Transmigrated into the Apocalypse: Hoarding Ten Billion Supplies and Clinging to the Villain’s Thigh Chapter 7

Chapter 7: Falling into the Golden Thigh?!

The repeated visits from Shu Liangjun’s family solidified Shu Xin’s resolve to move.

There was still quite a while before the apocalypse, and if she had to deal with them knocking on her door every other day, she would go insane.

As soon as the three of them left, Shu Xin immediately called the real estate agent who had helped her sell her house. She asked them to find her a well-secured apartment complex near A University for rent.

Since Shu Xin was a major client, the agency worked swiftly. In less than half an hour, they provided her with three options to choose from.

“Longze Garden… If I remember correctly, the golden thigh also lives in this community! Then that’s the one!”

Shu Xin finalized her choice and sent her confirmation to the agent, setting up a visit for the next morning to inspect the apartment and complete the paperwork. Her plan was to check out the place in the morning and move in by the afternoon.

She packed everything she could from the villa into her spatial storage. If it weren’t for the hassle of removing the floor tiles, she wouldn’t have left anything behind.

This house, filled with memories of the original host and her scumbag mother, wasn’t even listed for sale—it would remain as a mere souvenir. However, once the apocalypse hit, it wouldn’t last long anyway.

The next day, Shu Xin got up early and dressed up beautifully. What if she happened to run into Yan Mo while checking out the apartment? She had to make a great first impression!

The original host’s appearance was almost identical to her own, except for a tear mole under Shu Xin’s right eye, which the original lacked. This slight difference made her look even more innocent and harmless.

Her appearance fit the sweet and delicate type—cute dimples when she smiled, soft and adorable. If she acted coy on purpose, she could drown someone in sweetness.

Since she was both naturally cute and spoiled by her elders, she had perfected the art of acting spoiled. Whenever she got into trouble, all she had to do was whine and act cute, and she’d get away with it.

After confirming that her outfit was both comfortable and stylish, Shu Xin put on a wide-brimmed sun hat and headed out.

The real estate agent was already waiting for her at the entrance of the complex. She followed Xiao Li into the residential area, listening politely as he enthusiastically introduced the neighborhood. Her attentive responses made Xiao Li feel respected, fueling his motivation to continue his detailed explanations until he was parched.

The apartment recommended to her was a two-bedroom unit, fully furnished and move-in ready, with all appliances included.

She signed the lease on the spot, paid six months’ rent upfront, and received the keys.

After seeing Xiao Li off, Shu Xin immediately contacted a housekeeper to help clean the apartment while she went shopping for additional items. She also grabbed a suitcase to keep up appearances.

Despite her busy schedule, she had been eagerly hoping to “accidentally” run into Yan Mo in the complex. Unfortunately, unlike the fated encounters of novel protagonists, she had no such luck.

Since there was no chance of running into Yan Mo, Shu Xin curled up at home, ordered takeout, and browsed through the food delivery app. After running around all day, she felt justified in indulging in some high-calorie treats.

Of course, she would never admit she was just being greedy!

Ten family-sized buckets from Uncle Ken’s fried chicken? Check. Ten snack buckets? Check. She obviously couldn’t eat it all at once—most of it was going into her spatial storage.

Her storage space had a dedicated section for cooked food. Cooking during the apocalypse would be inconvenient and risky since the smell could attract attention. Stockpiling ready-to-eat food was a smart move.

After acquiring a supermarket, she had instructed the hired manager to purchase industrial shelves and even a round of wholesale stock. Now, everything in her space was neatly organized, sorted like a real supermarket, making it easier to find what she needed.

Since moving into this complex, Shu Xin had made it a routine to stroll around every day in hopes of running into Yan Mo—but she never succeeded.

Ironically, the moment she gave up on dressing up and went out in pajamas to buy snacks from the convenience store, she literally fell into her golden thigh.

Yes, you read that right—fell into him!

She had been distracted by her phone, oblivious to the stairs leading up to her building. Tripping over them, she instinctively grabbed onto the person in front of her—who happened to be walking up the stairs as well.

Both of them crashed onto the ground at the building entrance.

“Ugh—”

Yan Mo, who had been dragged down under her, hit his back against the steps, further crushed by Shu Xin’s weight, and let out a low groan of pain.

“I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean to! Are you okay?”

Realizing she had caused an accident, Shu Xin immediately apologized before even looking up. Hearing his pained groan, she scrambled off him and tried to help him up.

But when she finally saw the face of the person she had just tackled, she froze in shock and blurted out his name, “Yan Mo…”

“You know me?”

Yan Mo quickly got up on his own, his gaze shifting toward her. For a fleeting moment, his eyes darkened before returning to their usual calm.

“I’m Shu Xin, also a student at A University. It’s not strange that I know you, right? I really am sorry about just now—are you okay?”

In just a few seconds, Shu Xin had already regained her composure, her gaze filled with genuine concern.

“I’m fine, nothing serious. But you should stop walking while using your phone—it’s dangerous.”

Yan Mo adjusted his gold-rimmed glasses with a smooth, composed motion. His speech was slow and steady, his voice warm and pleasant, making it hard for anyone to disagree with him.

Yan Mo was already exceptionally handsome, and dressed in a tailored suit from attending a banquet, he exuded an air of refined elegance. The way he adjusted his glasses just now… utterly lethal.

Shu Xin knew she was doomed. At that very moment, she felt like a tiny, chubby Cupid had shot an arrow straight through her heart.

This man was the epitome of her ideal type—exuding an aloof yet dignified charm that relentlessly tested her already fragile self-control.

Yan Mo remained composed as he observed Shu Xin’s reactions, showing no indication that he noticed anything unusual. He silently picked up the scattered belongings and stepped into the elevator with her.
