Chapter 78 I hate it most when someone attacks me
“Ugh!” A dull pain shot through her neck, Jiang Li couldn’t help but gasp as she regained consciousness. Even the little beast in her heart was roaring. Damn it! Who attacked me from behind?!
An angry Jiang Li raised her hand to rub her neck, completely oblivious to her surroundings. The little gray fox standing not far from her saw she was awake, and ran out in terror, shouting loudly to the outside, “Prince! Prince! Something’s wrong, the female is awake!” The little gray fox ran around the yard with his arms raised, his facial expression full of terror.
This sudden sound broke Jiang Li’s thoughts, and she began to stare blankly at her surroundings. A simple and tidy wooden house, and a wooden bed beneath her. This place… it seems familiar… Jiang Li scratched her head and pondered, she increasingly felt like she had seen this place somewhere, but where was it?
“Well, I understand.” A cold voice came from outside, disrupting Jiang Li’s thoughts. She slightly raised her eyelids and looked towards the wooden door. What she saw first were long, slender fingertips pressing against the wooden door. Then a handsome man with long silver hair slowly walked in.
The moment she saw the man’s appearance, Jiang Li instantly felt like her brain had crashed. How could it be him?! This was the beastman she had forcibly taken advantage of when she first crossed over to Mingyue. No way? Why was she so unlucky? She thought she would never see him again in this life, why did she run into him on this mission? Did he still remember her? He shouldn’t, right? After all, she used smoke bombs at the time, he shouldn’t remember her, right?
Although she kept comforting herself, she still didn’t feel confident. As the man approached, Jiang Li couldn’t help but drag her body back. Seeing the surprise and fear in her eyes, the man curled his lips into a contemptuous smile. “Awake?”
Jiang Li couldn’t help but swallow, her expression became flustered. “You… what are you going to do?”
Seeing her reaction, a flash of amusement quickly crossed the man’s eyes, but soon, a cold expression quickly covered it. “Remember me?”
These words made Jiang Li even more afraid. He did remember her… What should she do? After all, she took advantage of him, would he kill her for the humiliation?
Jiang Li curled up into a ball, shivering. She looked up at the man with a pitiful expression, tears in her eyes, she looked very pitiful. “Big Brother, your memory is too good, right? I can explain, I was forced to do that at the time.”
The man’s cold hand pinched her chin, he slowly leaned down to look at her, his eyes were calm and unwavering, he was indifferent to her pleas. “I hate people who sneak up on me the most, especially when they do that kind of thing to me!” When he said the last sentence, the man gritted his teeth, as if he was using all his strength, he forcefully spat it out.
Jiang Li nervously pursed her dry lips, she still stubbornly defended herself. “Well… we can think of it this way, Big Brother, you are so handsome, there must be a lot of females who secretly look at you and lust after you. Look, my sneak attack actually gave you some experience, you won’t be easily attacked by other females, right?”
By the end, Jiang Li didn’t know what she was saying anymore. Forget it, whatever, as long as he understands. She looked at the man in front of her, blinking innocently. Even her face was engraved with the words “I’m helping you.”
“You’re really smooth-tongued and cunning, female.” He tightened his hand on her chin slightly, Jiang Li couldn’t help but frown even deeper in pain, cold sweat slowly oozed out on her forehead. She felt like her chin was about to dislocate, it was numb with pain.
“Besides you, no female has ever dared to treat me like this.” His voice was low and cold, a hint of bloodthirsty killing intent flashed in his eyes. Jiang Li’s whole body tensed up, she couldn’t help but think, did he want to kill her?
“You… you… what do you want?” She spoke with difficulty due to the pain. Tears quickly formed in her eyes, slowly flowing down her cheeks. The hot tears fell on the man’s finger, as if they were burning, the man’s hand holding her chin paused slightly, even the strength loosened a bit.
“I want you to stay here as my servant, to serve me, until I get bored.” After speaking, the man released his hand forcefully as if he was venting. Jiang Li was thrown to the side by inertia, she reached out to rub her aching chin, tears uncontrollably rolled down her cheeks.
“Remember, my name is Jiang Ze.” After the man’s cold words fell, he turned around and strode away, not leaving a single look or gesture.
“He’s sick! He’s really sick!” Jiang Li glared at the man’s departing back, she muttered softly. She had already apologized, but he still used such force. She had entered another tiger’s den, how could she escape from here?
The little gray fox had been guarding the yard, not daring to go in and disturb him. Until Jiang Ze walked out of the wooden house, he ran forward. “Prince, the little prince is awake, he’s crying and wants to see you.”
Hearing this, Jiang Ze frowned slightly, he couldn’t help but sigh helplessly, “Children are so troublesome.” He turned his head towards the wooden house behind him and instructed the little gray fox, “Xiaobai, find someone to watch her, don’t let her run away.”
Xiaobai blinked, nodding in response, “Yes, Prince.”
Jiang Li, inside the wooden house, rubbed her chin and paced back and forth in the house anxiously. She racked her brains, thinking for a long time, but she couldn’t figure out how to leave. Forget it, if it doesn’t work, she’ll just break out. Thinking about this, she reached out and pushed open the wooden door. Just as the six gray foxes in armor guarding the door heard the noise, they picked up the wooden sticks in their hands and blocked her firmly. “The Prince ordered, you cannot leave!” Their faces were cold, and their tone was devoid of warmth.
“I really thank him!” Jiang Li rolled her eyes at them, then slammed the door shut.
It has to be said that Jiang Ze thought highly of her, he actually sent six powerful fox warriors to guard her. She slumped onto the ground, sighing continuously, her mood becoming increasingly depressed. She hadn’t told anyone about the location of this operation. Hei Duo and Qiao Shen only knew that she had gone out, but they didn’t know where she had gone. Even if she didn’t go back, they could only run around like headless chickens, not knowing where to find her. Could it be that she really had to stay here forever?
Thinking of Jiang Ze’s last words, “Stay here as my servant, to serve me,” the image of him whipping her and torturing her appeared in her mind…
