At seven in the morning, Jiang Muning, exhausted from the night before, was still fast asleep.

Qin Muye got up gently, carefully tucking the blanket around her.

Looking at her peaceful sleeping face, remembering how she had sung sweetly and seductively under him last night, Qin Muye felt as if it was all a dream.

He pinched his cheek hard, the sharp pain reminding him that this wasn’t a dream.

Getting out of bed, Qin Muye put on his pants and tiptoed towards the door.

They were taking the train back to the army at noon, and he had to go to town to buy some food early.

There wasn’t much to eat on the train, and it was a ten-hour journey, so he had to stock up, lest she get hungry.

He was afraid of waking her up, so even the motion of pushing the door was gentle.

Once he was out of the room, Qin Muye returned to his usual demeanor.

His expression was stern, his long legs strode forward without hesitation.

Seeing him leave, Qin Nuan immediately ran to his room at top speed.

“Want to follow the army and cut off our family’s money? You’re dreaming.” Qin Nuan thought viciously, and was about to push the door open forcefully, but suddenly remembered Wang Guifen’s instructions.

She pushed the door open gently, afraid of waking Jiang Muning and ruining the plan.

Seeing this, Qin Muye immediately said: “Go get a basin of water.”

Qin Nuan didn’t move, Li Hua quickly ran out.

“How come you suddenly have so many bumps, could it be some kind of infectious disease?” Wang Guifen said, “Second son, if she gets sick, you can’t take her to follow the army, what if she spreads the disease to the army?”

Li Hua brought the water, Qin Muye’s face was stern, and he immediately used a towel to wring out the water and wipe her face.
