After posting her first Weibo, Yu Sheng didn’t check her phone again.
Her mind was filled with design inspiration.
Inspiration is the most important thing for a designer. Without it, a designer is like a soulless person, reduced to a puppet with no unique life force.
Since meeting Shen Yao, Yu Sheng’s inspiration seemed endless.
It was because of him that she felt her creative well would never run dry.
He had such a magical power.
Yu Sheng thought back to when she first met Shen Yao. She remembered his casually raised hand while answering his secretary’s question.
Shen Yao’s hand would surely fulfill any hand fetish. His hand was fair, clean, and slender with delicate, subtle joints, giving off an impression of tenderness. Yet, despite its elegance, it could easily command and conquer.
He was as graceful and noble as an angel, but because he straddled the line between day and night, his presence exuded danger, like a demon.
But it was precisely because of this danger that he was so alluring.
Yu Sheng propped her chin with a pen, wondering what kind of ring would suit her “devilish Mr.”’s hand?
He was charming and seductive, like a poppy flower that could make someone fall into a trance.
At the same time, he was dangerous and dark, something one could both resist and be drawn to involuntarily.
Yu Sheng decided that the ring she would design for him would be made of obsidian. This dark color seemed to complement his complex aura perfectly.
As for the pattern, she would go with entwined vines, with beautiful poppy flowers blooming on them. She carefully drew the poppy flowers, making sure each petal was as perfect as possible.
The design would also include rubies, sculpted into 3D petal shapes.
Yu Sheng thought to herself while sketching the exclusive ring for Mr. Devil.
Without realizing it, hours passed by.
Yu Sheng stretched and stood up after completing the ring design. Suddenly, she remembered she hadn’t marked her work with her personal logo.
Every designer has a signature, and in her previous life, hers had been a fish.
She was called Yu Sheng, and her little friend used to tease her by calling her “Yuyu,” which is why she chose a fish as her symbol. But in this life, she was no longer the same Yu Sheng, and she didn’t want to use her old symbol. Therefore, she had subconsciously overlooked putting her signature on her drawings.
She looked at the artwork she had spent the entire day creating. All of them were inspired by Mr. Devil. And all the ideas had come from him.
Speaking of demons, Yu Sheng subconsciously thought of Satan from the Bible. He was the fallen angel who rebelled against God, yet he possessed a unique charm.
Mr. Devil was the same, with an unparalleled, unique charm.
Then her symbol…
She decided on wings. Black wings, symbolizing fall, original sin.
With this in mind, Yu Sheng quickly finalized her new signature and drew black wings on every piece of paper she had just worked on.
By the time she finished, another ten minutes had passed. Only then did she pick up her phone to check if anyone had commented on the Weibo post she made earlier.
To her surprise, there were indeed some comments. Although there weren’t many, just ten or so, and they couldn’t compare to the thousands of comments she received in her past life, it was still a pleasant surprise to see comments so soon after posting.
She carefully read the comments.
La Ni Lei: “The cartoon version of the blogger’s drawing is so nice! Can you design a cartoon avatar for me? I’m willing to pay.”
Yong Yi Zi: “I smell the scent of love here.”
Dog Ah Ah: “New blogger? Is this the blogger’s own artwork? The drawing is really good, I’ll follow you.”
Yu Sheng felt that her current popularity was far from enough, or rather, she had no popularity at all. She didn’t reply to the comments immediately but decided to browse through the trending topics.
She scrolled through the trending topics, trying to latch onto something relevant to get more attention.
The topics included #12 zodiac signs compatibility#, #Short hair looks better#, #Delivery guy delivering with an IV drip#… but none seemed to be suitable for her to join in.
Then, she saw a topic that caught her eye.
Yu Sheng noticed that this topic was trending strongly.
After all, everyone has wishes in their hearts, and people are subconsciously accustomed to hoping that their wishes will come true.
Thinking of this, Yu Sheng took out another blank sheet of paper and started to sketch.
In just a few minutes, Mr. Devil appeared on the paper again. This time, he was wearing a different T-shirt, but he was still just as cute.
Yu Sheng quickly began editing her second Weibo post.
She wrote: “Make a wish here, and hope my Mr. Devil can become mine.”
The accompanying image was another cartoon version of Mr. Devil. Just like the previous one, this time, the T-shirt still had the word “Devil” on it.
In the cartoon, Mr. Devil smiled innocently, his eyes round and pure like grapes, giving him a simple and cute appearance. But who would have thought that the real Mr. Devil had a smile that was light and aristocratic?
His mouth curled slightly, with a subtle sense of aloofness.
His aura was cold, with a mysterious, ethereal quality, in stark contrast to the cartoon version.
After posting the update, Yu Sheng hadn’t waited long before she got a notification for a new comment.
She opened the phone and saw the first comment.
Yong Yi Zi: “So the blogger isn’t in a relationship yet. Did you not manage to get them?”
Dog Ah Ah: “The blogger’s drawing is so cute! Hope your dreams come true soon!”
Yu Sheng saw the words “dreams come true” and smiled faintly.
She had never believed in making wishes; she only believed in herself.
If one only relied on such intangible things without taking action, they would never get what they wanted.
Some people and things can only be achieved through one’s own initiative.
Yu Sheng clicked on the comment by Yong Yi Zi and casually replied, “Yes, do you have any good ideas on how to pursue someone?”
She was waiting for a reply when suddenly, someone knocked on her door.
Thinking it was likely Shi Ya, she opened the door, only to find her father, Yu Li, standing there.
Yu Li didn’t look happy. Yu Sheng didn’t know what had happened, so she stayed silent.
Yu Li took a few deep breaths before slowly speaking, “Did you go to Akina Mountain to race?”
Yu Sheng froze for a moment. This was indeed something she had done, and it seemed he had already confirmed it. He was just here to double-check. She nodded and admitted it.
Upon seeing her nod, Yu Li’s breathing became erratic. “Racing? You, a girl, racing? Do you know how many people die in accidents on Akina Mountain every year? Do you realize that?” His voice got louder, and by the end, he was nearly shouting.
Yu Sheng looked confused, not understanding where his anger was coming from.
She didn’t know that, in Yu Li’s mind, she had already been labeled as “unruly.”
After all, she had driven without a license before, and he thought as long as she didn’t cause any trouble, it would be fine. But he never expected that she would go to Akina Mountain to race!
Akina Mountain! It was dangerous, and there were so many fatalities there every year.
Could he possibly read about a headline saying “Yu Sheng, the eldest daughter of the Yu family, dies in a car crash on Akina Mountain” just after his daughter returned? Such news would definitely damage the reputation of the Yu family business.
Thinking of this, Yu Li’s anger grew even more.
“Can’t you be as well-behaved as Wei Wei now that you’re home?” he snapped.
After saying that, he added, “No more racing, and definitely no more going to Akina Mountain to race, understand? If you do, I won’t buy you a car!”
Yu Sheng was about to reply when she suddenly noticed the white corner of a dress in the distance.
She remembered that Wei Wei was wearing a white dress today.
So she had been eavesdropping?
Why?
Yu Sheng couldn’t understand for a moment.
But whatever her thoughts were, she had to hold them back for now.
“Got it, Dad,” Yu Sheng said, agreeing calmly.
Seeing that she had agreed so easily, Yu Li’s anger finally lessened.
Realizing his tone had been too harsh, he softened and tried to appear more like a loving father. “I’m only doing this for your own good. Life is precious. Don’t take unnecessary risks.”
Yu Sheng gave a light smile. “Alright, Dad.”
After finishing his “education” of Yu Sheng, Yu Li left feeling refreshed.
Once Yu Li left, Yu Sheng reflected on what had just happened. Yu Li had come to her room to remind her not to race cars in the future, especially not on Akina Mountain. And it seemed Yu Wei had been eavesdropping nearby.
So, had something happened after she raced cars on Akina Mountain that day?
Yu Sheng couldn’t figure it out at the moment, so she decided not to dwell on it.
When she returned to her room, she picked up her phone to check messages. After unlocking the screen, she saw that the quack doctor had replied.
The message said, “Chasing someone? It’s simple, just sleep with him.”
