The big shot from the vocational school took a careful look at Chu Tao.
Though he was an alpha, Chu Tao was actually quite handsome, with delicate features and smooth skin. Even when glaring coldly, his face could subdue a lot of the rising aggression.
And as Chu Tao moved closer, the big shot realized that he was about the same height.
Maybe it was because Chu Tao looked so slender, which gave the illusion that he was weak.
Was this how the good students from the top high school looked?
The streetlight shone on Chu Tao’s face, the orange light casting a halo over his lashes, his long shadow stretched out on the wall.
He was someone you’d hesitate to hurt.
Such a clean-cut good student, it would be a pity to beat him up and ruin his appearance.
The big shot from the vocational school swaggered a couple of steps forward, puffing out his chest.
“Does your school have a problem? I said Omega is slutty, what does that have to do with you alphas?”
Chu Tao immediately threw a punch.
The big shot from the vocational school was completely unprepared, and the punch landed squarely on his nose.
His nose went numb, then a sharp pain, and soon warm blood started dripping down.
Both groups of students were stunned, not knowing whether they should rush in or not.
According to the rules, before a group fight starts, the leaders of both sides usually spend some time exchanging insults.
Once the insults were over, they would shove each other, one after the other, until the pushing reached a peak. Then, as soon as the leaders started fighting, everyone else would rush in and the brawl would begin.
This was the usual unwritten rule that everyone followed when starting a group fight.
But the atmosphere hadn’t reached that point yet, and suddenly, it was shattered by someone throwing a punch.
So, both sides hesitated, unsure whether they should join in or not.
The big shot from the vocational school wiped his nose, his hand streaked with blood.
His eyes bloodshot, he glared at Chu Tao and cursed, “Fuck your mother!”
“Try it if you dare!” Chu Tao snarled back through gritted teeth and lunged forward again.
When a person is enraged to the extreme, fighting becomes chaotic.
Even though Chu Tao had mastered Taekwondo’s offensive techniques, knowing when to execute a sidekick followed by a reverse spinning kick, and how to punch to the chest after a block, right now, his mind was a blank. His punches and kicks were driven purely by instinct.
The big shot from the vocational school raised his fist, aiming to smash Chu Tao’s head, but before he could land the punch, Chu Tao kicked him hard on the chin.
The searing pain caused his punch to go off-course, landing instead on Chu Tao’s shoulder.
The blow to his shoulder still hurt, but Chu Tao didn’t even flinch. He took the hit and then drove his knee into the big shot’s stomach.
“Fuck!” The vocational school big shot couldn’t help but bend forward, leaving his back exposed to Chu Tao.
He hadn’t expected this seemingly weak student to be such a strong fighter, and to hit so relentlessly, as if trying to kill him.
At first, he had wanted to show Chu Tao some mercy, but the situation had changed in an instant, and now, he had no power to fight back.
“Say it again!” Chu Tao growled, forcing the words out from his throat. He lifted his foot and kicked the vocational school big shot into the wall.
His back slammed into the cold, hard stone bricks, producing a muffled thud.
The vocational school big shot winced in pain, gritting his teeth, his arm trembling slightly.
But there was no way he would back down. If he did, he would be ridiculed by the entire school tomorrow.
Moreover, he didn’t believe he couldn’t defeat this slender alpha.
“I’ll say it! The Huainan No.1 high school omega’s are slut! You’re an idiot! Only Five hundred a night!”
Chu Tao sneered and nodded.
He suddenly crouched down, swiped his hand across the ground, and grabbed a handful of filthy dirt mixed with roots.
He walked up, grabbed the vocational school big shot by his collar, and without caring about the fists landing on him, shoved the dirt into the big shot’s mouth.
“Fuck, shut up!”
“You’ve got a dirty mouth, I dare you to keep talking!”
Chu Tao kept shoving the dirt into his mouth until it was all gone, then forcefully tossed the big shot to the ground and stepped back to catch his breath.
His clothes were completely disheveled, the seam of his school uniform at the shoulder ripped open, leaving a small hole.
Sweat slid down his neck into the collar of his shirt, and his dark hair stuck to his temples and ears, damp and messy.
He looked more disheveled than ever, but his eyes were cold and sharp, giving off an aura so intense that no one would dare approach him.
The vocational school big shot was in much worse shape.
Not only had he been fed dirt, but from the struggle, he had also inhaled a lot of dust and grime as his body had been deprived of air and needed to breathe.
Now, leaning against the wall, he coughed, spitting out sand and grass roots from his mouth.
The dirt tasted salty, rancid, and damp, filling his mouth and overwhelming his taste buds, making him gag uncontrollably.
Chu Tao stared at him, tugged at his clothes, and only then did his clenched fist loosen slightly.
“Still dare to talk shit?” he asked coldly.
The only response he received was a continuous coughing fit.
Chu Tao was not done. He stepped forward and kicked him again, growling, “Go on, keep cursing.”
The man glared at him, continuing to spit out the dirt from his mouth.
“Trash.”
Neither side made a move, even though there were nearly forty people present.
Though the vocational school big shot had fallen quickly, the whole ordeal had lasted only a few minutes, and no one knew where to intervene and help.
Fang Sheng muttered, “Damn, the class president’s gone crazy.”
He knew Chu Tao was strong and that he was a black belt in Taekwondo, but he had never seen Chu Tao go all out like this.
Now, he realized that if Chu Tao really lost it, even Ah She might not be able to take advantage of it.
Fang Sheng felt a chill, remembering when Chu Tao first joined the class and he had actually tried to intimidate him!
Xu Yuan lowered his voice, “Are we still going to fight or what?”
The vocational school big shot had been knocked down by Chu Tao, and his side still didn’t seem to want to make a move.
Since they hadn’t attacked yet, and they were the winning side, it felt wrong to step in and help.
Jiang She blocked Xu Yuan’s way, saying, “He wants to handle it himself. Chu Xingning is his brother.”
Jiang She kept his eyes on Chu Tao.
He saw Chu Tao take a hit to the shoulder, and a punched in his left ribs, but Jiang She held back and didn’t intervene.
Because he knew Chu Tao could handle it, and because he respected that Chu Tao wanted to solve it on his own.
The other students in Class 3 didn’t expect this. They came in with full force, ready to fight, but within moments, they became spectators instead.
Dai Wenjian shrunk back and muttered, “What does dirt taste like?”
Xu Bo Xue whispered, “Why don’t you go ask the vocational school big shot?”
Dai Wenjian quickly shook his head, “I’m not crazy, if I steal the class president’s goods, I’m afraid he’ll beat me up too.”
Xu Bo Xue said, “I told you, no ordinary person could make it into our class. The class president is too ruthless. Even Ah She wouldn’t do something like shove dirt into someone’s mouth.”
Finally, the vocational school people came to their senses, one of them hesitantly asked, “Boss, do you need help?”
The big shot from the vocational school, still holding onto the wall, stood up, his voice raspy from the dirt, and yelled, “Are you all blind?! Kill him!”
He pointed at Chu Tao, and only then did the vocational school group charge forward.
But in their hearts, they felt uneasy.
The boss had been knocked down, losing momentum right from the start. Moreover, the other side was so strong that even a random person could fight like that, and Jiang She hadn’t even stepped in yet.
A gust of wind blew through the narrow alley, causing all the students’ uniforms to puff up and make a rustling sound.
The students from Class 3 couldn’t just watch Chu Tao fight twenty people alone, so they were preparing to charge forward.
Suddenly, the sound of hurried, disorganized footsteps echoed from the alley entrance.
Yang Liu’s sharp voice rang out as she ran, shouting, “Jiang She! No fighting!”
Her voice was so powerful that everyone in the alley could hear it clearly.
“Police! No one move!”
“No one run, squat down!”
Of course, Yang Liu didn’t come alone; she had called the police after receiving the message from Chu Tao.
She knew that the students were all fired up, and Chu Tao couldn’t stop them alone. By the time she got there, they would already be in the middle of a brawl.
To break them up immediately, the only option was the police—one officer was enough.
When the students heard the police, they panicked and stopped fighting, the once-tense atmosphere completely dissipated.
The vocational school students, used to this, quickly spotted the police and dashed towards the alley entrance, scattering in all directions.
No one wanted to be caught; being caught meant writing a report, notifying parents, and having their allowances cut off.
They didn’t even bother with their fallen leader who couldn’t escape.
The students from Class 3 were blocked by the police right at the alley entrance, unable to escape in time.
Jiang She seized the moment of confusion, pulling Chu Tao into the crowd.
Chu Tao, still caught up in the adrenaline rush, was stunned for a moment when he heard Yang Liu’s shout.
The homeroom teacher arrived?
She was pretty timely.
It seemed like she came to break up the fight, but right now, he was the only one who had laid a hand on someone.
Chu Tao raised his palm, still covered in dirt, with dark soil spreading along his hand’s lines.
It was only then that he felt the pain in his body.
As the adrenaline faded, the pain receptors kicked in.
His shoulder, ribs, and back were definitely bruised. Even raising his arm made him feel sore, and his temples were throbbing from the pain.
Chu Tao blinked, deliberately ignoring his discomfort, and wiped the sweat from his neck.
The strong wind blew across his face, picking up dirt from the ground and sending it swirling through the air.
The bright light from a flashlight revealed the tiny particles, swirling and tumbling in the air, hitting the walls before falling into the corners.
The young buds on the willow tree trembled, competing with the people in the alley in noise.
Chu Tao was starting to clear his head.
He had fought, but he didn’t regret it.
No one could insult his brother in front of him—this person deserved to be beaten.
Even if the consequences were severe, and even if Yang Liu got angry, he had accepted his fate.
Fang Sheng was still trying to reassure everyone, “It’s okay, don’t worry, we have Ah She here, his mom’s from the police station.”
Jiang She stood at the front of the group, neither crouching nor running.
He silently walked over to the vocational school big shot, bent down, grabbed his collar, and pulled him up from the wall.
As soon as the vocational school big shot saw Jiang She, his scalp tingled. He was about to speak when Jiang She leaned close to his ear and whispered, “Just follow my lead later, I’ll make sure you’re fine.”
The vocational school big shot froze for a moment, wiped the blood from his nose with his sleeve, and said nothing.
When Yang Liu rushed in, she saw the bruised and swollen vocational school leader being lifted by Jiang She, and her head buzzed.
“Jiang She! Are you that itching for a fight?!”
Yang Liu yelled sharply, raising her hand to slap Jiang She’s arm.
But she was too thin and small, so the slap was barely stronger than her scream.
The vocational school leader coughed violently a couple of times, and Jiang She casually tossed him aside.
Jiang She smiled at Yang Liu, “Yeah, I was itching for a fight.”
