Chapter 53 Come on, let’s hurt each other

Qian Xiaolan stared at her for a moment, then suddenly smiled and nodded, “Hmm, yes, I thank you, Sister-in-law, for being so understanding. But, we are newly married after all, so it’s normal, right?”

Qian Xiaolan finished checking him and confirmed that he had recovered well. She felt relieved.

Gu Yanqing put his arm around her shoulder and they strolled around the yard. Occasionally, they could hear Zhang Xiaoqin’s ranting from next door.

The couple exchanged glances. They both felt sorry for Gao Yingchang.

“Lao Gao isn’t decisive enough. Otherwise, he wouldn’t be stuck with that woman.” Gu Yanqing said. Thinking about how he wouldn’t be able to come back at night in a few days, he felt a little worried. “Will you be scared at home alone at night? Should I go get a puppy for you to keep you company?”
