The little one looked up at the lottery box, which was almost as tall as she was, and let out a series of excited “wow” sounds, her tiny hands trying their best to reach up.
The staff member, utterly charmed by her cuteness, couldn’t help but smile and quickly lowered the lottery box for her, even showing her how to use it.
In reality, they usually didn’t like letting kids participate in lotteries.
Kids were unpredictable, unlike adults. Some would try to grab two tickets instead of one because they found it fun, and the staff would have to patiently convince the parents and child to put one ticket back.
But…
This little girl was just too adorable!!
Not only that, she seemed so polite.
Blinded by her cuteness, the staff member spoke softly and exaggerated their movements to show Yu Yuanyuan how to draw a ticket properly.
With her big, intelligent eyes, the little girl nodded seriously, indicating that she understood.
Yu Mingxi watched from the side, smiling warmly.
Gao Zhou had already pulled out his phone and started recording, planning to show the video to Mr. Yu later.
Only Yu Yingze wasn’t so sure about how things would go.
Every time she said she understood, it usually meant she didn’t understand anything at all!
I understand, I was pretending.
“Big brother, second brother, uncle Gao, what do you all want?” Yu Yuanyuan half-squatted in front of the lottery box, curling up like a tiny bread roll.
She was so round and adorable that Gao Zhou couldn’t help but snap a few more quick photos.
Even passing tourists couldn’t resist taking out their phones to capture the little cutie.
Yu Mingxi glanced at the prizes and pointed with a smile, “That polar bear plushie is really cute.”
The little girl’s gaze then shifted to Gao Zhou.
Caught off guard by the attention, Gao Zhou quickly pointed to the penguin keychain. “This one, this one! It’s so cute!”
It looked just like Miss Yuan—round and chubby. Just looking at it put him in a good mood.
Yu Yuanyuan’s gaze then moved to Yu Yingze, urging him to choose something too.
What?
Did she think that just because he picked something, she’d be able to win it?
Yu Yingze wasn’t impressed. He glanced at the prizes, not particularly interested in any of them.
Well, except for that chubby penguin plushie. It looked kind of funny.
The penguin was the second prize, about the same size as Yu Yuanyuan. If they dressed them both in matching outfits and placed them side by side, their silhouettes would look identical…
The thought amused him, and he had to fight back a smile, his lips twitching as he tried to maintain his cool image.
“That one, I guess,” Yu Yingze casually pointed at the large penguin plushie.
After gathering everyone’s preferences, the little girl bent over and reached her tiny hands into the raffle box.
She fished around for about two minutes before finally pulling her hand out, clutching four tickets.
“Little one, you can only draw one ticket!” the staff member reminded her with a smile.
Even though they’d said this about a hundred times today, repeating it to this adorable little bundle of joy didn’t feel frustrating at all.
The little girl, almost losing her balance, placed a hand on the raffle box and said in her sweet voice, “But, sister, there are four of us!”
Oh, right!
Caught up in recording, Gao Zhou quickly pulled out four lottery tickets and handed them over.
They had bought four passes, which meant they were entitled to four lottery entries.
Whether they drew all four at once or separately didn’t really make a difference.
“Yuanyuan is too slow at grabbing,” the little girl pouted, showing her tiny hand to the staff. “These paws are clumsy, not useful at all.”
She started missing her nimble kitty paws.
The staff member, thoroughly amused, laughed uncontrollably while taking the tickets from the little girl to start the draw.
In fact, the staff had already decided that if they didn’t win anything, they would personally give her a small trinket just to make her happy.
But when they opened the first ticket, the staff member was completely stunned.
