Chapter 8
In the hot spring surrounded by white steam, two people stood close together, their figures partially hidden. The taller one bent over and lowered his head, burying it in the shorter one’s neck.
The surroundings were so quiet that only the sound of waves could be heard. The hot air floated to Xue Ming’s face, instantly reddening it, along with her neck and ears, as if she were placed above a steamer.
Yu He bit down, but the force was not strong. His hard teeth held the soft flesh on her neck, sometimes applying pressure and sometimes being gentle. He seemed to treat this as a form of play. After biting a few times, he licked it with his tongue as if tasting food. Because he was very measured in his strength, he moved gently and slowly on her neck, adding a lot of ambiguity to it, giving Xue Ming the illusion of kissing and flirting. However, his body had no warmth, and the flesh on her neck was extremely sensitive. Wherever he touched, it felt cold, much like a sponge after being refrigerated.
Xue Ming’s whole body was extremely stiff. In addition to the fear in her heart, she also felt a strong sense of discomfort. Although this ghost was indeed good-looking, her transaction with him was only to transfer yang energy, not to involve other things. However, she did not expect that he would expand it. This excessive intimacy made her feel uneasy and always afraid.
Yu He did not care about her stiff body and only nibbled and bit her neck. After tossing for a while, the skin initially printed with a circle of teeth marks was covered with red marks. Those marks overlapped, which was particularly conspicuous on the white skin, easily covering the marks left by the female ghost. He seemed to be somewhat satisfied. His palm went up along Xue Ming’s waist and stopped at the tightly wrapped chest. Then, he used his strong arms to pick her up easily.
Xue Ming was frightened by this sudden move and instinctively let out a low cry. Then she felt her heart tighten. She looked down and found that a strong arm was across her body.
When Yu He wore his robe, one could only see his tall and slender figure without anything noticeable. At this moment, the wide sleeves slipped down, revealing half of his arm. Then, one could see he was not delicate; his arm was that of an adult man, pale as snow, with strikingly dark nails resting on her collarbone. This was the kind of texture that only someone who had practiced martial arts for many years would have. It did not have overly conspicuous muscles but contained extremely vigorous strength, different from what was built in a gym.
However, Xue Ming did not understand these things. She stared at the ghostly hand pressing on her chest and swallowed hard. Then, like a little chick, Yu He easily turned her over.
Finally, she could see Yu He’s face. He was much taller than Xue Ming and now lowered his head as if condescending. His ink-black eyes seemed washed by the hot mist, appearing even clearer and beautiful. But his eyes carried a playful emotion, making it impossible to discern his feelings from any detail of his expression. His cold fingers slid down her cheek, his finger brushing over her lips. Seeing the wound on her lip, he mischievously pressed on it.
However, this pain was minor for Xue Ming. She instinctively pursed her lips, accidentally drawing Yu He’s finger into her mouth. His eyes darkened, and his previously calm, unruffled gaze stirred and suddenly became cloudy.
Xue Ming keenly noticed the change in his aura, like a precursor to an attack. She quickly spat out his finger and tensed her back.
Yu He finally spoke, saying his first words since seeing her tonight, “How many sips today?”
Although he spoke little, his voice was delightful to hear. Listening to it might give the impression that “this must be a good person.”
Xue Ming thought: this male ghost is so kind, he even negotiates with her. She looked up, made a delicate appearance, and softly said, “How about just one sip? The yang energy you took from me yesterday doesn’t seem to have recovered yet…”
Yu He raised an eyebrow, “Recovering so slowly?”
Xue Ming made up an excuse, “My health has never been good, and the heavy ghostly aura in this place affects me inevitably.”
Yu He asked calmly, “If I drain your yang energy today and it doesn’t recover by tomorrow, and you escape and come to my door again, should I save you or not?”
“Of course, you should save me!” Xue Ming said anxiously. “Lord Yu He, don’t worry. My yang energy will never be exhausted. Do you know my nickname? My nickname is ‘Shuanzi,’ which means I’m very easy to raise. As long as I get a good night’s sleep and a full meal, my yang energy will come back immediately!”
Yu He, interested, asked, “Since when did Yan Chixia have such a nickname?”
Xue Ming was stunned, “You knew me before?”
Yu He replied, “I’ve heard your name.”
Xue Ming thought to herself: this is awkward. It turned out Yan Chixia’s reputation wasn’t small in this world. Even this powerful ghost has heard of her. But she didn’t know what the rumors about Yan Chixia were. It seemed she couldn’t make things up on the spot. If she gets caught, it would be bad. Her eyes darted around, looking at the surface of the hot pool. Yu He didn’t rush her and fixed his gaze on her face, taking in her guilty expression.
She thought of an excuse and met Yu He’s gaze, feeling trapped. She stammered, “N-not many people know my nickname, and I’m in trouble now, so I have to do this. Normally, I wouldn’t trade my yang energy…”
The more she spoke, the more she felt that her words were wrong and that they sounded like she was threatening, so her voice became smaller and smaller. The hot and humid mist condensed into water droplets hanging on her butterfly-wing eyelashes, and with the trembling of her eyelashes, it seemed they were about to fall off. Below was a face dyed with red clouds like a sunset glow; it was gorgeous. Her emotions fluctuated greatly, so her heartbeat was violent, her breathing was deep, and her chest rose and fell obviously.
Yu He’s arms bound her lower back. Due to the huge difference in strength, he easily controlled Xue Ming’s body, drawing endless warmth from her and feeling the reaction brought by her lively body.
Xue Ming seemed to say something to make up for it, but Yu He had no intention of continuing to listen. He took her to sway in the spring water for a while, pressed her back against the pool’s edge, and lowered his head to kiss her.
In stark contrast to his calm demeanor, Yu He’s kiss was very aggressive. His teeth bit Xue Ming’s lips without knowing how hard he was biting, as if he was deliberately targeting the wound left from yesterday. The pain made Xue Ming instinctively shrink back. However, the back of her head was against the pool wall, leaving her with no way to retreat. She was trapped in Yu He’s arms and could not resist.
Yu He easily pried open her teeth, rolled his tongue in, and began to plunder unscrupulously. At this moment, Xue Ming tasted a hint of sweetness on the tip of his tongue, as if he had just eaten some fruit. He hooked it on the tip of her tongue, filling her mouth with sweetness.
How fresh! Can ghosts eat, too?
Xue Ming thought these ghosts only consumed yang energy or incense.
Xue Ming was distracted for a moment but was quickly brought back to attention by the hands wandering over her body. Although Yu He had no body temperature, his hands were strong, and his presence was intense. Xue Ming’s flesh was so soft that just a casual pinch from him provoked an awkward reaction from her. This was very interesting to Yu He, so Xue Ming’s body was pinched with red fingerprints, sometimes like the force of massage, sometimes like gentle comfort. Under such a series of attacks, Xue Ming’s body soon became soft bones. The hot spring water made her temperature rise rapidly. Her head was hot and dizzy, her legs were weak, and she couldn’t stand, so she kept sliding down.
Yu He bound her and fixed her in front of him, demanding her wildly. His long hair fell on Xue Ming’s body, covering most of her body and the hands that were messing with her.
Xue Ming kept swallowing the saliva mixed with the two of them, feeling that her body’s strength was being drained. Her breathing was so rapid that it was completely messed up, and she tried to stop Yu He. However, her tongue was entangled when she pushed and refused, and she didn’t have enough strength to hold his hand. She felt like she had become a sheep pressed on a chopping board. Although she struggled hard, she was still pressed tightly and couldn’t break free.
The steaming mist filled the room, covering the two people’s figures who were close together in the blur.
Xue Ming heard the gurgling sound of the running water, the ambiguous sound of lips and teeth grinding against each other, and tongues entwined. Until she began to suffocate, she began to fear that Yu He had sucked too much of her yang energy, and she made a “woooooo” protest in her throat and scraped his tongue with her teeth. She didn’t dare to bite hard for fear of angering this dead pervert.
Fortunately, Yu He didn’t continue embarrassing her and soon released her lips. Her lips were bitten and dripping with water, with slight redness and swelling. Her eyes were also stained with wetness, making them look like glass beads, and there was a faint resentment that she dared not show. She looked like a pitiful person who had been bullied.
Xue Ming was breathing rapidly, gasping for breath, and her heartbeat was beating like crazy as if she had just run a few hundred meters. She was so scared. She almost thought she was going to be eaten!
Xue Ming kept licking her lips to alleviate the discomfort from earlier. Her lips were now red as blood, making the mole on her nose even more striking. Of course, she didn’t dare say anything. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Yu He casually throw something away before stepping up the stairs to the shore.
The sound of water splashing echoed as the water from Yu He’s robe dripped down the shore and into the hot spring pool. He shook his sleeves and casually shook his outer garment twice. Then, the moisture on his body evaporated rapidly, and soon, his clothes and hair were dry again.
Xue Ming watched in astonishment, her almond-shaped eyes wide open in disbelief. If she had met him anywhere else but this ghostly place, Xue Ming would have knelt and called him a divine lord on the spot.
How could this demeanor have any trace of a ghost?
After drying off, Yu He turned his head, his beautiful eyes sweeping over her bewildered and surprised face, and said, “Don’t wear unnecessary things.”
After making such an unclear remark, he stepped away, his figure quickly disappearing into the swirling white mist.
Xue Ming pondered over his words for a while, unable to understand their meaning. When she turned her head, she saw a piece of white silk floating on the water, which Yu He had casually thrown away before stepping ashore. She stretched out her arm to retrieve it and found that it was the chest wrap that she had initially worn!
Xue Ming immediately looked down to check and found her clothes open, her chest bare with nothing on it. The wet clothes clung to her body; though they covered her modesty, they also outlined her figure very clearly. That damned pervert had somehow removed her chest wrap without her noticing and disdainfully tossed it aside.
Xue Ming, holding the chest wrap cloth in shame and anger, her face flushed red, cursed him in her heart but could only mutter, “Impressive.”
