The typical cannon fodder bullying scene for every male lead arrived! Su Wan remembered that Shen Tingyan was very skilled with his hands and feet—beating up a few people was no problem for him.
The words of those few people were vicious, and they deserved to be beaten.
The group stood under the shade of a tree, their tall and strong figures surrounding Shen Tingyan. One of them was stepping on a basketball, with narrow eyes and a malicious smile—likely the leader of the bad students.
The slim and delicate young man faced them, his expression completely emotionless.
His indifference angered the group.
“Are you deaf or something? We’re talking to you!” one of them shouted.
“Damn it, beat him up! Doesn’t he love that pretty face? Let’s ruin it and see if he still cries!”
As they spoke, they cracked their knuckles and moved in closer.
Then, Shen Tingyan suddenly made his move.
Su Wan, with her backpack on, stood by the wall, her head barely peeking out. No one noticed her. Unfortunately, she didn’t have anything like sunflower seeds to pass the time, so she could only silently watch the fight.
…Actually, it should be called a one-sided beating.
Shen Tingyan, in his school uniform, looked tall and slim, not at all the type you’d expect to have such strength.
His movements were quick and precise, his punches heavy enough to draw blood from a nose with just one hit. He showed no signs of stopping, targeting the most painful spots. After just a few rounds, cries of pain echoed beneath the tree.
Blood splattered on his school shirt, and with his handsome face, there was an eerie, violent beauty to the scene.
Su Wan sucked in a sharp breath, even just watching felt painful.
From this scene, one could faintly see the vindictive nature that would define him in the years to come.
One student lay on the ground, curled up and clutching his stomach, sweating and cursing, still muttering filthy words. Shen Tingyan stepped on his back, his expression cold.
At this moment, the two students kneeling behind him, their faces bruised, exchanged a glance. One of them slowly pulled out a small knife from his pocket.
He slowly began to move toward Shen Tingyan.
Just one step and he could stab him in the back, teaching this bastard a lesson, showing him that not everyone can be messed with.
They were getting closer, but Shen Tingyan remained oblivious.
They were almost there—
“Thud!”
A backpack suddenly dropped from above, hitting one of their heads. The bag wasn’t heavy, but the surprise impact stunned the attacker.
Shen Tingyan reacted quickly and turned his head, seeing the student who had been screaming as he collapsed to the ground, the knife clattering to the floor at his feet.
He saw the familiar pink cartoon backpack.
“…”
Su Wan stood in the corner, her tone calm as she said, “Fighting is one thing, but doing something like this is going too far.”
The leader of the group, who knew Su Wan, shouted with an angry, hoarse voice, his face contorted in pain.
“Su Wan, I’ve helped you beat him before, why are you turning on your own people now?”
“Who’s your ‘own people’? When did I teach you to use a knife to harm someone? Can’t you play fair?” Su Wan’s tone was icy and flat, but it always made her sound like she was mocking them.
Hearing a girl speak to them like this in front of everyone, their faces turned red with embarrassment.
Su Wan remembered how these guys had often bullied others in her name. Even if the original owner of this body had been malicious, she wouldn’t have spent all her time thinking about who to beat up every day.
With such a terrible reputation, they had their share of the blame.
But how could boys, only in their teens, have such malicious thoughts?
Su Wan usually didn’t like to get involved in other people’s business, but that didn’t mean she could just stand by and watch such a tragedy unfold in front of her.
She stepped forward, picked up the backpack, and looked at the group. Suddenly, she narrowed her eyes. The familiar look made them all shiver.
Sure enough, Su Wan hadn’t changed!
“If I catch you doing this again, believe me, you’ll be done for in this school,” she said.
Her voice was sweet and soft, but it rang like a death knell from a demon.
As soon as the words left her mouth, the expressions of the boys changed, and without a word, they scrambled to their feet and ran off, even forgetting the basketball that had fallen on the ground.
