Pain.
Bai Wei’s head was spinning from the pain. He reached forward, unable to grab Lu Sen, only managing to clutch the headrest. He could hear the sound of his nails scraping against the fabric—the headrest must have been snagged by his nails. And he himself must be bleeding.
If he had been lying down instead of on his stomach, Bai Wei would have struggled more violently—because he would have been able to see everything. Even if Lu Sen was in human form at that moment, Bai Wei’s sense of size and his instinctual fear of injury would have made him struggle with all his might. But now he was lying on his stomach, like prey held by a large carnivore by the nape of its neck, unable to move.
And Lu Sen was more terrifying than a carnivore. A carnivore only needs to eat the most tender flesh from the prey’s belly to be satisfied. But Lu Sen wanted even his fingers, his ankles, his internal organs, and every inch of bone in his body.
He seemed to hear two people walking in the hallway outside. Who would come to the 30th floor at this time? Could it be other service staff? But Bai Wei couldn’t call for help.
How could he ask for help? I sneaked into room 3003 to kill someone but got caught instead?
Ugh!
“You want to kill me…” Bai Wei whimpered. At that moment, he felt that Lu Sen, the swordsman, must want to kill him, or even worse, dismember him. He tensed every muscle in his body, as if doing so would leave no space for a weapon to strike.

At the moment Bai Wei hit the bed and felt dizzy, he began to doubt Newton and René Descartes, who proposed the law of conservation of momentum. From any force analysis perspective, he shouldn’t have fallen like this! The bed in the presidential suite was soft, but Bai Wei still cried out in pain. Once the dizziness subsided, he saw a pair of eyes glowing with a faint blue light in the dark.
“Don’t go… don’t even think about escaping…”
Several hands messily grabbed his left arm as he tried to support himself. At that moment, Bai Wei lost his voice and said, “How many people are there…”
How many people were on Lu Sen’s bed! In such a situation, he was still pulled over; did they think the more people, the merrier?
Almost instantly, the feeling on Bai Wei’s arm changed to just one hand. It was as if the owner of the hand briefly broke free from the instinct to “grab Bai Wei back,” remembering that a person should only have one left hand.
“Don’t… scream.”
Another right hand pinched Bai Wei’s chin and cheeks, and a long, thick index finger pressed into Bai Wei’s mouth, suppressing any possible screams.
“Mmm… mmm!”
Bai Wei struggled desperately. At that moment, he finally realized there was only one person on the bed, and it was his tall and strong husband. He never knew Lu Sen had such strength and skill in grappling. Bai Wei’s legs struggled fiercely, so Lu Sen flipped him over and pinned him down on the bed.
“Now you finally came.”
The voice sounded like Lu Sen’s, yet not quite like him. Lu Sen pulled out the drug-soaked towel from Bai Wei’s hand and threw it to the ground. Pinned into the pillow, all Bai Wei could hear was Lu Sen’s heavy breathing. Lu Sen’s body alternated between being frighteningly cold, as if just taken out of a freezer, and terrifyingly hot, like a smoking electric iron.
Bai Wei felt dizzy. The smell of seawater made his whole body lose strength, leaving him only able to whimper like a kitten, one cry after another. The guise of a waiter was torn apart and thrown far away. When his calf’s skin touched Lu Sen’s calf, he finally realized what Lu Sen intended to do.
And he understood what Lu Sen was repeating in his ear.
“Let me…”
The smell of seawater surrounded him, dragging him down into the abyss. In that initial moment, Bai Wei let out an uncontrollable, small scream.
“I forgot… you will hurt…”
“Soon… it won’t…”
Bai Wei’s face, buried in the pillow and trembling, was turned over. He vaguely felt something sweet and sticky fall into his mouth.
Soon, Bai Wei felt his entire body’s muscles begin to tremble.

“3003, I think it’s this one. Look, there are wheel marks here.”
The green-streaked hair girl was very cautious. She carried a weapon and carefully opened the door to 3003. The blue-haired boy followed closely behind, nervously preparing for a confrontation with the serial killer.
There seemed to be some noise inside. The blue-haired boy perked up his ears, trying to hear clearly.
But soon, his teammate retreated, a bit embarrassed… In such a short time, there was no way she could have entered the bedroom. The blue-haired boy waited until the green-streaked hair girl closed the door and led him to the elevator before he asked, puzzled, “Sis, what happened?”
“Nothing, false alarm.” The green-streaked hair girl twirled her hair, a habit she had when relieving awkwardness.
“Ah?” the blue-haired boy asked.
“I saw fragments of a waiter’s uniform thrown out of the bedroom… uh, the noise inside was quite loud.”
“Loud noise… are they killing someone?” The blue-haired boy was puzzled, “Sis, shouldn’t we wait by the door to ambush him when he comes out?”
The green-streaked hair girl’s fingers twirled her hair faster, almost as if it was about to smoke: “Rather than killing, it was more like… making someone… well, they probably can’t make someone, but the cries were quite loud… uh, I guess we just stumbled into a passionate scene.”
They reached the hotel lobby. Suddenly, the phone at their waist rang.
The pink-haired girl’s message was brief: “Elite battle, hurry to the coordinates.”
“Elite battle? It seems like a tough elite that even they can’t handle… Eh? Wasn’t it sunny outside just now? Why is it suddenly pouring rain?” The blue-haired boy looked up in surprise at the dark clouds over Blackport City, with water pouring down.
It was almost as if some supernatural creature had triggered a supernatural event.
That night, Blackport City was accompanied by wailing sirens and torrential rain.
There were heavy rains, streams flowing, and water droplets trembling, creating foam.
“Wow.” The blue-haired boy stood on an exhaust tank, gazing at the entire city—including the thirty-story high hotel known as the Pearl of Blackport City. “That last tremor must have woken everyone up, right? Everyone in Blackport City must be watching us now, probably worried sick. Hahaha…”
“I wonder what the hidden boss is doing? Are they scared of us too? Hahaha.”
—–
Bai Wei woke up, but it was thirst that roused him.
“Water…” he said hoarsely and with difficulty.
Outside, it was pouring rain. The entire Blackport City was shrouded in a thick and rich mist, with waves surging below the pier. Despite the abundant and rainy season, Bai Wei’s throat was parched, and his voice was hoarse. He had never been this severely injured in his life.
Moreover, his body felt sticky. Not just beneath him, but his entire body was sticky… especially underneath him.
He couldn’t open his eyes, only the rise and fall of his chest as he breathed heavily showed that he was awake. His stomach also felt bloated and heavy. It took him a while to understand the possible reason for this.
Bai Wei almost cried.
Finally, someone lifted his chin and poured a cool liquid into his mouth.
