Jing Xi never expected that Zhou Shu, that bastard, would actually go through with it.
He wasn’t just trying to scare her!
Red marks had already formed on her neck and wrists from being restrained.
When she felt certain parts of his body pressing against her sensitive areas, her mind completely collapsed!
But!
How could she just give in without a fight?
Damn it!
Just as Zhou Shu finished undoing his own pants and reached to unfasten hers, he loosened his grip for a brief moment. In that instant, Jing Xi, fueled by an unknown surge of strength, flipped over and threw Zhou Shu off her. Then, with a powerful side kick, she struck directly at his exposed third leg.
“AAAAHHHHH! FUCK!!!”
“AAAAHHHHH! MY—MY MANHOOD! AAAAHHHHHH!”
“AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!”
The once quiet forest was suddenly filled with his agonizing, pig-like screams!
Jing Xi struggled to find her footing and finally stood up, looking down at Zhou Shu, who was now curled up on the ground, clutching his crotch and writhing in pain.
A ruthless fire burned in her heart.
So everyone thinks they can bully me, huh?
Let’s see who’s really the one getting bullied here!
Without hesitation, she landed another vicious kick on Zhou Shu’s body. Even though she was still quite thin, the nourishment from the spring water had strengthened her significantly.
She used every ounce of strength she had, kicking him so hard that he started seeing stars.
But even as he groaned in pain, he had the nerve to curse at her. “Aahhh! I’m gonna kill you! You kicked my—my balls!”
Jing Xi took advantage of his moment of struggle and quickly untied the ropes binding her hands. The knots had been loosely tied, making it easier for her to break free.
The moment her hands were free, she delivered another swift kick to Zhou Shu’s back shoulder.
She shouted fiercely, “Kill me?! Let’s see who kills who first! Damn it! Just because I haven’t shown my claws, do you think I’m Hello Kitty?!”
Zhou Shu had no time to process what Hello Kitty even meant.
Because right now, his soft tissues were in excruciating pain—pain so intense that he swore he saw his long-dead great-grandmother calling out to him from the afterlife!
But this woman showed no mercy.
Kick after kick after kick.
Jing Xi kicked until she was panting heavily, while Zhou Shu was screaming and moaning in agony.
By the end, he couldn’t even make a sound anymore. He just lay there, curled up, trembling, and silently begging for mercy.
Jing Xi found his whimpering irritating. Without hesitation, she grabbed the rope and tied his legs together.
As she did, she noticed his body trembling uncontrollably on the ground.
She figured she must have kicked his vital parts hard enough to… well, break them.
At a glance, it didn’t seem too obvious—just a bit swollen and red.
But even if she had completely destroyed him, she didn’t care.
Ending the Zhou family’s bloodline was just payback for all the people they had bullied!
After catching her breath for about five minutes, she saw that Zhou Shu had completely passed out.
Sweat covered his entire body, his forehead drenched. It was clear that he had been pushed past his limit of pain.
Jing Xi glanced around. The forest was empty for now, but there was no guarantee that someone wouldn’t pass by soon.
Summoning every last bit of her strength, she dragged Zhou Shu to a more visible spot, pulled his pants back up, and then took the long way home from the opposite direction.
Live or die, that was up to fate.
Grandmother Jing is giving you a lesson today—to let you know that I am not someone to be trifled with.
Jing Xi hadn’t noticed that deep within the forest, a person had been watching her every move. When that person saw that she was about to be violated, they were ready to act. But upon witnessing her handle the situation on her own, they quietly retreated to their original position.
When Jing Xi got home, she immediately boiled some water and wiped her entire body clean, except for the areas where she was injured. Her clothes and hair were covered in dirt. Since it had rained a few days ago, the soil had turned into mud.
After washing up, she treated her wounds.
Applying the medicine stung so much that she gritted her teeth in pain.
Once everything was taken care of, she sat by the window, gazing outside.
About an hour later, she saw a family using a small cart to transport the unconscious Zhou Shu back to his home.
Jing Xi let out a cold snort. The anger in her heart hadn’t been fully vented yet.
Dealing with Zhou Shu was just the beginning—she still had to figure out how to deal with the others!
After eating and drinking to her satisfaction, she went out for a walk.
When she arrived at the village’s gossip hub, she saw a crowd gathered.
Auntie in black: “Hey, did you see that? Old Zhou’s son was just pushed home on a cart. He was lying there, not moving at all!”
Old man in white: “I saw it too! You think maybe that boy got into trouble, messing around outside all the time? Maybe he offended someone and got beaten up!”
Auntie in gray: “That’s possible, but there didn’t seem to be any visible injuries on him! His face was just pale as a sheet… Could it be that he ran into a ghost in the woods?”
Auntie in black: “Sis, you might be right! It’s totally possible! There are so many graves up on that mountain, and the forest at the foot of it is the perfect place for spirits to gather. There must be tons of ghosts there! I heard from the Meng family that someone once got lost in a ghostly maze there!”
Old man in blue: “Come on, stop with the nonsense! Ghosts in broad daylight? No way! I say he must have pissed someone off and got taught a lesson.”
The group began arguing over whether Zhou Shu had encountered a ghost or had been beaten up.
Jing Xi shook her head with a smirk and walked toward the Zhou family’s house.
As soon as she stepped into the alley, she saw several village clinic doctors in white coats entering the house.
Jing Xi quickened her pace. After making sure no one was around, she immediately entered her personal space and hid in the corridor to eavesdrop.
The Zhou household was in complete chaos.
Peeking over the wall, she saw Zhou Shu sprawled on the heated brick bed, his limbs spread out. A white sheet covered him as two doctors examined him.
Zhou Wenwu and Li Fenghua stood to the side, their faces full of worry.
After the examination, the doctor pulled Zhou Shu’s parents into the kitchen.
The elderly doctor spoke solemnly: “His reproductive organs were severely kicked. It’s a serious injury. We can only help with the pain for now. You’ll have to take him to a major hospital for proper treatment.”
The moment Li Fenghua heard that her son’s manhood had been damaged, she lost it.
“Damn it! Which heartless bastard kicked my son’s lifeline?! This is the end of our family line!”
She wailed and slapped her thighs, sitting on the ground and refusing to get up.
Zhou Wenwu’s face darkened even more.
The elderly doctor added, “Don’t waste time. Find a way to get a vehicle and head straight to the city hospital! If necessary, I can go with you. Look on the bright side—at least his life isn’t in danger. Being alive is what matters most.”
Chen Xiaowen, who had been standing quietly to the side, didn’t say a word.
She simply stared at Zhou Shu.
Jing Xi found this little wife more and more unreadable.
Logically, if a woman’s husband suffered such an injury, wouldn’t she be the most anxious?
Yet, she looked completely indifferent.
Zhou Wenwu glanced at Li Fenghua, who was still crying on the ground, and shoved her in frustration.
“What the hell are you crying for?! Get up and grab some money! We need to take our son to the hospital! Xiaowen, go to the village office and ask the village chief to help us find a vehicle!”
Chen Xiaowen snapped out of it and quickly walked out the door.
Jing Xi watched her leave in a hurry, but the moment she stepped out of the house, her pace slowed considerably.
…
Could it be that Chen Xiaowen wanted Zhou Shu to become useless?
As Jing Xi pondered, she continued to observe Zhou Wenwu and Li Fenghua rummaging around for money.
She memorized the location where they stored their cash.
About half an hour later, Chen Xiaowen returned.
She had brought Xie Aiguo with her.
Xie Aiguo had managed to find a tractor, and soon, the entire Zhou family set off for the city.
From Beizhen to the city, it was about a two-hour journey.
Jing Xi estimated that Zhou Shu might wake up on the way there.
And once he did, the Zhou family would soon know that she was the one who had done this to him.
