The Whole Entertainment Industry Thought I Was an Alpha Chapter 65

Chapter 65

The person inside the door had bright, shining eyes, as if the entire night sky outside had shattered into stars and fallen into them, carrying the delicate scent of freesia.

Lu Wei thought of the meaning of freesia in flower language—pure love, deep affection, and eternal anticipation of romance.

“Hurry, close the door!” Lin Si pulled him in with one hand while using his knee to push the door shut.

As soon as the door closed, the room became much quieter. Finally, they could properly see each other.

After half a month apart, Lin Si had missed Lu Wei terribly.

Standing by the door, he turned to look at him and grinned, holding out the flower. “I wanted to buy a bouquet for you, but I’ve been watering this freesia on set from time to time. So, if you think about it, I kind of grew it myself. It makes more sense to give you this one. You can take it home and put it on your balcony—let Auntie Li water it every day.”

“You said it was for me, but now it sounds like I’m just taking care of your plant.” Lu Wei raised an eyebrow.

Lin Si played innocent. “That’s not true—it’s definitely a gift for you!”

He grabbed Lu Wei’s hand and led him to 604, their little AI companion. “Wake up! Lu Wei is here!”

604’s eyes flickered. It rotated 90 degrees and saw Lin Si and Lu Wei.

Then, in an icy tone, it scoffed: “Hah.”

“…Look at this brat you gave me.” Lin Si pointed at it and tattled to Lu Wei.

Lu Wei reached behind 604’s head, pried open a small panel, and pressed a button.

“AAAAH! MURDER!” 604 screeched and zoomed to Lin Si’s feet, its cover still flapping. “LU WEI, YOU BASTARD!!!”

Lin Si jumped in shock and cradled 604’s head. “What happened?! What happened?!”

“If it bullies you again, just press the round button inside the cover,” Lu Wei said. “It’s afraid of that.”

“Let me try.” Lin Si reached for it, and 604 bolted again. “Lin Si, you bastard! You and your bastard boyfriend!”

After cursing them out, 604 shut down, its eyes going dark.

Lin Si laughed so hard he had to lean on Lu Wei for support. “It shut down from sheer anger! Hahaha!”

As he laughed, he suddenly noticed Lu Wei staring at him intently. Feeling a little awkward, he straightened up, tilting his head to the side and sneaking glances at Lu Wei.

Before long, Lu Wei cupped his chin and turned him directly toward him.

The touch of his fingers made Lin Si squirm like a little cat. He muttered, “Stop holding onto the flower. Just put it on the table.”

He kept talking, his mind overflowing with things he wanted to say to Lu Wei. “When are you leaving tomorrow? Can you stay a little longer? I don’t have any scenes in the morning, so I can go to set after lunch—”

His vision suddenly went dark, and something soft landed on the corner of his lips.

A gentle, gentlemanly, yet heart-fluttering kiss.

Lin Si pressed his thumbnail against the pad of his index finger, tensing every joint, as if he might start trembling the next moment if he let go.

When he had kissed Lu Wei before, he hadn’t felt this way. Back then, he was simply head over heels for him and thought the quickest way to show it was to kiss him—so he did.

Twice, in fact.

But now, he was so nervous his heartbeat felt like it might burst out of his throat, buzzing inside him but making no sound, throwing his mind into chaos.

It was only when Lu Wei’s lips pulled away that Lin Si finally let out his first breath. He ran his tongue over the corner of his lips but didn’t feel anything.

“Why didn’t you kiss my lips?”

Pouting slightly, he lifted his chin and leaned closer to Lu Wei, eyes soft and pleading. “Won’t you kiss me properly?”

With Lin Si pressing so close, Lu Wei had nowhere to retreat. He touched Lin Si’s lips with his fingers. “Stop messing with me.”

“Then why did you come all this way? Don’t you want to kiss me?” Lin Si wrapped his arms around Lu Wei’s waist. “But I do. Give me a kiss.”

Without waiting for an answer, he lunged forward and stole a kiss.

Lin Si’s kissing skills weren’t advanced—so far, his best technique was sneaking a quick peck and darting away.

He had seen those deep, passionate French kisses in movies, but Lu Wei never seemed to let him get that close. He wasn’t sure if Lu Wei would be upset if he suddenly tried slipping his tongue in.

Just as he was about to pretend nothing happened and make his escape, Lu Wei caught him by the waist and pulled him back.

The scent of Lu Wei’s Alpha pheromones blended forcefully into Lin Si’s Omega scent, invading it completely. It was like a strong, rich liquor pouring into a pool of crystal-clear water, permeating every molecule without resistance.

Lin Si was kissed so thoroughly that he could barely stand. His arms had nowhere to brace against, so he had no choice but to cling onto Lu Wei, swaying unsteadily.

An inexperienced Alpha’s kisses weren’t as soft as lips—they often lacked control, forcefully stealing breaths from their beloved. Lin Si was kissed until he whimpered uncontrollably, stepping on Lu Wei’s foot one moment and scratching his back the next.

“Lu…” Lin Si whimpered weakly under the pressure of the Alpha’s pheromones, his whole body going soft. He barely managed to whisper, “No more…”

But before he could finish, his words were swallowed whole.

Dazed and breathless, Lin Si felt himself being moved—perhaps from in front of the TV stand to the sofa, then lifted into Lu Wei’s arms and placed on the edge of the bed.

It wasn’t until he was truly out of breath that Lu Wei finally let go, gently rubbing circles on Lin Si’s chest to help him breathe.

“You… You…” Lin Si panted, buried in Lu Wei’s arms. “I said no more….”

The Alpha in front of him didn’t even offer a sincere apology. “Sorry,” he said, but his tone was anything but regretful—it was laced with dissatisfaction.

Lin Si could clearly pick out Lu Wei’s pheromones from the air. As he finally caught his breath, he also noticed the overwhelming scent surrounding him.

He looked up and saw Lu Wei’s tense, restrained expression.

“You’re… pressing against me,” Lin Si murmured.

Lu Wei let out a rough sigh, pressing his hand to the back of Lin Si’s head to keep him from making any more tempting movements.

“I feel hot too,” Lin Si whispered, rubbing his knee against Lu Wei. “I can feel it…”

“Baby,” Lu Wei exhaled sharply and let go of him. He knelt down and covered Lin Si’s eyes with his hand, his voice low. “Baby.”

Lin Si bit his lip, then leaned closer. “Bite me, okay?”

Lu Wei clenched his molars, forcing out a rough, “Will it affect your filming?”

“My scene tomorrow is in a school uniform,” Lin Si said. “It has a collar.”

The scent of pheromones was thickest near the glands. One kiss had already undone all the long-term inhibitors Lin Si had taken.

Lu Wei pushed aside his collar and kissed the soft skin over his gland. Once Lin Si had steadied himself by gripping his waist, Lu Wei bit down gently.

Teeth pierced the skin. It still hurt, but compared to the past, Lin Si was much calmer. When the Alpha’s pheromones seeped in, he couldn’t help but let out a soft, contented sigh.

Lu Wei’s lips didn’t leave the gland until the wound no longer looked so unsightly. Finally, he pulled back from Lin Si’s gland.

“Does your gland hurt?” Lu Wei used his finger to wipe away a tiny bit of moisture at the corner of Lin Si’s eye.

Lin Si nodded. “Mm, it doesn’t hurt.”

“Really?” Lu Wei wasn’t entirely convinced.

Lin Si leaned in and gave Lu Wei a quick kiss on the cheek. His eyes curved like little crescents, serious as he said, “It really doesn’t.”

Then, he calmly ran the heel of his palm down Lu Wei’s clothes, pressing against his own thigh, and said matter-of-factly, “My pants are wet. I’ll go change.”

“Go ahead.”

Lin Si got up and hurried to the wardrobe, rummaging for pajama pants and a gland repair patch. Just as he was about to step into the bathroom, he peeked his head back out, his face still tinged with a lingering flush. “I’ll take a shower while I’m at it.”

Lu Wei was nearly worn down by him. His voice was hoarse as he replied, “Okay.”

Lin Si made a playful “mua” sound from afar before closing the door.

After the sound of the door clicking shut, a soft chuckle of helplessness escaped Lu Wei.

He relaxed his grip, and only then did the blood return to his pale knuckles. But the deep nail marks in his palm clearly showed just how much effort it had taken to restrain himself.

Once he had calmed down, Lu Wei leaned over to tidy up Lin Si’s bed, straightening the messy pillows and carefully placing a few stuffed toys that Lin Si had recently favored at the head of the bed.

Just then, Lin Si’s phone, lying beside the pillow, lit up. Lu Wei paused in the middle of folding the blanket, catching a glimpse of the caller ID from the corner of his eye.

Xiangyang-ge.

He glanced at it briefly before looking away. Overcoming his compulsive tendencies, he unfolded the half-folded blanket and redid it from scratch.

By the time Xu Xiangyang’s call turned into a missed one, leaving only a small notification on the screen, Lu Wei had finished tidying the bed. He picked up the small freesia bouquet that had been placed at the edge of the desk and set it in the center of the coffee table.

When Lin Si came out, he felt like something in the room was different, but he couldn’t quite put his finger on it. So instead, he ran over to Lu Wei, shook his head, and splattered water from his damp hair onto him.

He giggled, draping a towel over his head. “I’m done showering.”

Lu Wei wiped off a few droplets from his face, then, while they were still warm, pressed them back onto Lin Si’s face.

Lin Si quickly pushed his hand away. “No wiping on me!”

Lu Wei pulled him back and nudged him toward the bed. “Blow-dry your hair.”

Lin Si pulled off the towel and asked, “Are you going to help me?”

“Sit properly.” Lu Wei went to the bathroom, grabbed the hairdryer, and stood in front of Lin Si. Before he could even turn it on, Lin Si knelt on the bed, tugging at his arm. “Don’t stay so far away. Sit here, next to me.”

As he spoke, he crossed his legs beside Lu Wei, obediently leaning his head forward while tugging at his pant leg. “Okay, go ahead.”

The hairdryer was quiet, its temperature just right. Lin Si felt like he was enveloped in the warmth of Lu Wei’s palm, cozy and drowsy, as if he could melt right into it.

“You still haven’t told me how long you’re staying,” Lin Si asked.

Lu Wei combed through his damp hair with his fingers. “My flight is at ten tomorrow morning.”

Lin Si instantly deflated. “That early…? Then I’ll get up early tomorrow so we can talk before you go.”

“Sleep in a little longer.” Lu Wei tilted his chin up, making him face him directly while drying the hair at his forehead. “We haven’t seen each other for half a month. Your dark circles are heavy.”

“They are not,” Lin Si protested. “I even did a face mask last night since I knew you were coming.”

Lu Wei chuckled softly and ruffled his freshly dried, fluffy hair.

“Lu Wei.” Just as Lu Wei was putting away the hairdryer, Lin Si grabbed his wrist, eyes bright like stars, ready to ask something serious.

But before he could get the words out, a velvet box appeared before him.

Lin Si blinked and took it from Lu Wei’s hands. “What’s this?”

“Open it and see.”

Lu Wei set the hairdryer aside and pulled Lin Si into his lap.

Lin Si dangled his legs over the edge, flipping open the box to reveal a deep, imperial green jade bracelet with an exceptional luster—an heirloom piece, no doubt.

“This was my mother’s.” Lu Wei wrapped Lin Si’s hand around the bracelet along with his own, enclosing it securely. “You can’t wear it, but it belongs to you.”

The unexpected weight in his palm made Lin Si look up at Lu Wei. “Really? You’re giving it to me?”

“Mm.” Lu Wei stroked the back of his hand, his tone playful, yet his words carried a weight of solemnity. “Once you accept it, you have to come home with me.”
