Chapter 20 Internal Recruitment
It’s Shen Yan.
Su Yu stopped, hesitated for a few seconds, but still walked past.
She walked straight past him, didn’t say hello to him, but walked straight towards the sales center.
Shen Yan caught a glimpse of that figure, his eyes darkened.
The person beside him followed his gaze and was amazed, “Mr. Shen, do you know her?”
So tall!
Shen Yan didn’t answer, just withdrew his gaze lightly, took long strides with his slender legs, and walked in.
Su Yu wore a butterfly tie shirt, paired with a high-waisted slim-fit hip skirt, her hair tied in a low bun, a lovely goose egg face with delicate features.
Standing at one meter seventy-five, she was enough to attract everyone’s attention.
The staff at the sales center all cast their eyes towards her.
Su Yu was already immune to such looks, she went straight to the front desk.
“Hello, may I ask if your sales department is still hiring?” Su Yu politely inquired.
She happened to ask the front desk’s on-site customer service.
The on-site customer service looked about the same age as her, with a sweet appearance.
She looked up at Su Yu, slightly surprised.
Such a beautiful woman, with such a pleasant voice!
“Are you still hiring here?” Su Yu asked again.
“Um…” The on-site customer service was momentarily stunned, then regained composure, putting on a professional smile, “I’m sorry, we are not currently hiring here.”
As expected, just as Su Yu thought, the other party wouldn’t easily disclose information to her.
Su Yu persisted, “I saw the advertisement hanging outside, doesn’t it say you’re hiring?”
The on-site customer service still wore a professional smile, “I’m sorry, we are not hiring at the moment.”
Su Yu pursed her lips slightly, “Alright, sorry to bother you.”
The on-site customer service still smiled, “It’s okay.”
Su Yu turned and left the front desk, casually scanning the surroundings, heading towards the restroom.
Usually, the HR department is next to the restroom.
Su Yu walked over and casually glanced at the door, just in time to see someone interviewing inside.
Big companies are different, first they advertise externally to attract talent, then they use internal connections to recommend talent, and finally select the candidates.
Although she had already guessed it would be like this, she still wanted to give it a try.
A few minutes later, the girl who was interviewed walked out, Su Yu quickly pretended to go to the restroom and walked in.
Coincidentally, the girl who was interviewed also entered the restroom.
Shen Yan walked to the front desk, asked about the situation just now, and then looked meaningfully towards the restroom.
Su Yu stood in front of the mirror, pretending to touch up her makeup.
The girl also opened her bag, took out her compact powder, and started touching up her makeup.
Su Yu looked at the girl in the mirror and casually asked, “Are you here for an interview too?”
The girl also looked at Su Yu through the mirror and nodded, “Yes, are you here for an interview too?”
Su Yu leisurely applied lipstick, “Yes, a friend recommended me.”
Making friends out of strangers.
“I was recommended too,” the girl said.
Su Yu achieved her goal, smiled, “That’s a coincidence, maybe we’ll be colleagues in the future.”
The girl also smiled, they chatted casually for a bit, then left the restroom separately.
Exiting the sales office, Su Yu looked at the girl’s back and felt a bit emotional.
With such a large developer, it’s difficult to get in without knowing anyone, mostly through internal recruitment recommended by old salespeople.
She didn’t know anyone, it was indeed a bit difficult to get into Yanhe.
Thinking of this, Su Yu furrowed her brows slightly.
It gets dark early these days.
As the sky gradually darkened, the street lights outside the sales center lit up.
Su Yu looked up at the bright street lights, sighed lightly, she was about to face the problem of finding a new job, feeling really annoyed.
Shen Yan watched as Su Yu’s white BMW X3 drove away, his eyes narrowed slightly.
“You han, give me a list of today’s interviewees, organize it later and send it to my email.”
You Han: “Yes, Mr. Shen.”
…
Su Yu drove past a roadside stall and suddenly remembered that she hadn’t eaten at a roadside stall in a long time.
She found a place to park her car, called Mu Ran.
The call went through, but no one answered.
Su Yu thought she was busy, so she hung up.
But not ten seconds later, Mu Ran called back.
Su Yu swiped to answer and put it on speaker.
“What’s up? Just showering,” Mu Ran said.
“I haven’t done much, just missed you,” Su Yu leaned back in the car seat, looking at the night sky.
“Stop joking around, just let it out!”
“Are you still in Haicheng? Come out and have dinner with me.”
“You’re lucky, I just flew to Haicheng today. Where are you? Send me the address, I’ll come find you in a while.”
While talking, Mu Ran had already wrapped herself in a bathrobe, with a dry hair cap on her head.
“Okay, I’ll send it to you now.”
“Great.”
Ending the call, Su Yu sent the address to Mu Ran.
An hour later, the dishes were served, and Mu Ran appeared very punctually at the entrance of the food stall.
She was bare-faced, wearing a loose black t-shirt and denim shorts, with a pair of white sneakers, looking simple and fresh.
Su Yu stared at her white legs, “Aren’t you cold?”
The late September night was a bit chilly, especially on the streets where the wind blew, feeling cool.
Mu Ran walked over with a smile, “I didn’t bring many clothes, so I’ll manage.”
She pulled out a chair and sat down.
Su Yu helped her set the tableware, pushed it in front of her, and also served her a bowl of lamb soup.
“Have some to warm up, don’t catch a cold,” Su Yu said.
“You sound like an old mother, nagging all the time,” Mu Ran teased, but obediently picked up the bowl and took a big sip of the lamb soup.
“I’m afraid you’ll catch a cold coming out to have dinner with me, then I’ll be to blame.”
Su Yu also served herself a bowl of lamb soup and took a few sips.
She picked up a piece of lamb, dipped it in sauce, and put it in her mouth.
Mu Ran glanced at her sauce, then at her own empty plate, “You’re adjusting the sauce for yourself, not even giving me some?”
“You arrived just in time, I didn’t have time to adjust it, so let’s just go with this. Do it yourself.”
Mu Ran snorted, pouted, took the condiments, and started adjusting them herself.
“Last time, I heard you mention that the project was going to be liquidated. Have you decided whether to continue at Hengda or look for another company?” Mu Ran suddenly asked.
“I went to a company today to test the waters, over there… it’s all about connections… to get in,” Su Yu was burned by the lamb in her mouth, making her speech unclear.
Seeing this, Mu Ran poured her a glass of coconut water.
“I suggest you fly with me on the same flight, then we can meet more often,” Mu Ran suggested.
Su Yu took a sip of coconut water, shook her head, “Forget it, I’m not interested, besides, you won’t be flying for many more years.”
“You talk as if you’ll have many more years of flying,” Mu Ran retorted.
Su Yu replied, “Well, at least I earn more than you.”
