Chapter 82: Leisure in the Back Mountain

Chen Xin smiled and said, “That’s good news.”

“Xiao Yu’er, I’m going on a trip tomorrow.” Chen Xin’s smile faded as she handed him a piece of fish.

Seeing Chen Xin serving him food with joy, Fang Ziyu smiled slightly, then resumed his normal expression and said, “Take care of yourself and be careful.”

Although he didn’t know where Chen Xin was going or what she was busy with, he couldn’t help but worry when she was away from home. Moreover, he didn’t like this atmosphere of impending departure.

Seeing this, Chen Xin put down her bowl and held his hand, comforting him. “Don’t worry.”

Feeling the warmth of his hand, Fang Ziyu smiled back and said, “That’s good. Let’s eat. I’ll help you pack the things you’ll need for the journey later.”

“Okay.” The two smiled at each other and tacitly dropped the subject. Chen Xin continued her plan to fatten up Fang Ziyu by serving him more food. She noticed that he had gained some weight compared to when she first arrived, so she felt a sense of accomplishment and continued happily.

However, after a while, Fang Ziyu put down his chopsticks and pouted pitifully at Chen Xin. “Xin, I can’t eat anymore.”

Such a look from Fang Ziyu was a huge blow to Chen Xin. She immediately surrendered and stopped trying to feed him. “Alright, you don’t have to eat anymore.”

After both of them put down their chopsticks, Chen Xin thought about taking him out for a walk. She wouldn’t be back for long this time, so she wanted to spend more time with Xiao Yu’er. Holding his hand, she led him to the back mountain.

With a puzzled expression, Fang Ziyu turned to Chen Xin and asked, “Xin, what are we doing here?”

Chen Xin smiled faintly but didn’t answer. Instead, she led him to the foot of the densely overgrown bushes and bushes. A glint appeared in her eyes as she suddenly hugged Fang Ziyu’s waist and whispered hot breath into his ear, “Hold on tight.”

Before he could react, Chen Xin used light skill to fly with him through the deserted forest with crisscrossing paths.

In mid-air, Fang Ziyu looked down and widened his beautiful eyes. “Ah!” he exclaimed and hugged Chen Xin’s neck. Chen Xin thought she had scared him, but unexpectedly, Fang Ziyu exclaimed excitedly, “Xin, this is so thrilling!” His eyes kept scanning the surroundings, and suddenly he pointed in a direction, “Xin, what’s that animal? It looks a bit like Master Apao.”

Hearing this, Chen Xin stopped on a tree trunk as thick as a human thigh, and the two of them sat down. She hugged his waist tightly and looked in the direction he pointed, bursting into laughter and kissing his cheek affectionately. “Master Apao is a raccoon, that’s a squirrel.”

“But it looks so similar,” Fang Ziyu said in amazement.

“A little bit,” Chen Xin looked at the similar fur color and size, nodding in agreement, finding an excuse to go along with him.

Fang Ziyu looked seriously for a while, then smiled and said, “It doesn’t really look like.”

Chen Xin choked for a moment upon hearing this and looked helplessly at the squirrel still eating pine nuts. Wasn’t what she said just now pointless?

Then she looked at his expression and asked, “Do you like it?”
