The Whole School Thinks I’m An Alpha Pretending To Be An Omega Chapter 24

Chu Tao knew Jiang She had always done as he pleased at school, and no one dared to stop him. Today, Mo Xi had simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time. If Jiang She really decided to deal with him because of this, it would likely leave a psychological scar on the little guy.

Anyway, Jiang She not wearing the school uniform was his own problem, and it wasn’t wrong to settle the score with him.

Chu Tao looked up. “Fine, if you want to settle things with me, go ahead, but don’t cause trouble for him.”

Jiang She didn’t expect Chu Tao to respond like this.

He froze for a second, his expression darkening immediately.

“You’re really protecting that little Omega?”

Chu Tao frowned. “Protecting him? It’s not even his fault.”

Jiang She gritted his teeth, threatening, “What if I really decide to cause trouble for him? What will you do?”

In reality, Jiang She didn’t care about someone so insignificant. Although rumors circulated that he was a troublemaker, if he tried to retaliate for every minor grievance, he’d probably be exhausted by now.

But Chu Tao’s attitude made Jiang She extremely displeased.

He hadn’t said anything in front of everyone out of respect, but now, standing in front of Chu Tao, he wasn’t about to let Chu Tao explain things for that little Omega.

Chu Tao didn’t know why Jiang She suddenly started picking a fight with him.

“He called me ‘senior,’ so I can’t pretend I don’t know anything.”

Jiang She fixed his gaze on him for a few seconds, sneered, “You really think you’re invincible just because you’ve practiced Taekwondo for a couple of days?”

“Ah She, why are you so angry?” Fang Sheng came over to mediate, wrapping his arm around Jiang She’s neck and whispering in his ear, “At least for Chu Xingning’s sake, you can’t hit his little brother, right?”

Though Fang Sheng’s voice was soft, Chu Tao still heard it.

Chu Tao took a deep breath and suddenly didn’t feel like touching the book on the desk anymore.

Fang Sheng smiled at Chu Tao. “Class leader, you’re pretty good, but against Ah She, you won’t win. He was trained in the police force. He can disarm someone with his bare hands without breaking a sweat. Do you think that’s not how the twelve schools in Huai City were defeated?”

Chu Tao exhaled and muttered softly, “I don’t want to fight him.”

He didn’t realize that this sentence, when heard by others, sounded like a mix of grievance and playful complaining.

Jiang She pushed Fang Sheng’s arm away, unbothered by his words: “I don’t care whose face I’m looking at. Chu Tao, are you really planning to protect that little Omega?”

Even with Chu Tao trying to stay calm, the youthful arrogance in him couldn’t be suppressed. Provoked by Jiang She, he growled, “So what if I am? Can you stop being so overbearing? The only thing Mo Xi did wrong was not knowing you were the untouchable school bully!”

Fang Sheng looked startled, eyes wide with disbelief as he stared at Chu Tao.

He knew that initially, Jiang She wasn’t mad; he was just teasing the class leader. But for some reason, the situation escalated so quickly.

What puzzled him more was that when Chu Tao first came to Class 3, he was rather cautious, avoiding Jiang She as much as possible.

But in just two days, his courage had grown so much?

Chu Tao, surprised by his own outburst, was also stunned.

Perhaps the events of last night had made him drop his guard against Jiang She.

He had placed Jiang She in the category of someone he didn’t need to be cautious with, which made him blurt out something like “school bully.”

Jiang She’s eyes turned cold. He jumped off the desk, towering over Chu Tao, and said in a low voice, “Come with me.”

Students started trickling into the classroom, but no one dared to speak loudly, silently watching Jiang She and Chu Tao.

Those who didn’t know the full context were silently mourning for Chu Tao.

How could he keep provoking Jiang She like this? He had a death wish.

Jiang She was the type who wouldn’t tolerate disobedience, and if Chu Tao didn’t follow him now, it was likely that the teacher wouldn’t even start the first lesson.

Chu Tao stood up, bracing himself.

He had poured soda on Jiang She and they didn’t fight. He had sent Jiang She’s pants to the laundry and he didn’t hold it against him. He had even unintentionally learned about Jiang She’s family situation, but Jiang She never said anything about it.

But now, their first confrontation was over something so trivial—a student he had met only once and almost forgot about without the reminder.

But Chu Tao also knew that there might come a day when he would inevitably clash with Jiang She.

Chu Tao took off his school jacket, quickly rolled it up, and tossed it onto the desk, lowering his head as he followed Jiang She out.

Jiang She didn’t even put down his backpack, and the low pressure around him made the students in front unconsciously clear a path.

Chu Tao’s deskmate, Dai Wenjian, craned his neck and whispered to Fang Sheng, “What’s going on? Did the class leader offend Brother She again?”

Fang Sheng also felt that their argument seemed aimless, so he shrugged, “Who the hell knows?”

The corridor was rarely touched by sunlight, and many classes had just finished mopping the floors, the heat evaporating and making the temperature unusually cold.

Chu Tao’s arms broke out in goosebumps. After walking a few steps with Jiang She, he couldn’t help but sneeze.

Jiang She slightly raised his gaze and subtly slowed his pace.

There was a small storage room next to each floor, used to store tables, chairs, and miscellaneous items. It was originally meant for teachers to offer extra help, but since teachers were reluctant to go there, it gradually became abandoned.

The small room had frosted glass doors, and rarely anyone went in, so it was one of the few enclosed spaces in the school.

When Jiang She pushed the door open, Chu Tao furrowed his brows.

This place… wasn’t spacious enough.

But he still followed inside.

As soon as they entered, Jiang She lunged forward, using force to slam Chu Tao against the wall.

Chu Tao was unable to move, having to tilt his head and let him do as he pleased.

Jiang She, furious, asked, “Are you just going to go against me?”

Chu Tao shifted his shoulder and realized that Jiang She was surprisingly strong. He couldn’t break free.

It seemed Fang Sheng was right; Jiang She had received professional training. The way he held him in this grip, Chu Tao couldn’t think of a way to escape.

He sighed. “I’m sorry, I was wrong.”

Jiang She raised an eyebrow but didn’t say anything.

Chu Tao allowed him to pin him and didn’t resist, obediently pressing against the wall.

“I shouldn’t have said that about you. After all, I’ve never seen you bully anyone for no reason.”

He himself was a prime example.

Jiang She spoke harshly, but deep down, he hadn’t actually considered taking revenge on him.

Moreover, after Jiang She had been mistakenly arrested by the police last night, he wasn’t actually in a rush. If he hadn’t been so frantic, Jiang She wouldn’t have needed to call his mother.

And he wouldn’t have heard the sarcastic remarks from the his mother.

Unable to hold back the itch in his throat, Chu Tao turned his head to avoid Jiang She’s face and coughed quietly.

The pressure Jiang She had on him involuntarily lessened.

Jiang She muttered with a hint of annoyance, “You were pretty arrogant earlier, but you apologized so quickly.”

The small room had a window, and the damp morning air drifted in, lifting a small amount of dust from the windowsill.

The dust scattered in the air, tiny specks visible in the faint orange light of the morning.

It was the dust that made Chu Tao cough.

After coughing, he turned his face back, lifted his eyelids, and gazed at Jiang She with his clear, bright eyes. His fingers lightly tugged at Jiang She’s sportswear sleeve.

“Are you still going to hit me?”

Jiang She looked down and saw Chu Tao’s pale, slender fingers pinching his sleeve. A jolt ran through his heart, as if he had been shocked by electricity.

Damn.

Jiang She cursed inwardly.

He felt like he was becoming less of a person.

In this situation, he actually wanted to bully Chu Tao even more, hoping to make him cry and beg for mercy.

Chu Tao’s long, thick lashes trembled, and his voice was a bit hoarse. “Jiang She?”

Jiang She’s Adam’s apple bobbed slightly, and he slowly loosened his grip on Chu Tao, though he still hesitated to pull his arm away from the one that Chu Tao was holding.

After Chu Tao regained his freedom, he naturally pulled his hand back and rubbed his shoulder.

He thought to himself, ‘Looks like there’s no need to fight anymore.’
