Time Travel with a Dimensional Space: The Slacker Girl Goes All Out Chapter 15

Chapter 15: Even He’s Not Afraid of Getting Diarrhea

Just as the atmosphere grew unbearably awkward, a wave of other youth boarded the train, giving everyone a reason to shift their focus. In the end, that little white lotus girl still managed to sit by the window. After all, there were always some tenderhearted, inexperienced types out there willing to take pity.

Song Jinxi knew the one who gave up the seat. He was the guy sitting opposite that fake-genteel one. She’d noticed him because—frankly—his “talent” was impossible to ignore. Ever since boarding, his mouth hadn’t stopped moving. In the span of ten minutes, he’d already devoured two cans of preserved food.

And he wasn’t even worried about getting diarrhea. Incredible.

While she was lost in thought, that very guy sat down right next to her.

When she snapped out of it, she noticed a gaze that was impossible to ignore. The chubby girl who had defended her earlier—she was still staring. The girl’s eyes kept lingering on her!

Well, to be fair… she had seen her own reflection before.

Her looks were stunning—though still youthful. An oval face framed by curved eyebrows, a petite yet high-bridged nose, a tiny cherry mouth, and lips tinged naturally red. Her skin was smooth and flawless, as if it would bruise at the slightest touch.

But the true centerpiece? Her eyes. Big, dark, and gleaming like fresh spring water.

Still, her personality wasn’t the cutesy type. The natural coldness in her eyes cut through the softness, giving her an air of cool confidence. It was a perfect blend of striking and detached—effortlessly dazzling. Combined with her tall frame and top-tier proportions, she had all the makings of a future super goddess.

And this was just the start—her features weren’t even fully developed yet. Once she grew into them, she’d be drop-dead gorgeous.

But still… getting stared at like this non-stop? Even with thick skin, she could only take so much!

Soon, everyone had taken their seats and the train was on the move. Then someone broke the silence:

“Hey everyone, I’m Xu Shixing. I’m 17, headed to Red Star Brigade in H County. I figured we might as well introduce ourselves, since we’re all in this together.”

“I’m Hua Wen. Also 17. Going to Red Star Brigade too—looks like we’re all headed the same way!”

“I’m Bai Xing, and this is my sister Bai Xi. I’m 17 and she’s 15. Same brigade—guess our seats were assigned with purpose!”

“Hi everyone! I’m Bai Xi!” she chimed in sweetly.

Even the little white flower girl piped up:
“I’m Chen Zhaodi… cough cough cough!

Meanwhile, Song Jinxi was mentally taking notes:

Xu Shixing – loud, rich, and completely lacking self-awareness.

Hua Wen – that fake-genteel white-face type.

Bai Xing and Bai Xi – real siblings.

Then came another:
“I’m Qian Feng, also headed to Red Star Brigade. I’m 18, probably the oldest here. My best buddy Tian Feng is already there—I’m joining him.”

Finally, it was Song Jinxi’s turn:
“I’m Song Jinxi, 8 years old. Red Star Brigade, H County.”

That’s right. Before heading off to the countryside, she had corrected her real age on the records.

“You’re so young! I thought I was the youngest. I’m Tang Tiantian, 10. You’re super tall—you don’t look 8 at all!”

“I-I’m Chen Yu. I’m 16…” she added shyly, sneaking a glance at Hua Wen when she thought no one was looking.

Song Jinxi noted to herself,
“Ah. A classic case of love at first sight?”

After the introductions, only Xu Shixing, Hua Wen, and Chen Yu kept the conversation going. Occasionally, the Bai siblings would toss in a comment.

The rest—Song Jinxi and Tang Tiantian included—just stayed quiet. No need to chime in.

Qian Feng, though, was a riot. Song Jinxi noticed him open his mouth a few times, only to get interrupted repeatedly. His face turned red from the effort of holding back!

The trip to L Province would take three days and two nights by train. Since it had departed late, no one pulled out their food until after 2 p.m.

This time, Xu Shixing toned down the showiness a bit—but not by much. He whipped out dumplings stuffed with green pepper and meat.
