In the vast mountain range of the Southern Territory, there was a secluded valley known as the Valley of a Hundred Demons.
The moonlight was obscured by thick clouds, shrouding the valley in darkness. The eerie howls of wild beasts echoed through the air, twisting and reverberating against the cliffs like the cries of mountain spirits and ghosts—enough to send shivers down anyone’s spine.
Suddenly, a gust of wind swept through the valley, scattering the clouds and revealing a full moon. Moonlight poured down like silver, draping the dark valley in a misty veil. A soft haze lingered, dancing like celestial maidens, lending an ethereal beauty to the scene.
Beneath the moonlight, a figure stood at the edge of a cliff. Tall and slender, dressed in white with long silver hair, he exuded an air of cold elegance. His features were striking—almost otherworldly—like a spirit of the night. As the breeze rustled past, his robes fluttered, and his hair swayed gently, making him look like an exiled immortal.
Yet, at this moment, the immortal-like figure was frowning deeply, his gaze dazed, slightly marring his flawless aura.
Jun Zhu didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
Because—he had transmigrated into a book!
And not just as any character—but as a villain!
On top of that, he had been forcibly bound to some ridiculous Villain’s Charisma System?
The sheer amount of information flooding his mind left him momentarily stunned. How had he suddenly ended up in this world? And what was this nonsense about a villain system?
“By binding with this system, I will assist the host in increasing your Villain Charisma Score, shaping you into the most captivating villain!”
A sweet, youthful voice echoed in Jun Zhu’s mind, but he remained unamused. He only had one question—how to go back. Just a moment ago, he was peacefully sleeping in his own bed. How had he suddenly been thrown into a book world and turned into a villain?
“Wait, I refuse! I refuse to bind with this nonsense system. I just want to go back to reality!”
“Apologies, host! You cannot return to reality unless you complete the mission.”
Jun Zhu felt an immediate wave of frustration. Who wouldn’t be furious if they were suddenly dragged into an unfamiliar world and forced to complete tasks just to return home?
“What if I refuse to do the mission?” he asked, his tone laced with a threatening edge.
“If the host refuses, you will remain in this world forever and perish alongside the fate of your character.”
Jun Zhu’s irritation flared. What kind of ridiculous contract was this? With these conditions, did he even have a choice?
“But don’t worry, host! Time in this world flows differently from reality. When you complete the mission and return, everything here will feel like nothing more than a fleeting dream.”
That explanation eased Jun Zhu’s anxiety a little, but his expression remained grim. His tone was impatient.
“Fine. Just tell me the mission.”
Hearing this, the system’s voice brightened with excitement.
“Your task is to raise your character’s Charisma Score to 1,000, enhance his depth, and ensure he achieves a more fulfilling ending!”
