Chapter 86 : Meeting an acquaintance

Before dawn the next day, Xu Fan and his elder brother arrived in an ox cart.

He also brought a clay pot of chicken soup and a dozen meat buns.

Gu Fangxun said helplessly, “You’re making chicken soup and meat buns. Didn’t you sleep last night? Were you busy all night?”

” I made this this morning. Your sister-in-law made the dumplings, and I cooked the chicken soup.”

What Xu Fan didn’t say was that he had severely beaten his wife when he got home last night.

He also told her that she would no longer be allowed to take care of household affairs in the future, that she could only work, and that the two children would have to learn how to cook.

The woman became obedient immediately after being beaten. When asked to kill chickens and make dumplings, she did it without even daring to complain.

After breakfast in the guesthouse, Gu Fangxun brought the two children with him, while Xu Fan helped him carry his luggage.

When Han Zhenyu and Li Shaohua arrived at Wenshan Locomotive Factory, it was just time to get off work.

Today, each of them drove a truck and waited until all the workers had left before handing the documents to the security staff.

After Li Shaohua left, Han Zhenyu took his lunch box and went to the cafeteria of the locomotive factory.

Seeing that there was a long queue inside, he turned around and walked out, preparing to go to the state-owned restaurant to buy two steamed buns.

Gu Fangxun got out of the car in a panic, carrying two children and two large bags of luggage.

Both children were carsick, but An An was better. She fell asleep soon after getting on the car, and vomited when she woke up halfway.

Chenchen vomited all the way, and now his shoulders and chest were covered with vomit.

Gu Fangxun immediately walked to the side of the road, put down the luggage, and then placed his sleeping niece on the bag.

It takes about two hours from here to Pingnan County, so they’d arrive around six or seven in the evening.
