To be honest, at this moment, Su Ge was feeling shocked. 

Even though she had already guessed that Rong Shi might not know the directions (east, south, west, and north), when this guess was confirmed by Rong Shi himself, she still had a surreal feeling of disbelief. 

Although Su Ge didn’t know much about Rong Shi’s past, judging from his title, he should have been a soldier, right? As a soldier, how could he say he didn’t understand the directions? The “east, south, west, and north” directions used by Earthlings are based on the sun. This theory makes sense within the solar system, but it might not hold up in the vast universe. However, if it doesn’t hold up, why use it on this barren planet? 

Does this mean that the objective environment of this barren planet might be similar to that of the solar system? 

“What are east, south, west, and north?” After answering Su Ge’s question, Rong Shi asked the question he was most concerned about once again. “Yes.” 

Rong Shi touched his chin and pondered a bit. This barren planet should have an interstellar environment similar to Earth’s, and there should be a star similar to the sun nearby. If that’s the case… 

His gaze returned to Su Ge, and he gave her a diplomatic smile, courteous yet distant. He extended his hand toward Su Ge: “I remember, this is how you greet in the solar system, right?”

“I am Rong Shi.” 

When Rong Shi said this, he did not say “My name is Rong Shi” but used the word ” I am,” which made him sound extremely confident, as if the whole world should know him. 

“Su Ge.” Su Ge’s name was typical of the ancient Chinese language on Earth, a pronunciation absent in the interstellar common language. So, when she said her name, she used Chinese. 

Chinese is famously the most difficult language to learn on Earth, with many non-Chinese people struggling to pronounce it correctly. However, Rong Shi repeated it a few times and managed to say the two characters quite accurately, impressing Su Ge with his learning ability. 

As the initial awkwardness between Su Ge and Rong Shi dissipated and they successfully teamed up, the various planets watching them had already begun heated discussions.

“This place has good cover.” Rong Shi nodded, agreeing with Su Ge’s assessment, but then his face lit up with a brilliant smile. “But there’s no danger.” 

Su Ge: “How do you know?” Have you been here before? Is this your backyard? You’re so sure—are you just being argumentative? 

Rong Shi: “With me here, there’s no danger.” 

Su Ge: “…”
