Time Travel with a Dimensional Space: The Slacker Girl Goes All Out Chapter 1

Chapter 1: Discovering the Space

BANG!

“That damn unfilial daughter! Unfilial! She really is… I…”

“Honey, don’t be angry anymore. This time, it’s finally settled. You never believed me before, but now you see who’s truly good to you, who genuinely loves you, right? Fortunately, from now on, she won’t interfere with our family’s life. Our son even said earlier that he wants you to take him to the amusement park. He misses you.”

Song Jinxī stormed out, listening to the nauseating conversation between the disgusting couple behind her. She wished she could vomit out everything she had eaten yesterday. But she couldn’t, because ever since she discovered the space yesterday afternoon, she hadn’t had time to eat. She had been busy planning.

It all started yesterday…

In the 21st century, Song Jinxī was undeniably a third-generation rich kid. Even though her parents divorced when she was in middle school, the one thing she never lacked was money.

At first, things were fine. Although she had no contact with her father, the monthly allowance was still transferred on time. But as she entered college, the amount decreased, and by her sophomore year, he had stopped giving her a single cent.

Song Jinxī didn’t care much. Over the years, she had saved quite a fortune. With her sharp mind, she had started trading stocks in high school. Now, her assets totaled 1.236 billion, along with two villas, four luxury cars, and a 10% stake in both her parents’ companies—something her grandfather had fought for on her behalf before he passed away.

However, thanks to her stepmother constantly poisoning her father’s mind, their father-daughter relationship had completely deteriorated. The final blow was when her father caused a scene at her graduation ceremony.

After her graduation trip, Song Jinxī was taking a shower at home when she noticed a floral-shaped birthmark had mysteriously appeared on her elbow. Having read countless novels, her instincts kicked in, and she blurted out, “Enter!”

In the blink of an eye, she found herself in an open space. Or rather… all she could see right now was an empty space. Suddenly, a voice echoed in her mind:

“Activation successful. Time until transmigration: 29 days, 23 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds… 58, 57, 56…”

“Are you my space assistant or a space spirit?”

“Yes, I am your space assistant. But I won’t accompany you—I’m only here to assist you in preparing for the transmigration.”

“Great! If you followed me around, I’d have to take care of you and worry about you being bored in here. Since you’re not coming along, I can enjoy myself however I like!”

Space Assistant: “…” How rude! You might as well just say I’m a burden!

“Let’s get straight to the point. Just answer my questions. Will this space upgrade? Will stored food go bad? Can I raise animals here? Most importantly, am I transmigrating or facing the apocalypse?”

“This space won’t upgrade—it’s already top-tier. As for supplies, whatever state they’re in when you put them inside, they’ll stay that way when you take them out. This space includes mountains, rivers, farmland, orchards, medicinal gardens, and livestock farms—everything you could possibly need. In the distance, there are endless green mountains filled with wild game, making this a fully self-sufficient ecosystem.

The storage space is infinite, with no limit on how much you can store. You don’t need to worry about running out of space. Oh, and there are already supplies inside! You don’t need to collect them yourself. Also, you’re going to a historical fiction world—it’s the year 1960.”

Song Jinxī didn’t care where she was going. There was no point in dwelling on things she couldn’t change. As long as she made thorough preparations, she’d be fine.

So, she immediately started exploring, but after looking around and seeing nothing, she urgently asked, “Supplies? Where? Grains? Medicinal fields? A hospital? A shopping mall? Spiritual spring water? Why don’t I see anything?”
