The Villain’s Family Favorite Little Sweetheart Chapter 243: “Do You Know Who My Dad Is?”

They weren’t playing with her—they were tormenting her!

But looking at Yu Yuanyuan, she seemed so calm and relaxed, like a biscuit spread out on the grass, lying there comfortably.

For a moment, the twins felt like they weren’t the ones torturing her; it seemed more like she was treating them like her chauffeurs!

While they panted heavily from exhaustion, Yu Yuanyuan was lying there comfortably on the grass, waiting for them to pull her along—

Dream on!

Angrily, the twins untied the rope from her and grabbed hold of the leash attached to Da Hua, ready to leave.

Yu Yuanyuan, however, reached out and grabbed the leash, her body going limp as she lay on the ground, “Don’t bully Da Hua!”

“Let go!”

“No!”

“I said, let go!”

“No way!”

The little girl and the twins were at a stalemate, and one of the boys, in his frustration, lifted his foot, ready to kick her.

Quick as a flash, Yuanyuan dodged to the right. The kick missed, and the boy fell face-first into the dirt.

“Hahaha, you’re useless! You can’t even handle a little girl,” the other twin laughed, only angering his brother further.

The boy who fell dusted himself off, picked up a palm-sized rock from the ground, and with eyes blazing red, slowly approached.

For the first time, Yu Yuanyuan could sense the change in the air—something was off! She had to run! Now!

But Da Hua was still tethered to the other boy’s hand, so Yuanyuan leapt forward, biting down on the rope with her teeth. After a few quick chews, the already thin rope snapped in half.

Scooping Da Hua into her arms, the little girl bolted.

Usually wobbly on her feet, today Yuanyuan was running as if her life depended on it, darting off at a speed so fast that the boy holding the rope hadn’t even realized what had happened. He stared blankly at the severed leash in his hand before snapping to attention, “She’s taken the cat!!!”

His twin, still holding the rock, sneered and, with a calculated aim, threw the rock straight toward Yu Yuanyuan’s back with all his strength.

The rock cut through the air swiftly, heading straight for her.

Yuanyuan had never felt such fear. She held her breath, running with every ounce of strength she had, but the danger was closing in too quickly!

Just as she was about to burst out of the bushes with Da Hua in her arms, another stone flew through the air, striking the one that had been aimed at her with a sharp “crack,” deflecting it.

The twins froze, sensing a menacing presence around them.

“What are you two brats doing?!” Gao Zhou appeared, stepping into the bushes, immediately spotting the disheveled Yu Yuanyuan clutching Da Hua tightly.

Yuanyuan was holding onto Da Hua, who was trembling and curled up in her arms. Her clothes, which had been clean at dinner, were now caked with mud and grass, especially on her back, where it was obvious she had been dragged across the ground. Her hair was a mess.

“We didn’t do anything,” the twins said casually, shrugging, “Just playing around.”

Gao Zhou didn’t believe them for a second. He knelt down and began cleaning the dirt off Yu Yuanyuan, asking, “Miss Yuanyuan, what did they do? Tell me!”

The earlier tension had pushed Yuanyuan to her limit, and now, seeing Gao Zhou, her pent-up emotions suddenly burst forth, and she started sobbing loudly.

“Uncle Gao, they bullied Da Hua, wuu wuu wuu,” she cried, clutching Da Hua tightly as she wailed, “They tied me and Da Hua up… and dragged us around the grass! Hic!”

Upon hearing this, fury surged within Gao Zhou, “You little brats! Go call your parents right now!”

The twins crossed their arms in unison, sneering at Gao Zhou. “Ha, do you even know who our dad is?” they taunted.
