The Supporting Character is Too Beautiful and Alluring, the Villain Boss Holds Her by the Waist and Spoils Her Chapter 167

Chapter 167: The Man Named Fu

The thatched kitchen was indeed too broken and rundown, so borrowing someone else’s kitchen seemed reasonable.

Besides, this was all being live-streamed, so it was important to maintain some camaraderie with the other participants and not appear too harsh or petty.

Bai Ruoruo had even prepared a backup plan in case Jiang Mi dared to refuse her.

However, the one who rejected her wasn’t Jiang Mi, but a deep, cold male voice: “It’s not convenient.”

Bai Ruoruo was momentarily stunned. “Brother Gu, what did you say?”

Gu Chuan’s expression grew colder. “We’re not close. Not lending the kitchen. Not helping.”

Three consecutive refusals.

Bai Ruoruo felt both embarrassed and angry, wondering why Gu Chuan couldn’t be a little kinder to her.

At that moment, she noticed Jiang Mi standing nearby out of the corner of her eye. She was convinced Jiang Mi must’ve said something bad about her behind her back!

Bai Ruoruo bit her lip, about to speak, when Mr. Fu’s voice interrupted, “It’s just borrowing a kitchen. Does Mr. Gu really need to be so stingy?”

Bai Ruoruo’s heart leaped—Mr. Fu was standing up for her!

Jiang Mi, however, frowned slightly. She didn’t like hearing people speak ill of Gu Chuan.

Gu Chuan lifted his gaze and glanced at Mr. Fu, his eyes cold and filled with ruthless, bloodthirsty intent. Like a lion ruling over the wilderness, sensing a wild beast secretly eyeing his prey, he bared his fangs, ready to tear it apart.

His thin lips parted, about to speak, but Jiang Mi interrupted with a cold laugh.

“Yes, Gu and I are both stingy. We don’t welcome the two of you to use our kitchen.”

“To put it bluntly, we won the kitchen. Why should we tolerate people we dislike coming here and showing off just to avoid being called stingy? Don’t you agree, Mr. Fu?”

Mr. Fu quietly observed Jiang Mi. It was the first time Jiang Mi had truly looked him in the eye, but her gaze wasn’t even neutral—just cold and filled with disdain.

After a moment, he lowered his gaze and smiled slightly. “You’re right.”

“If you agree, then leave.” Jiang Mi’s voice turned even colder. “Mr. Fu, don’t covet what isn’t yours, or I won’t let you off easily.”

Coveting her man? He must have a death wish, Jiang Mi thought coldly.

But her words left both men confused.

From Gu Chuan’s perspective, it made sense that Jiang Mi was stepping up to block potential rivals and making it clear no one should covet her, but something still felt off.

From Mr. Fu’s perspective, the girl he liked had just sternly rejected him. Despite the pain, he couldn’t shake the odd feeling—was Jiang Mi really such a harsh person?

The only one who seemed fully aware of the situation was Bai Ruoruo. She was both shocked and furious. Could it be that Mr. Fu really had feelings for Jiang Mi?

No. Impossible. Mr. Fu was her last chance. She couldn’t afford to lose him—she had to hold onto him tightly. Only then could she turn her fortunes around.

“Mr. Fu, since Gu and Jiang Mi don’t welcome us, let’s leave.”

In the end, Bai Ruoruo didn’t forget to add a touch of feigned innocence and pitifulness to her retreat.

However, with a loud click of the door shutting, Jiang Mi shrugged it off, dismissing the pair from her mind as she pushed Gu Chuan towards the kitchen.

Out of the blue, Gu Chuan said, “You call him Mr. Fu?”

“Everyone calls him Mr. Fu,” Jiang Mi replied, not thinking much of it, her mind still on the fish soup in the kitchen. “He never told us his name, so what else should I call him?”

“Just ‘the guy named Fu,’” Gu Chuan suggested.

Jiang Mi’s hands stopped pushing Gu Chuan’s wheelchair, then she playfully collapsed against his back, wrapping her arms around his neck as she laughed, “Haha, alright, I’ll call him ‘the guy named Fu’ from now on.”

Gu Chuan let out a soft grunt, and as she giggled uncontrollably, he leaned forward and lifted her onto his back.

Once her laughter subsided, Jiang Mi suddenly sensed something odd. She pinched Gu Chuan’s cheek and teased, “Mr. Gu, aren’t you paying too much attention to that ‘guy named Fu’?”

In the past, when it came to Shen Mingxuan, Gu Chuan had gotten jealous a few times, but it was always directed at Jiang Mi. He never seemed to care much about Shen Mingxuan himself.

But now, Jiang Mi could clearly feel that Gu Chuan was bothered by Mr. Fu. Otherwise, with Gu Chuan’s temperament, he would never have stooped to calling him something as petty as “the guy named Fu.”

Gu Chuan answered honestly, “He’s a strong opponent, but he won’t beat me.”

When Gu Chuan said “strong,” he wasn’t just referring to power or wealth, but the man’s determination and relentless spirit.

If Mr. Fu had shown up earlier, maybe he would have had a chance to compete for Jiang Mi’s affection… No, Gu Chuan thought, no matter the time, place, or person, Jiang Mi would always be his.

Jiang Mi was silent for a moment, then suddenly covered Gu Chuan’s mouth. “Don’t talk nonsense! If what you just said gets out online, everyone will start calling you a delusional guy.”

Gu Chuan: “???”

[Commentator 1]: “You two are going to make me die from sweetness!”

[Commentator 2]: “Ah, just the usual lovey-dovey stuff between old couples.”

[Commentator 3]: “Finally, Bai Ruoruo and Mr. Fu are out of the picture. Don’t let them pollute Chuan and Mi’s pure space!”

[Commentator 4]: “I also feel like Gu Chuan’s attitude towards Mr. Fu is a bit strange, and Jiang Mi’s remarks were even stranger. I feel like there’s something we don’t know.”

[Commentator 5]: “Coming over from Bai Ruoruo’s stream, just letting you know, it was Mr. Fu who first suggested borrowing the kitchen.”

[Commentator 6]: “Now that we have this added context, the weird feeling intensifies. At first, I thought Mr. Fu liked Bai, so Gu and Jiang hated him; then I thought Mr. Fu liked Jiang, so Gu hated him; and after hearing Jiang’s last words, I feel like Mr. Fu might like Gu, so Jiang hated him!”

[Commentator 7]: “So confusing. To sum it up: everyone hates the guy named Fu. Poor guy, what did he ever do wrong?”

As the live stream audience passionately debated, Jiang Mi and Gu Chuan had already finished their dinner.

In the countryside, nighttime wasn’t as vibrant as in the city. By 8 p.m., it was already pitch black and eerily quiet.

After the cameramen left and the live stream ended, the whole small villa was left with just Jiang Mi and Gu Chuan.

Jiang Mi looked directly at the cold, handsome man in front of her.

“All the cameras in the room have been removed, every last one of them.”

“Tonight, I’m going to sleep holding you.”
