go!” Song Chunhui couldn’t stand the intimate closeness, struggling and cursing, “You damned gay, disgusting! Full of viruses!”
Li Huan held him tight, “If you keep struggling, I’ll infect you with all of them.”
Could this damned gay really have a disease? Song Chunhui struggled violently, about to curse, but his mouth was sealed shut. The tongue invading his mouth was more aggressive than a bandit. He first let out a series of “mm mm mm,” then “mm… mm… mm…” and finally, numbed by the kiss, he quickly comforted himself.
It’s just being kissed by a damned gay again. No big deal, no big deal. After tonight, he’d be a good man again. Since it had come to this, he might as well go with the flow.
“Dare to get distracted?”
“Mm—”
Ten minutes later, Song Chunhui was panting, reluctantly unzipping his pants, warning Li Huan, “I’ll give you five minutes.”
“Getting the benefits and still complaining,” Li Huan laughed, reaching in.
Song Chunhui didn’t forget his plan, quickly holding Li Huan’s hand, “Give me the phone. You do your thing, I’ll delete mine. Just one.”
Li Huan was pleased with Song Chunhui’s compliance, generously handing over the phone, opening the album with the videos, and generously saying, “You’ve been good tonight. I’ll let you delete two.”
The videos were too indecent. Just the small display images made Song Chunhui furious. He pretended to prepare to delete them, while his other hand controlled the car window, saying, “It’s a bit stuffy. I’ll open a crack for some air.”
Li Huan didn’t think much of it, patiently serving him.
“Uh, don’t use so much force.”
Song Chunhui didn’t care about himself. In a flash, he quickly lowered the car window halfway, gripping Li Huan’s phone tightly. With all his strength, he threw it out the window. The phone flew out like a bullet.
According to his expectations, this force should have thrown it into the river.
There was a crisp “snap” as the phone hit the railing precisely and then fell to the ground.
Song Chunhui: “…”
Li Huan glanced at the possibly deceased phone outside the window, belatedly saying, “Wife, you wanted to give my phone some air too, right?”
Song Chunhui: “…”
Li Huan: “No wonder you’ve been so good tonight. No good deed goes unpunished, huh?”
Song Chunhui: “…”
Li Huan tightened his grip, laughing, “It’s okay if it’s broken. I’ve backed it all up.”
Song Chunhui, feeling utterly defeated: “…”
