‘Transmigrated Directly to the Possessive Male Lead and Make Him Fall Harder to me Chapter 19

Chapter 19: Woke Up in a Fury, Is the Madman Kicking Me Out?!

The next morning, Xia Yuan woke up with a slight pain in her lower abdomen. She rushed to the bathroom and saw that her period had started.

Shirt missing, Qin Mohuai stood outside the door in just a pair of gray sleep pants, his deep, sleepy voice knocking softly, “Baby, I need to pee. I can’t hold it anymore.”

For crying out loud.

Are men really this fixated on bodily functions?

At first, Xia Yuan had envied Qin Mohuai for being tall, handsome, and rich. Now, she only envied him for his perfect, daily bathroom routine.

Who truly understands the value of “regularity”?

Feeling weak, Xia Yuan opened the door, one hand holding her abdomen.

“Go ahead.”

“I don’t need to anymore,” Qin Mohuai teased, stealing a kiss on her cheek with a mischievous glint in his eye. “It’s your period, isn’t it?”

“Mm-hmm.”

He kissed her again, lightly patting her back. “You’re such a trooper.”

Leaning into his embrace, her soft body pressed against his, and her heart began to race. Who would’ve thought getting your period could earn you such tenderness? Sometimes, Qin Mohuai was really thoughtful.

So was he being considerate of his wife, or of her specifically?

Tsk.

She was starting to become as sensitive as Qin Mohuai. Maybe spending too much time around him was rubbing off on her.

If this mission doesn’t end soon, she feared she might fall too deeply into the demon’s lair, and can’t return to her true world.

Qin Mohuai, there are times when he wasn’t acting insane, she felt like he is really attractive. As Xia Yuan traced her hand over his chiseled abs, she mused on how easy it was to be drawn to him.

Feeling unwell, Xia Yuan spent the next few days resting at house. She didn’t even touch the piano she practiced daily, nor did she think about her mission.

In the end, it was Qin Mohuai who hand-washed the blood-stained lace panties she wore because he had carefully picked them out for her the night before.

He even gave the sexy, artsy pair a name.

Xia Yuan’s face flushed with embarrassment. She wanted to crack open Qin Mohuai’s mind to see if he had a dedicated mental compartment just for his wild fantasies.

After a few leisurely days, the system suddenly sounded the alarm.

“National Day is coming up! You only have two months left! Please complete your mission, or face dire consequences!”

Startled, Xia Yuan bolted upright from her sickbed. Her affection points had been stuck at 88 for days, not moving an inch. She figured that using physical attraction wouldn’t work anymore; she had to connect on an emotional level.

Recently, Qin Mohuai had been lamenting that he couldn’t feel her love. If she could make him feel it, she’d surely gain a lot of affection points.

While Xia Yuan was contemplating a grand gesture to move Qin Mohuai, he was planning to send her away that evening.

Qin Mohuai woke up early that day. After getting dressed, he leaned down and whispered into Xia Yuan’s delicate ear, “Baby, come to the office with me today? I miss you so much. Stay with me all day, okay?”

“Sure… I guess.” Xia Yuan hesitated, her eyes reflecting a “you leave me no choice” look, perfectly in line with her persona of being a spoiled and slightly cowardly girl.

But what could she do to make Qin Mohuai feel her love?

Maybe she could cook him kung pao chicken again?

Last time, she earned five affection points from that!

The system couldn’t help but ask, “Are you really unwilling to learn a new dish?”

Xia Yuan confidently retorted, “Qin Mohuai said a girl’s hands are for playing the piano, not doing chores! You should learn from him, you chauvinistic system!”

The system was so furious that it started buzzing and crackling with static.

At Qin Corporation, the private elevator led directly to the CEO’s office.

Secretary Cao lit up when he saw Xia Yuan, greeting her warmly, “It’s been a while, Miss Xia! You seem to have grown taller!”

He didn’t dare compliment her beauty in front of Qin Mohuai of jealousy. As a well-paid secretary, he had enough emotional intelligence for that.

In return, Xia Yuan complimented Secretary Cao’s carefully maintained hairline.

For a moment, the elevator was filled with cheerful laughter.

Qin Mohuai suddenly realized that his wife hadn’t complimented him today. His elegant fingers lightly scratched her palm, and he asked, “What about me?”

Xia Yuan reacted quickly, gazing at him earnestly. “Your hair looks amazing today, such a mysterious and abstinent shade of gray-blue. From the moment you got out of bed, I’ve complimented it a hundred times in my head!”

Her sweet and charming words successfully lured the madman into a gleeful mood.

Secretary Cao was stunned.

Could flattery be said like this?

Noted!

After handing over all the meeting materials, Secretary Cao left the CEO’s office and immediately texted his wife.

“[Yun Yun, that red dress you wore when you left today was stunning. I’ve been secretly admiring it all day but was too shy to say it.]”

It wasn’t until after finishing a meeting that he received his wife’s reply.

“[Did you take a secret class? Fine, since you’ve finally come around, let’s go buy that Porsche Cayenne you’ve been eyeing this weekend.]”

Secretary Cao was moved to tears, but quickly snapped out of it when he saw Ouyang Jing walking toward him.

“Miss Ouyang, how… did you get here?”

This was the top floor, and regular employees couldn’t come up without permission, let alone an outsider like Ouyang Jing.

Ouyang Jing explained, “Grandpa Qin said I could come and go freely at Qin Corporation.”

After saying that, she realized it sounded a bit like boasting and added, “I came here today to talk to Mr. Qin about something important. He dealt with Huang Tao at the Tianxi Club, and now Huang Tao’s holding a grudge against me since he can’t retaliate against Mr. Qin.”

Hearing it he guess it was a serious matter, Secretary Cao called the CEO’s office.

“Mr. Qin, Miss Ouyang is here. She’d like to talk to you about the Huang Tao situation. Do you have time?”

Qin Mohuai was about to refuse—his time was precious, and he didn’t entertain just anyone—but he glanced at the direction of the resting area and instructed Secretary Cao to bring her in.

Ouyang Jing entered the office, holding the cup of water Secretary Cao gave her, and waited for about ten minutes. Qin Mohuai remained focused on his work, not saying a word. She was here to ask for help, so she didn’t dare interrupt.

When he heard movement from the resting area, Qin Mohuai stood up and brewed a pot of coffee.

His suit jacket hung neatly on the rack, and his cold, pale sleeves were rolled up, revealing his long and firm forearms. His every move was captivating.

Qin Mohuai poured Ouyang Jing a cup of coffee.

“Thank you,” she said.

“You’re welcome,” Qin Mohuai replied. “I’ll handle Huang Tao’s retaliation against Ouyang Corporation. This isn’t your fault, and you shouldn’t have to bear the consequences.”

Secretary Cao was astonished.

Qin Mohuai was known for being cold and ruthless, not the kind of person to help out easily. Many had begged him for favors only to be ignored. Now, he was openly offering to deal with Huang Tao on Ouyang Jing’s behalf—could this mean he recognized her as his future wife, supporting her in that role?

But what about Miss Xia? Could such a delicate and sweet girl handle the heartbreak?

At that moment, the door to the resting area opened, and Qin Mohuai’s expression shifted into a sly, dark smile.

Ouyang Jing blinked, thinking she must have imagined it.

Why was he smiling like that?

Xia Yuan saw the scene in front of her and thought she was hallucinating.

What was going on? Did they fast-forward the plot while she was asleep?

Despite her social anxiety, Xia Yuan’s sharp senses dulled as she turned her back to them, plopped down on the nearby sofa, and casually turned on Peppa Pig—a mysterious and incomprehensible behavior.

Qin Mohuai’s eyes softened, his grin widening. His jealous little sweetheart was so adorable, he wanted to rush over and kiss her silly.

Ouyang Jing caught a whiff of his deep, woodsy cologne and was about to ask what fragrance he was wearing when she heard him say, “It’s time for you to leave.”

With a polite smile, she followed Secretary Cao out of the office. Perhaps it was time for her to find a boyfriend. Being involved with someone like Qin Mohuai—whether loving or being loved by him—was a misfortune.

Qin Mohuai suddenly grab her chin and kissing her aggressively, nearly knocking her out on the sofa.

Fuming, Xia Yuan cursed him out of frustration, calling him a bad dog!

Qin Mohuai… only grew more excited.

Pinning her tightly with a firm grip on her waist, making sure she couldn’t move, he marveled at how cute his jealous wife was. Even her temper tantrums were adorable.

In his manic excitement, the madman buried his face in her neck, tears welling up in his red eyes as he whispered eerie sweet nothings, saying he wanted to devour her whole.

Though he couldn’t bear to send her away, the thought of sinking into hell with her was alluring. But this was the precious little darling he’d used all his luck to win; he didn’t want her to suffer.

“You should go.” he whisper in her ear while kissing her, realizing about his behavior everytime the death anniversary of his parents come.

“huhhh?!” Xia Yuan replied.
