Transmigrated as the Villainous Supporting Actress, I Became the Little Housekeeper of a Boy Band Chapter 15

Chapter 15: Unable to Let Her Go

Liu Huahua looked at Song Yu with a disdainful gaze. The butler had warned her both openly and subtly; although she felt annoyed inside, she no longer had any intention of intimidating others.

Compared to Song Yu, she wanted Liu Xiaozhi gone even more. As for Tang Tian… she was nothing more than a harmless decoration.

Tang Tian and Song Yu seemed to be getting along very well, which was quite unbearable in Liu Xiaozhi’s eyes. She hoped everyone in the villa would isolate Tang Tian.

While Song Yu was washing the dishes, Liu Xiaozhi approached her.

“Congratulations on receiving the bonus,” Liu Xiaozhi said with a seemingly understanding smile, no different from her usual demeanor.

Song Yu, still washing the dishes, turned her head to see Liu Xiaozhi smiling gently at her.

The cold indifference from yesterday seemed like a completely different person. Song Yu’s experience was limited, but her intuition told her that Liu Xiaozhi was not someone to trust.

“Thank you,” Song Yu smiled back and continued washing the dishes.

“You’ve only just arrived and don’t know many things yet. I advise you not to get too close to Tang Tian.”

Song Yu stopped washing the dishes entirely, her eyes filled with confusion. “Why?”

Liu Xiaozhi just shook her head with a smile. “Stay away from her, and you’ll thank me later.” She was confident in this “prediction,” as if Song Yu would be dragged down if she didn’t heed the warning.

Song Yu didn’t believe it. Hearing rumors wasn’t reliable, and even seeing with one’s own eyes could be deceiving. But judging by how Tang Tian helped her just yesterday, it was enough to prove she was a kind person.

Seeing Song Yu’s obvious disbelief, Liu Xiaozhi continued smiling, “If you want to know what Tang Tian did before, come outside with me tonight to talk. This isn’t the place to discuss it.”

Song Yu was curious to hear what the matter was and readily agreed.

In Liu Xiaozhi’s eyes flickered a sense of triumph as she quietly glanced toward Tang Tian, who was still slowly eating breakfast.

The gentlemen hadn’t gotten up so early yet, so Tang Tian took her time eating—she knew eating too fast was bad for her stomach.

From initially feeling out of place to gradually becoming accustomed to the people and environment in the villa, although her resolve to leave once the contract ended remained firm, she was no longer as anxious and uneasy as when she first arrived.

She constantly reminded herself to keep a low profile, all so that once the contract expired, she could safely slip away. As long as she left the side of the male and female leads, it meant she could also escape the original story’s fate as the book’s expendable, malicious supporting female character.

Half an hour later, Tang Tian stood behind Wen Shaohan, ready at any moment to pour him milk or serve his meal.

Pei Jue and Fu Xi were already eating, while the seat opposite Wen Shaohan remained empty—that was Shen Yanli’s seat.

Tang Tian glanced at the warm milk and breakfast across the table. At that moment, Wen Shaohan finished the milk on the table in one gulp, and she slowly poured him another glass.

A few minutes later, Shen Yanli’s graceful and cool figure entered the dining room, his eyes carrying a hint of weariness as if he hadn’t slept well the previous night.

Liu Xiaozhi gently pulled out his chair. “Good morning, Mr. Shen.”

Shen Yanli nodded absentmindedly and sat down at the dining chair, his gaze falling on Tang Tian standing across from him.

She wore her usual work uniform, her stunningly beautiful face free of makeup, her skin smooth and radiant, as if she herself was glowing.

Shen Yanli lifted his eyelids to stare at her for a moment. In his dream last night… he had dreamt of tossing and turning her over, her torn work uniform quietly lying on the floor.

In the dream, her skin was so tender and soft that his hand could sink into it with just a touch… making her utterly irresistible.

Tang Tian’s attention remained focused on Wen Shaohan, ready to perceive his “needs” at any moment.

Meanwhile, Fu Xi noticed the way Shen Yanli was looking at Tang Tian. Assuming Tang Tian had done something to seduce Shen Yanli again, he cast an inquisitive, almost amused glance at Tang Tian, who was being closely watched by Shen Yanli.

But Tang Tian’s attention was entirely on Wen Shaohan; she didn’t even glance once at Shen Yanli sitting across from her.

Fu Xi was stunned, then watched with growing surprise. Tang Tian’s demeanor was natural and unforced—there was no hint of playing hard to get.

Fu Xi took a sip of his milk, a teasing smile curling at the corner of his lips. This was getting interesting…

“Mr. Shen, the breakfast will get cold soon,” Liu Xiaozhi whispered, reminding Shen Yanli.

Only then did Shen Yanli withdraw his dark, intense gaze and slowly raise his hand to start eating.

Liu Xiaozhi looked toward Tang Tian sitting directly opposite her. Just now… Shen Yanli had stared at Tang Tian for a long time, an unprecedented sense of threat flickering in his eyes, making Liu Xiaozhi’s face turn very unpleasant. Why had he been staring at Tang Tian so intently?

What exactly happened between Shen Yanli and Tang Tian in the glass room? Liu Xiaozhi now deeply regretted the scheme to lock Tang Tian inside the glass room—she had not only lost face but also lost the game.

Wen Shaohan leisurely finished his breakfast. “Take your time.”

Fu Xi nodded and asked, “There’s no event today. Are you going to the Wen residence?”

Wen Shaohan placed the wiped napkin by the table. “No, I’m going upstairs to compose.”

Fu Xi understood. “Alright then, we won’t disturb you today.”

Wen Shaohan stood up and left the table. After a few steps, he paused, turned slightly, and instructed Tang Tian, “Bring a snack tray to my room later.”

Tang Tian, like a well-oiled machine, showed no change in expression. “Understood, Mr. Wen.”

She didn’t smile, avoiding giving the impression that she was trying to seduce anyone.

Tang Tian kept her eyes straight ahead as she prepared to leave the dining room, only to meet Fu Xi’s teasing gaze, which left her feeling somewhat speechless.

Fu Xi was probably imagining some dramatic scene, thinking she was playing hard to get again.

Tang Tian was too lazy to pay him any mind. After Wen Shaohan left the dining room, she followed shortly after, wanting to keep a certain distance from these few young masters.

Fu Xi, seeing the show was over, turned to the silent Pei Jue and asked, “President Pei, is Pei Corporation working today?”

Pei Jue didn’t lift his eyes. “Yes.”

Fu Xi silently admired him — no wonder Pei Corporation had become one of the top players in the business world. With a workaholic like President Pei, it was no surprise that the company had risen to the top.

At this moment, Shen Yanli wiped his hands with a warm towel. When he lifted his gaze, it landed on Tang Tian’s back, his eyes dark and unreadable.

Liu Xiaozhi still wore a gentle smile on the surface, but beneath it, she was gripping the tray in her hands tightly with anger. Sooner or later, she would drive Tang Tian out of the villa, cutting off any chance Tang Tian had to seduce Shen Yanli.

After leaving the dining room, Tang Tian didn’t notice Shen Yanli watching her with an eerie gaze.

She continued busily with her remaining tasks. About an hour later, she carried a snack tray into Wen Shaohan’s room. Hearing Wen Shaohan say, “Come in,” she entered as quietly as possible, aiming to be completely silent so as not to disturb his composing.

She was so careful that even closing the door made almost no sound. Wen Shaohan noticed this and looked at the closed door with a faint smile, his opinion of her improving slightly.

After delivering the tray to Wen Shaohan upstairs, Tang Tian went back down to the first floor. The butler called her over, saying there were instructions for her and Liu Huahua.

“Early this morning, Mr. Fu wanted to go swimming. Who was watching over him?”

Tang Tian didn’t respond. She had no intention of getting involved. Not to mention wanting to keep a good distance from the corners, with Fu Xi’s annoying attitude, she wished she could stay as far away as possible.
