After hanging up the phone, Zhang Jianjun couldn’t stay calm. He and his wife were the ones who accompanied them to the hospital back then, and his wife had been watching the child the whole time. How could the child have been switched?

Zhang Jianjun said, “I just got a call from Luo Haotian. He said that his younger daughter was swapped at the hospital and asked me to check with you if anything unusual happened back then.”

Zhong Cuiping’s mind suddenly went blank. If the child had really been swapped, they would be in serious trouble. She suddenly felt a chill all over and her legs grew weak.

Seeing his wife’s reaction, Zhang Jianjun quickly stepped forward to support her and helped her sit down. “Don’t be scared. Since this has already happened, there’s nothing we can do but try to remember if anything went wrong at that time.”

Zhang Xiao hugged her mother and said, “Mom, fate really works in mysterious ways. The girl who saved us last time, named Luo Qiao, is the child we’ve been looking for.”

Zhong Cuiping looked at her husband in disbelief. Zhang Jianjun said, “If nothing unexpected happens, she is indeed that child. Last time we met Luo Qiao on the road, she told us about her background.”

Zhong Cuiping said, “Then what are we waiting for? Call Luo Haotian and tell him about this.”

The family didn’t even bother returning to the base to make the call. Instead, they went straight to the nearby post office and called Luo Haotian, sharing everything they knew and suspected.

When Luo Haotian heard about Luo Qiao, his heart ached, and his eyes reddened. He instinctively felt that Luo Qiao must be his daughter and wished he could fly to her right now.

After hanging up, he immediately called his parents to tell them what had happened and arranged for someone to buy a train ticket to Ji City for the next day. He was extremely anxious.
