Chapter 9: Sacrifice for the sake of justice

Yang Mumu slapped her thigh and cried dramatically. “Damn it! I saw their affair at a glance, but I never imagined they were having sex in Yang Qianqian’s room in broad daylight, and… and three of them! 

A threesome! Oh god, they betrayed me, and they humiliated me like this! My innocent eyes are going blind!” What? Three… three? The people who had arrived late with the police widened their eyes.

I suggest you investigate Xu Qiang and Li Yuhua; their relationship is also inappropriate.” Xu Qiang and Li Yuhua: “You’re talking nonsense!”

Auntie Wang didn’t back down: “Look, they’re getting angry. They probably threatened Mumu. Poor Mumu! She was hurt by her fiancé and her stepmother and stepsister. Everyone probably had their eyes on the property left by Yang Gong for Mumu; they wanted to seize the inheritance.”

Zhao Bing bowed and apologized to Yang Mumu, “Mumu, we Zhao family are sorry.” He then turned to the police officer, “Comrade, take them away.” The onlookers were shocked, “Wow, Director Zhao is actually condemning his own family!

That’s rare!” Officer Liu had gathered enough information, found the drugs and the prescription in Yang Qianqian’s room, and obtained confessions from Li Yuhua and Zhang Cuilan, solidifying the case.  With the case solved, he took the suspects away, preventing Zhang Cuilan and the others from harming Yang Mumu. They left without needing to be urged, afraid of staying in that hellhole. Li Yuhua didn’t want to stay there either and ran away with them. “Everyone, disperse.”

After Officer Liu shouted this, he turned to Yang Mumu and gave her some advice. “You’re alone now. Be careful, especially with your relatives and stepmother. If anything seems wrong, keep a stick by your bed for self-defense. If anything else happens, remember to tell us at the police station. We’re happy to serve the people.” Yang Mumu felt warmth in her heart and nodded, “Thank you, Officer. I will.”

 “Okay, we’ll also arrange more patrols in the area. We’re leaving now.” As soon as the police left, the onlookers began to leave, some staying to chat.
