Chapter 29: Orders came down, she couldn’t move

Jiang Li was awakened by a splash of water. A basin of icy water hit her, she woke up from her faint, opened her eyes wide and gasped for breath. The water dripped down her hair and cheeks, reaching her delicate white neck. Even the bamboo vine clothes on her body were wet, in this place where no light could penetrate, her figure, highlighted by the wet clothes, was vaguely visible.

“Oh, you’re awake?” A very frivolous female voice. Jiang Li looked up in a daze, the woman in front of her had a beautiful figure, with curves in all the right places. Her face was also stunningly beautiful, her long narrow eyes were slightly narrowed, her gaze was alluring, very seductive.

As the woman spoke, she had already produced a black whip in her hand. As soon as the words fell, she retracted her previous posture, her eyes instantly became vicious and cruel.  *Crack!* The whip landed heavily on Jiang Li’s body, instantly tearing her skin.

 “Ah!” She howled in pain, she was in agony, her facial features were all squeezed together, becoming distorted. Fine beads of sweat seeped from her forehead, and her lips became even paler. Seeing Jiang Li in such pain, the woman was even more excited. She slightly parted her lips, her tongue gently licked her lower lip. Just as she raised the whip to strike Jiang Li for the third time, someone suddenly appeared behind her, grabbed the woman’s wrist tightly, stopping her action. “Okay, that’s enough.”

The woman paused, the excited light in her eyes faded, she turned her head in confusion and looked at the person behind her. “Hmm? It’s just begun, I’m not satisfied yet.” The woman was unsatisfied, she pouted slightly, very dissatisfied. The man didn’t say anything, he let go of the woman’s hand. “The order is down, she can’t be touched now.” A cold voice slowly came out of the man’s thin lips. “Heh, okay okay.” The woman retracted the whip in her hand.

 The man walked over to Jiang Li and knelt down in front of her. Sensing the person in front of her, Jiang Li slowly raised her head, enduring the pain in her body. The man in front of her had a cold face, a high nose and thin lips, his eyes were long and narrow and deep, there was a teardrop mole at the corner of his eye. His slightly lowered gaze, his long-curled eyelashes, revealed coldness and indifference. His jet-black hair was tied with a red snake-shaped rope.

The man looked at her twice, then raised his hand and used his sharp nails to cut the ropes that bound her limbs. Jiang Li, who was unbound, collapsed powerlessly on the ground. Now, she felt nothing but pain. “You’re going to take her away?” The woman behind him, coquettishly, put her arms around the man, her body swayed gracefully, using her prominent curves to rub against his back. The woman’s red lips approached the man’s ear, her eyes narrowed slightly, she looked at the man’s cold profile with affection, even the words she said were very ambiguous.

 “You’re just taking her away like this? Without even a little gesture?” The man looked at the woman sideways, his face remained cold and composed, calm and collected. The red snake-shaped rope that bound his black hair suddenly came alive, its snake eyes glowed green, as if they were poisoned. It began to slowly twist its body, following the man’s body, it reached the woman, and arched its body towards her, opening its mouth and roaring.

The woman’s expression froze, she was frightened and pale, she quickly let go of the man’s body and staggered back two steps. Seeing that she kept a distance from the man, the little red snake was satisfied, it retracted its head, returned along the original path to the man’s hair, and turned back into the “red rope” that bound his hair.

“Heh.” The woman chuckled; her expression returned to her previous charming look. “You still don’t know how to be gentle with women.” The man ignored her words, he stretched out his arms and hugged Jiang Li, who was dizzy. Seeing that the man was going to take her away, the woman became anxious, she quickly stepped forward to block the man’s path. “Where are you taking her?” “None of your business.” The man’s tone was even colder than before, his eyes flashed with a trace of bloodthirsty ferocity. The woman’s breath stopped, she didn’t dare to speak anymore, she shifted her gaze away, hugged Jiang Li, bypassed her, and left the dungeon without a second thought. It wasn’t until she couldn’t see the man’s figure that the woman unwillingly bit her lower lip.

 “Damn it!” The man’s body was very cold, which made Jiang Li, whose pain was spreading throughout her body, feel slightly more comfortable. “You… who are you?” Jiang Li struggled to open her eyes and looked at the man above her, her voice was hoarse and weak, she spoke with little strength. The man didn’t speak, his gaze remained fixed on the front.

 “Why did you save me?” The woman just said that she had trespassed into the snake territory and even killed the guardian giant python, why did he still dare to save her? Hearing this, the man finally reacted slightly, his eyes, which were as still as a pool of stagnant water, drooped slightly, he glanced at her lightly. “It’s just an order, you can’t die now.”

 Jiang Li cracked a smile, so that’s how it is. Jiang Li couldn’t bear the fatigue brought by her body, she finally closed her eyes in a daze. She didn’t know how long it had been, Jiang Li heard a conversation coming from her ear. “Is this the female who killed the giant python guarding our tribe?

 She doesn’t look any different?” As he spoke, a hand gently poked Jiang Li’s face and arm. “She’s so thin, that giant python could have been three times her size, I really don’t know how she managed to kill the giant python with such amazing strength.” Jiang Li’s head was dizzy, listening to the voice filled with amazement, she couldn’t help but frown slightly.

Who was speaking? She slowly opened her eyes. The people around her immediately gathered around. “Night Yao, look, she’s awake.” Jiang Li’s head was still a little dizzy, she hadn’t reacted to the words yet, when she saw a large face approaching her.
