They walked slowly for an hour until they reached a small flat area. There were more than ten scattered small pavilions, offering tourists a place to sit and rest. Nearby, there was a micro-supermarket where common drinks and snacks could be bought.

Xi Yuan quickly pulled Qin Fei to an empty seat that had just opened up and took out a bottle of water from his spatial ring, unscrewing it before handing it to the male zerg.

Qin Fei saw this. He didn’t need Xi Yuan to go to such lengths—helping him open a bottle of water. He was clearly a man! He had been one before, and he still was now. But unfortunately, they were in the zerg world, and it was natural for female zergs to care for male zergs. Seeing other zergs around him doing the same, Qin Fei didn’t say anything. “Do you know anything about Aurora Star and the Red Sea?” Qin Fei asked with a smile. He assumed Xi Yuan had already done his homework, and this question was just to start a conversation. It was a pleasant experience, sitting here in the breeze and looking at the ruby-like view. Chatting would help strengthen their bond. After all, they were here for their honeymoon, not just for the scenery. The real goal was to get closer to each other and deepen their relationship. No matter how beautiful the scenery, it was just a backdrop.

But before Xi Yuan could respond, a voice suddenly interrupted from nearby.

“Excuse me, do either of you have any medicinal spray? My friend just accidentally twisted his ankle.”

A pleasant voice came through, but just as Xi Yuan was about to speak, he was interrupted. He glanced over with an annoyed look.

A female zerg awkwardly touched his head, and behind him was a petite sub-female. The sub-female’s ankle was abnormally swollen, and his face was a little flushed as he glanced nervously in their direction.

Xi Yuan took a quick look and understood the situation. The injury was nothing serious. If he sprayed some medicinal mist, it would be back to normal in half an hour. Even without the spray, it would heal in a few hours. As for the pain…

But this was different for him. He had enough reason and confidence. His master was not in the mood for such things right now. Even if, in the future, his master wanted to find a female attendant, that was a matter for later. He took out a small spray, no bigger than his thumb, and tossed it over.

“Here you go.”

The sub-female caught the spray handed to him by his companion, biting his lip in frustration. Why wasn’t the male zerg following the script?

“May I ask how I should address the two of you? I’ve been living on Aurora Star for over a year, so I’m fairly familiar with it. If you need any assistance, please don’t hesitate to ask.”

“This isn’t for you,” Xi Yuan replied coldly, “Buy two bottles of water instead. The value should balance out.” He wanted to avoid any further interaction and deliberately ignored his question.

Upon hearing this, the sub-female’s face stiffened. He looked at Qin Fei, hoping that he might say something.

But Qin Fei tilted his head, continuing to focus on the lake below the mountain, appearing completely absorbed in the view, clearly uninterested in what was happening here.

The sub-female, seeing that there was no way to continue the conversation, had no choice but to give up. After all, there was plenty of time ahead, and he wasn’t fixated on this particular male zerg. Even though high-ranking male zergs were rarer, they were still quite common in this popular tourist destination. He gestured for his companion to go to the convenience store and buy two drinks.

His companion, understanding, went to buy two of the most expensive drinks.

With the drinks now valued much higher than before, Xi Yuan took one, indicating that everything was settled.

Qin Fei stood up and said, “Let’s continue walking. You can stay here and rest for a while.”

The first sentence was directed at Xi Yuan, and the second at the sub-female.

After nodding to acknowledge, Qin Fei took Xi Yuan’s hand and continued up the path, soon putting the whole matter out of his mind.

As they passed the sub-female, Xi Yuan did something childish. He gave the sub-female a smug smile, a playful curve to his lips.

They walked along the path, stopping occasionally, and by midday, they had reached the halfway point of the mountain. They found a suitable spot and spread a clean cloth on the ground. Xi Yuan then began to take out the picnic items one by one. Seeing this, Qin Fei also rummaged through his space ring, wondering what he could bring out for the picnic. In the end, he found two bottles of clear wine.

It was indeed clear wine, both the name and characteristic of the drink. The taste was very light, and the alcohol content was low. However, it was highly nourishing for female zergs’ bodies, one of the few medicinal wines that could benefit both male and female zergs. Due to the ingredients used in its brewing, it was particularly beneficial for females in terms of fertility, making it quite popular among them.

When Xi Yuan saw the wine, his eyes lit up. This particular color indicated that it was a cellar-aged rare batch, which meant its effects would be even better.

This spot was a little off the main path and quite distant, so not many zergs ventured here, making it peaceful. The two zergs, accompanied by the gentle breeze and the rustling sound of the leaves, enjoyed their little world together.

After enjoying a uniquely flavored picnic, they continued their climb. Their destination was the highest peak of the Red Ocean—the Lotus Terrace.

At the pace they were walking and sightseeing, it was likely that they would reach the highest peak, enjoy the view, and then head back just as night fell, giving them the perfect opportunity to appreciate the aurora before returning to the manor for a late-night snack.

Along the way, there were few zergs wearing masks, so the two of them stood out more than others, easily attracting the attention of a pair of “acquaintances.”

“What a coincidence, we met again.”

The sub-female and his friend were sitting on a stone bench at the highest peak, and when they saw the two of them, they smiled and greeted them.

Due to their positioning, Qin Fei couldn’t exactly pretend he hadn’t seen them.

“It is quite a coincidence,” he responded, agreeing with her.

“You just arrived, right? The best view around this Lotus Terrace is at the Lotus Mouth. The view there is the best. Right now, with the evening glow, it complements the Red Ocean beautifully. It’s definitely worth the trip if you go and see it.”

“Thank you. Which way should we go?”

“Just walk straight for a kilometer and you’ll see a large rock that can be hugged by three people. There will be a fork in the road, and if you take the rightmost path and walk for 500 meters, you’ll reach it.”

The female zerg was slightly taken aback by his gratitude, and many thoughts flashed through his mind, but he quickly realized that the male zerg’s temperament seemed quite decent, which made his determination even stronger.

“We won’t disturb your rest. Let’s go.” Qin Fei, not aware of their little exchange, was eager to continue. After all, they’d finally made it to the top, so they might as well hurry and enjoy the unique view here.
