‘Transmigrated Directly to the Possessive Male Lead and Make Him Fall Harder to me Chapter 9

Chapter 9  –  People Without Wives Just Complain

Qin Mohuai’s face was pale and cold, his elegant blue hair complementing his noble and unmatched demeanor. The corner of his eyes, tinged with a sinister red due to his anger, made him look menacing.

What a petty man.

Getting angry over such a trivial matter.

Who is he trying to scare?

Xia Yuan was indeed a bit scared. 🙂

( In the novel, the crazy male lead only demanded that the female lead stay by his side. No matter what she did, it was fine, as long as she didn’t run away. But the female lead yearned for freedom, so the plot was filled with constant heart-wrenching back and forth. )

Xia Yuan thought that by staying by Qin Mohuai’s side and satisfying his twisted possessiveness, she could act as freely as the female lead.

But who would have thought Qin Mohuai would be so petty?

Double standards?

Xia Yuan sighed, realizing she didn’t have the luck of a female lead.

“Honey~ I only love your abs, firm and sexy, springy when they’re relaxed. I can’t get enough, even in death.”

Qin Mohuai’s thin lips curled slightly; he was successfully flattered.

Xia Yuan sighed in relief. After returning to Sheng Hai, she started catching up on sleep. After all, she had only recently recovered from her illness, and her body was still a bit weak.

When she woke up, Qin Mohuai was no longer by her side. She found herself in clean underwear and a nightgown.

That scheming man pretended not to be jealous, but once they were in bed, he tormented her thoroughly. He whispered dirty words to her while maintaining a dignified facade, even patting her small backside with a light scold: “Little tease.”

Xia Yuan thought that sooner or later, she would end up with kidney failure and a sore waist. She changed her clothes and left the bedroom, curling up in the second-floor lounge to work on her thesis.

The large bean bag sofa swallowed her petite figure, making her almost invisible from behind.

The quiet space was filled only with the sound of her typing. Fortunately, as a Chinese literature major, she had experience writing essays. However, she couldn’t simply copy her previous work since the topics were different.

Xia Yuan worked intermittently, occasionally pausing to look up references. A maid brought her some snacks and fruit.

She casually asked, “Where’s Qin Mohuai?”

Maid: “Master Qin and Dr. Yang are in the gym. There are many guests at home today, and they found it noisy.”

Qin Mohuai was unpredictable, just like when he heard that Xia Yuan liked blue hair—he dyed his hair blue the next day, doing whatever he pleased, untamable and rebellious.

When he was in a good mood, he often hosted parties at home, allowing his friends to do as they wished. But when he was in a bad mood, he wouldn’t meet guests for months.

Xia Yuan’s mind stirred. “Were there any young girls, about my age, who look much younger than Qin Mohuai and are clearly not part of his usual crowd?”

The maid smiled, “There are indeed a few very young girls here today. They’re friends that Dr. Yang’s sister brought over to play.”

As she spoke, the maid covered Xia Yuan with a blanket that had slipped. Oh my, the fair skin around Miss Xia’s ankle showed several bruising finger marks, an alarming display of some possessive man’s wild tendencies.

Master Qin really didn’t know how to be gentle with women.

Xia Yuan thought to herself that the storyline in the original novel was progressing ahead of schedule.

In the original plot, Qin Mohuai imprisoned Ouyang Jing, and her mental state deteriorated. She couldn’t eat for several days, so Qin Mohuai called in Yang Yi to help figure out a solution.

Coincidentally, Yang Yi’s sister had brought over some young people to play, all around Ouyang Jing’s age. Qin Mohuai ordered them to spend time with Ouyang Jing, hoping to cheer her up.

The events that followed took a twisted turn.

Ouyang Jing hadn’t interacted with her peers for a long time. One of them was even a former classmate of hers, and they hit it off right away, bringing a smile to her pale, expressionless face.

But while in the bathroom, Ouyang Jing overheard two girls gossiping, “President Qin made a bet that he’d be in a relationship within three months. Who would’ve thought he’d actually find a girlfriend…”

Ouyang Jing discovered the real reason she was being held captive—it was because of a ridiculous bet. She demanded Qin Mohuai let her go, saying she couldn’t be part of his game.

She couldn’t afford to play his twisted game.

Qin Mohuai flew into a rage and ordered the bodyguards to detain the group of young people. He declared that whoever admitted to spreading the rumor would be punished, while the rest would be allowed to leave. No one dared to confess.

“If no one will admit it, then I’ll just have to cut off all your tongues.”

Ouyang Jing called him a madman, saying he was breaking the law.

Yang Yi’s sister was terrified and begged her brother to intervene. Yang Yi pleaded, but it was to no avail.

In the end, Qin Mohuai checked the surveillance footage, identified the girls responsible for spreading the rumor, and let the others go.

The two girls left behind trembled in fear. Qin Mohuai promised Ouyang Jing he wouldn’t harm them, but once she left, he had their tongues cut off.

Yang Yi, thinking Ouyang Jing was a “troublemaker,” urged Qin Mohuai to release her. But, of course, Qin Mohuai refused, and their friendship ended as a result.

Qin Mohuai was willing to throw away a twenty-year friendship for a woman.

Xia Yuan couldn’t understand this pathological love, but it left a deep impression on her.

Back then, the comment section was divided into three groups.

One group praised the male lead’s deep affection.

Another cursed Ouyang Jing, saying she was crazy and that while the girls were gossipy, they didn’t deserve such a punishment. She knew what kind of man Qin Mohuai was, yet she still decided to confront him.

The third group pitied Yang Yi, feeling it was unfair that a twenty-seven-year friendship was ruined by a couple of crazies.

Xia Yuan closed her laptop and put on her shoes to go find Qin Mohuai.

When she first read this part of the story, she was furious. Didn’t a twenty-seven-year friendship hold more value than this distorted love?

This time, she would change the outcome of their falling out. Maybe, just maybe, she could even score some affection points with Qin Mohuai…

Qin Mohuai was in the gym, drenched in sweat. As he caught sight of Xia Yuan from the corner of his eye, he casually lifted his shirt to wipe his face, revealing his sexy abs and a peek of his firm chest muscles.

Yang Yi teased, “You’re such a show-off~”

Qin Mohuai snorted lightly, “Only people without a wife would be jealous.”

Yang Yi: “…” You’re just spitting venom now, huh?

Xia Yuan chimed in, “There are guests at home today, it’s quite lively. I was thinking of joining them for a game of golf.”

Qin Mohuai replied, “You’re still not fully recovered. Rest for a few more days.”

Xia Yuan massaged her slightly sore waist. “Alright, then let’s sleep in separate beds tonight. I need a good rest.”

She stood at the stairs, the soft spring sunlight casting a gentle glow on her peaceful face. Her eyes held a delicate charm, like an ethereal treasure gifted by the heavens.

Qin Mohuai had no choice but to agree to let her join the others, unaware that he was falling right into the little fox’s trap.
