After finishing the drawing, Yu Sheng carefully placed it in between the pages of her book.
She glanced at the time and realized it had already become afternoon. She had been so absorbed in her drawing that she hadn’t noticed the passing of time.
When she set down the pencil, she suddenly felt a bit hungry.
Thinking this, Yu Sheng stretched, went to the bathroom, washed her face, and then got ready to head downstairs to find something to eat.
As soon as she opened the door, she saw Shi Ya standing at the entrance.
Shi Ya relaxed when she saw the door open.
“Miss, you’re finally out. I knocked earlier, but you didn’t respond at all?” Shi Ya said worriedly.
“Mm, I was busy,” Yu Sheng replied. She knew that whenever she was drawing, she completely shut out the outside world, immersing herself in her own thoughts. She told Shi Ya, “Don’t worry, I’ll come out when I’m hungry.”
Shi Ya: “…”
“Did you need something?”
“Miss, I just wanted to ask what you’d like for lunch?”
Yu Sheng thought for a moment and said, “Just let Aunt Lin make a few dishes. I won’t go downstairs, just bring the food up to me.”
After saying that, Yu Sheng returned to her room to continue working. In her previous life, when she got busy, she didn’t even have time to eat, but now that she had privileges, she decided to enjoy them.
Shi Ya opened her mouth, looked at the door that had just closed again, and muttered a “Good.”
…………….
Royal KTV.
Room 1020.
When Yu Wei arrived, there were already more than ten young men and women sitting inside. The music was loud, the lights dim and enchanting, and there were empty beer bottles scattered around and cigarette butts all over the floor. The entire room reeked of the indulgent scent of money and hedonism.
She frowned ever so slightly.
At that moment, Yu Wei’s best friend, Zhang Shi Yu, quickly stood up and waved at her, “Wei Wei, over here.”
Yu Wei carefully navigated around a few people sitting on the outside of the couch and sat next to Zhang Shi Yu.
After sitting down, she couldn’t help but glance at the boys and girls around her, noticing that most of them were unfamiliar faces. She tilted her head, curious, and asked her best friend, “Why did you suddenly call me out like this?”
She had received a message from Zhang Shi Yu while on her way home. After giving the name of the KTV and room number, Zhang Shi Yu had simply told her to hurry up and come, saying nothing more.
After repeated inquiries from Yu Wei, Zhang Shi Yu had reluctantly revealed a little more, saying there was a surprise waiting for her.
But, a surprise?
Where was it?
She hadn’t noticed anything yet.
Zhang Shi Yu couldn’t help but wink at her mischievously, then slightly turned her body to reveal someone behind her.
Because the person had been hidden in the corner earlier, Yu Wei hadn’t noticed him at first.
Yu Wei couldn’t help but frown. What on earth was Zhang Shi Yu doing today?
The boy grinned and moved closer, and just as the room’s dim light hit his face, Yu Wei finally got a clear look at him.
The boy in front of her appeared to be around her age, good-looking, with two cute dimples when he smiled. However, looks and age weren’t the focus here—the key point was, he was from the Ling family.
And the Ling family had deep ties with the Shen family.
“Hey, are you Yu Wei?” The boy greeted her with a big smile and eyes shining with excitement.
A sense of doubt passed through Yu Wei’s mind. She knew this boy, but he didn’t seem to know her.
The upper class of Hua Country was a world that the Yu family had never been able to integrate into, and the Ling family was part of that circle, just like the Shen family. She had never interacted with Ling Che before.
So what exactly was going on now?
Yu Wei nodded slightly, “I am…”
At the moment Yu Wei confirmed, Ling Che became excited. He stuttered in his enthusiasm, “Ah, you’re Yu Wei! You’re Yu Wei! Hello, hello, I’m Ling Che.”
Although Yu Wei was still somewhat unclear about the situation, seeing how the boy acted, it was obvious he liked her. She smiled gently and said, “Hello.”
Ling Che thought for a moment and added, “My brothers all call me Xiao San, because I’m the third in my family. You can call me that too.”
“Okay.” Since he had shared his nickname, it seemed like he really wanted her to join his circle.
With that thought, the smile on Yu Wei’s face became even more genuine.
Ling Che looked at her smile, completely stunned by the unexpected joy.
Although his friend Shi Nan had told him that Yu Wei was a goddess and would definitely be beautiful, he had still held some reservations before meeting her. After all, many so-called “goddesses” weren’t quite as stunning once you saw them in person, especially without makeup. After all, photo editing and beauty filters had created many “goddesses.”
But now that he saw her in person, he knew Shi Nan hadn’t exaggerated at all—this girl really was goddess-level!
Despite the fact that she was bare-faced, her beauty was striking, her voice clear as spring water, and when she smiled, it was like seeing a flower bloom.
He could feel his heart racing.
Xiao San never imagined that Yu Wei would be so beautiful!
Not only was she stunning, but she was also an expert at racing!
How could someone be this perfect?
Xiao San couldn’t help but place his hand over his chest, feeling his heart beat wildly. He blushed and said to Yu Wei, “A few days ago, I met you. Do you remember?”
Yu Wei was confused. A few days ago? She didn’t have any recollection of meeting him. If she had met Ling Che, she would definitely remember.
Seeing her confused expression, Xiao San realized that he hadn’t been clear enough. He scratched his head awkwardly and explained, “Sorry, I didn’t make myself clear. A few days ago, weren’t you racing on Aojian Mountain? The person you raced with that day was me.” As he finished, Xiao San smiled sheepishly.
The scene of the race had been playing in his mind non-stop over the past few days.
That day, the red sports car’s beautiful drifting and tail sliding were as vivid as ever.
Only someone like Yue Ge could rival it.
But she was an amateur, and Yue Ge was a professional! There was no comparison at all.
Though Xiao San couldn’t quite connect the image of the goddess in front of him with the person who had flipped him off during the race, he found the contrast even more charming.
Upon hearing Xiao San words, Yu Wei almost lost her smile.
Racing?
She had never raced, and she had never been to Aojian Mountain, so how could she have met Xiao San ?
Suddenly, she remembered that she had given the red sports car to Yu Sheng a few days ago, and the next night, she had gone out in it.
Could it be that she had been racing on Aojian Mountain that night?
Realizing that the person Xiao San was referring to might have been Yu Sheng, Yu Wei neither confirmed nor denied it, only maintaining a faint smile.
Though the red sports car had already been given to Yu Sheng, it was still under her name.
Xiao San thought for a moment, then gathered the courage to say, “I’d like to be friends with you.”
Without hesitation, Yu Wei responded, “Sure.”
Xiao San didn’t expect it to be so easy to become friends with a goddess. He stammered, “In a few days, I’ll introduce you to my brothers.”
Her brothers?
That must include the Shi family, Zhang family, and the Shen family…
Thinking about the Shen family, Yu Wei softly said, “Sure.”
Xiao San looked at Yu Wei, who was calm and quiet, and couldn’t help but feel a bit annoyed with his brothers. He had worked hard to get Yu Wei’s friend to bring her out, but when it came time to meet her, they all backed out, leaving him to invite a bunch of classmates to help him out.
At least things were going well today.
With that thought, a silly smile appeared on Xiao San’s face.
In her room, Yu Sheng had already started her lunch.
Although she had told Lin Sao to prepare anything, the meal was still quite lavish.
Mushroom Three-Flavor Soup, Dry Pot Potato Slices, Cumin Chicken Wings, Steamed Cabbage Rolls, Linglong Jade Heart, and a small bowl of rice.
Each dish was a small portion but enough for her.
The Mushroom Three-Flavor Soup was extremely delicious, and with each sip, it felt like she could swallow her tongue.
As for the Linglong Jade Heart, it looked exquisite, made from white radish and dried shellfish. Though the ingredients were simple, the taste was superb.
After finishing lunch, Yu Sheng handed the tray to Shi Ya, who was waiting outside the door. After returning to her desk, she began to think seriously about her Weibo plan.
In her previous life, she had spent two years managing her Weibo before slowly growing it, turning from a small account with only a few dozen followers into a major influencer with millions of fans. The hardships behind it, only she knew. But this time, armed with the experience from her past life, she would likely succeed faster.
As for the content, she planned to share her own creations and occasionally live-stream her painting.
This world’s internet celebrities were different from her previous world.
In this world, top influencers had statuses comparable to A-list movie stars. This social reality was more advantageous for Yu Sheng.
She took out the phone she bought after arriving at the Yu family, downloaded the Weibo app, and within a minute, it was installed.
When choosing her Weibo nickname, Yu Sheng thought for a moment and decided on “Little Sweetheart of Mr. Devil.”
Looking at this casual nickname, she thought she might update her emotional status on Weibo in real-time.
Hadn’t she already decided to actively pursue Mr. Devil? But right now, she didn’t have many concrete plans.
Shen Yao was already the boss of a listed company, while she was still a student, a freshman, and it seemed unlikely that they would have much interaction.
Perhaps she could brainstorm with her followers for ideas.
With this in mind, Yu Sheng picked up some colored pens and spent half an hour drawing a cartoon version of Mr. Devil.
The cartoon version of Mr. Devil had two horns on his head, eyes like purple grapes, a cute chubby face, and wore a white T-shirt with the large word “Devil” written on it.
This image was so unique that even people who knew Shen Yao in real life wouldn’t be able to recognize it, so Yu Sheng didn’t need to worry about being discovered by anyone else.
She thought for a moment, then posted her first Weibo update, writing: “Hello, my devilish Mr..”
The accompanying image was the cartoon version of Shen Yao that Yu Sheng had just drawn.
She double-checked everything several times to ensure there were no spelling mistakes and that the sentence made sense before hitting the publish button.
