Chapter 4 Work Card

Su Yu is the sales champion of the sales department, taking leave is an easy thing.

After washing up at the hotel, she called a car and went straight back to her apartment. The location was not far from their sales office, and it only took ten minutes by car.

Su Yu is twenty-five years old this year, graduated from university for three years. Originally, she should have gone to an airline, but she chose to be a site salesperson.

She has a best friend named Mu Ran, who chose a professional airline that matched her major. She has always been puzzled why Su Yu, who had a good flight, insisted on doing such a high-pressure job.

Su Yu answered her like this at the time, “I don’t want to earn that flight hour fee. I heard that sales make money quickly.”

In fact, when Su Yu said this, she was gambling in her heart. She was not sure if she had the ability to be a good salesperson.

But reality has proven that beautiful women can indeed benefit to a certain extent. Of course, Su Yu herself is very clever and handles things very well.

She stayed in Hengda Group for three years, from a rookie to a top sales elite, because Su Yu’s performance has always been very good. The company intended to promote Su Yu to be the project sales director, but she refused. Su Yu felt that it was already difficult for her to manage herself well, let alone manage others. So, she gave the position of sales director to her colleague Chu Yao.

With a good appearance and good business ability, Su Yu has also made a name for herself in this industry.

After taking a bath in the apartment and changing into a new work uniform, Su Yu went out to drive to the company.

Knowing that there must be drinking at the dinner last night, she didn’t drive.

When she arrived at the project, as usual, the first thing Su Yu did was to go to the bathroom to fix her hair.

Chu Yao happened to come out of the bathroom and saw Su Yu applying lipstick. She walked up and washed her hands, “You suddenly disappeared last night. We thought you met some bad people at the bar.”

Chu Yao’s words brought back the crazy and romantic memories of last night for Su Yu.

And that beautiful face.

Su Yu wiped off the lipstick accidentally drawn on her middle finger and smiled lightly, “Maybe it’s true.”

Chu Yao thought she was joking.

Looking at Su Yu in the mirror, Chu Yao smiled and teased, “With your appearance, you are really tempting. If I were a man, I would want to pounce on you immediately.”

Su Yu put away the lipstick, smiling charmingly, “Sister Yao, do you want to give it a try?”

Meaning that she would let her pounce.

Chu Yao jokingly scolded, “Get lost, you really took it seriously.”

In the company, Chu Yao and her have a close relationship, and they often exchange banter.

The two of them walked out of the bathroom one after another, and Chu Yao slapped Su Yu on the butt, “Your face is really seductive. Those clients see you and wish they could swallow you.”

Su Yu waved her hand with a smile, “It’s not that serious. I’m still a very innocent and kind girl.”

“Pah, stop pretending. You didn’t say that when you were drinking last night.”

“Last night? What did I say last night?” Su Yu pretended to be clueless.

The two of them continued bantering all the way to the front desk.

“Sister Yao, I’ll take over now, it’s my shift.”

“Where’s your work badge?” Chu Yao stared at Su Yu’s chest.

On the other side, Shen Yan returned to the hotel.

He wanted to come back and see if Su Yu had left.

When Shen Yan pushed open the door, there was no one inside.

But the messy bed and the chaos on the bed proved that something indescribable had happened here last night.

Shen Yan walked closer to the bed, and the bloodstains on the sheets made his eyes squint slightly.

Shen Yan muttered to himself, “Really the first time?”

He thought Su Yu was just talking casually.

When Shen Yan was about to leave, he found Su Yu’s work badge at the door.

On it was her name and the name of her project.

“Su Yu, not a bad name.”

Shen Yan smiled and put the badge in his pocket.

Su Yu losing her work badge wasn’t a big deal.

She just didn’t know if she lost it at the bar or at the hotel.

Chu Yao applied to the HR department on Su Yu’s behalf, saying that she needed a new work badge.

Every day before leaving work, they would have a routine daily summary meeting.

Su Yu sat on the sofa, playing with a pen absentmindedly, her mind filled with scenes from last night.

She thought of Shen Yan’s handsome and stern face, his sharp features, and his deep peach blossom eyes, which made her heart beat faster for some reason.

Unconsciously, she remembered the man’s words from last night, “Can I?”

Thinking of this, Su Yu’s cheeks flushed, quickly shook her head, trying to push that man out of her mind.

Chu Yao looked at Su Yu strangely and asked, “Su Yu, why is your face so red? Are you feeling unwell somewhere?”

Su Yu snapped out of it and pretended to be calm, “No, I just accidentally stepped on my own foot.”

This excuse sounded lame.

Chu Yao: “…”

Since Su Yu said that, Chu Yao didn’t continue to ask further.

After the meeting, Su Yu picked up her bag to leave but was stopped by Chu Yao.

“Su Yu, wait.” Chu Yao walked quickly over with a thermos cup in her hand.

With her bag already on her back, Su Yu turned around, looking puzzled, “Sister Yao, is there something else?”

“The developers have two key clients that need to be entertained. Director Zheng asked you to come with me.”

Su Yu frowned slightly, sighed, “Okay, I thought I could get off work early today and go back for a beauty sleep.”

It seems like the beauty sleep will have to wait.

Chu Yao looked distressed, holding the thermos cup against her chin, “I know, my husband has already cooked dinner and is waiting for me. Now he can only eat alone.”

Su Yu was caught off guard by Chu Yao’s display of affection.

It was well known in the company that Chu Yao and her husband had a good relationship.

Su Yu teased, “Oh, I know your husband spoils you.”

Su Yu drove back to the apartment, got into Chu Yao’s car, and went to the dinner.

The dinner was held in a private kitchen restaurant in a villa area in the city center.

Just as Su Yu and Chu Yao entered the private room, the key clients from the developers arrived.

Chu Yao leaned in close to Su Yu’s ear and whispered, “Director Zheng said these two clients are big customers. Securing their deals will mean more than just two units.”

Su Yu softly acknowledged.

Sometimes when key clients buy a property, they might introduce relatives and friends to make a purchase as well. If this chain can be connected well, it could lead to substantial income.

Director Zheng followed the key clients into the room.

“These two are Mr. Li and Mr. Chen.” Director Zheng introduced Su Yu and Chu Yao to them.

Su Yu and Chu Yao hurriedly stepped forward, greeted Mr. Li and Mr. Chen, and introduced themselves.
