When Wang Zhi returned to the residence, the others were still out and about. He went to a corner near the cabinet and took out the crystal core. Since Jie Xi had asked for it, he knew he had to hand it over. After all, this thing wouldn’t be of any use to him, and using the crystal core wasn’t as simple as he had imagined. Wang Zhi believed in Jie Xi and trusted that she wouldn’t harm them.

“Mu Ying wanted to buy some things on the first floor, and I got dragged into it as a pack mule,” Fatty said, placing all the bags on the table.

“Shampoo, body wash, skincare products, toothpaste, and various clothes… I don’t remember them all,” Fatty said, lying back on the sofa and rubbing his forehead.

Wang Zhi had almost forgotten that their hygiene supplies were running low.

“Hmm, I see you’re a fan of cleanliness, that’s good,” Wang Zhi nodded.

“These things cost over 1500 survival points!” Fatty whispered to Wang Zhi.

“Seriously?” Wang Zhi started to speak, but then noticed Su Mu Ying was still going through the things. He lowered his voice. “Is it really that expensive?”

“Yeah,” Fatty nodded.

Wang Zhi was stunned. These weren’t hygiene products, they were luxury goods!

“Hey! What are you two whispering about?” Su Mu Ying asked, seeing the two of them speaking secretly.

“Ah, nothing! Just appreciating how considerate Mu Ying is, thinking about our hygiene,” Wang Zhi smiled, trying to deflect.

“Pfft, this is for me and Liuli. What would you two big guys need it for?” Su Mu Ying said, casting a disdainful look.

Despite her words, she still bought hygiene products for Wang Zhi and the others.

“Here, you can use this,” Su Mu Ying said, tossing four bars of soap at them.

“No way, Mu Ying, you’re not planning on making us wash our hair with soap, are you?” Wang Zhi asked, a bit helpless.

“That’s multi-purpose soap. You can use it for your hair, face, body, and clothes!” Su Mu Ying glared at the two of them.

“Fatty! Next time she drags you shopping, just take her to get a manicure first!” Wang Zhi whispered to Fatty.

“A manicure? Why?” Fatty asked, confused.

“After the manicure, it’ll take at least an hour or two, and she won’t have the energy to shop around anymore!” Wang Zhi said with a sly grin.

“Clever!” Fatty gave Wang Zhi a thumbs-up.

“By the way, have you noticed we might be overlooking something?” Fatty suddenly said seriously.

“Overlook something?” Wang Zhi turned around, noticing Liuli sitting quietly nearby, staring at them with a blank expression.

Fatty followed Wang Zhi’s gaze and saw Liuli.

“Ah! Liuli, you’re here too? Haha, you heard nothing! This was all Wang Zhi’s idea, I had nothing to do with it, remember, nothing at all…” Fatty said quickly, bolting out of the room.

“Hehe, Liuli, we’ve got a pretty good relationship, right?” Wang Zhi said, flashing what he thought was a very friendly smile.

Liuli nodded.

“So, you didn’t hear anything, right?” Wang Zhi coaxed.

Liuli nodded again.

“Good… You’re bound for greatness in the future!” Wang Zhi nodded with satisfaction, then returned to his sketches.

A little while later, Duan He and the others returned, drenched in sweat after their training. Wang Zhi admired their discipline.

Seeing everyone was back, Wang Zhi called everyone to the living room.

“Alright, time for the meeting!” He stood up and sat properly on the sofa.

“Get on with it, we need to eat after this,” Su Mu Ying said casually from the back of the sofa.
