Would You Confess Your Love To A Mafia Heiress? Chapter 96

Chapter 96: Nicholas Racoon

“In the city of ruins, within a dilapidated house.

Su Jiang stood by the window on the second floor, his hand holding binoculars, observing the situation in the distance.

“Wow, there are quite a few people.”

Through the binoculars, Su Jiang saw dozens of Feng family members, setting up camp in the central abandoned square.

Several large tents were set up around them, with a bonfire burning in the middle, illuminating the small area.

“I don’t see Feng Chengye or Rose…”

Su Jiang frowned, were they inside the tents?

“Su Jiang, maybe we should just leave.”

Li Cai squatted beside him, still unconvinced: “We can’t make a move if they’re hiding in the tents, we should go back and rethink our strategy.”

“Su Jiang sighed softly at Li Cai’s words and turned to look at Wangcai in Hua Qing’s arms.

Should he send Wangcai to check things out?

No.

Even if he knew which tent Feng Chengye and Rose were in, he wouldn’t be able to shoot them.

Unless the system gave him a cheat that allowed him to see through things.

“I need to figure out a way to get them out…”

Seeing Su Jiang ignoring him and lost in thought, Li Cai looked despairing and clutched his head in pain.

Great, he hadn’t listened to a word he said.

This kid was only focused on fighting now.

He still remembered the first time he met Su Jiang, the boy wasn’t like this.

What went wrong, what made Su Jiang become like this?

Li Cai couldn’t figure it out.

“K-King, I have an idea.”

At this moment, Hua Qing raised his hand, speaking softly.

“Before Su Jiang could speak, Li Cai looked at Hua Qing with disbelief.

Dude?

You’re actually offering advice?

Unbeknownst to him, Hua Qing’s thinking was simple. Since he couldn’t resist Su Jiang anyway, he might as well just try his best to get this done.

If he succeeded, he wouldn’t have to die.

“Oh? What’s your idea?” Su Jiang looked at Hua Qing with interest.

“I-I’m just offering a small suggestion, okay?” Hua Qing said cautiously. “We don’t necessarily have to fight them, do we?”

“For example?”

“Maybe we could… try to get rid of their backup resources?”

As soon as he said that, Su Jiang’s eyes lit up, while Li Cai put his hand on his forehead in despair.

“Right!”

Su Jiang exclaimed excitedly: “We can’t fight them directly, but we can blow up their supplies!”

“And doing that will definitely draw Feng Chengye and Rose out. Then I’ll take them out one by one.”

Su Jiang finished speaking and clapped his hands together: “We’ve got this!”

“Brother, those things are guarded. How are you going to blow them up?” Li Cai asked.

“The old way!” Su Jiang raised an eyebrow and said: “You forgot?”

“Outskirts.” He pointed to the ground.

“Factory.” He pointed to the tents in the distance.

“Rats.” He pointed at Wangcai.

Li Cai’s eye twitched. He felt like these three words would be permanently etched into his DNA, impossible to erase.

Hua Qing stood there dumbfounded, not understanding what Su Jiang meant.

Too abstract.

“As expected of Brother Li Cai, even though the Cold Noddle King spoke so abstractly, you understood his meaning.” Hua Qing took the opportunity to flatter Li Cai.

“Shut up.” Li Cai said with a black line on his face.

If you had experienced that ridiculous night, you would understand too.

Li Cai took a deep breath and looked around, saying: “But, we don’t have any explosives.”

Su Jiang chuckled at his words and took off his backpack, unzipping it.

Li Cai and Hua Qing leaned in to look.

“Holy crap!”

Li Cai exclaimed, seeing that Su Jiang’s backpack was filled to the brim with explosives.

Nothing but explosives.

Li Cai and Hua Qing immediately broke out in a cold sweat, looking at Su Jiang in fear.

This bastard, he carried a bunch of explosives on his back and walked with us the whole way?

If something unexpected happened and a bullet hit Su Jiang’s backpack…

The consequences… the two of them couldn’t even imagine it.

Hua Qing suddenly glanced at Wangcai in his arms and felt a bit of admiration.

He remembered that Su Jiang put the squirrel in his backpack and brought it with him.

Which meant that Wangcai had been in the backpack with all those explosives for several hours?

“You’re a demolition expert, huh?” Li Cai said with a light scolding: “You carry so many explosives, aren’t you afraid of being blown up?”

“What are you saying, you don’t trust your own explosives?” Su Jiang asked in surprise.

I don’t understand why you’re so trusting, Li Cai thought to himself.

Su Jiang grinned, just as he was taking out the explosives, he suddenly froze.

He looked at Wangcai.

Then he looked at the explosives in his hand.

Then he compared them.

“Damn!” Su Jiang slapped his thigh, “It’s screwed, Wangcai, a single rat can’t carry so much explosives!”

“Who, me?” What’s it to me?

Wangcai gnawed on a chestnut, looking confused.

“What… what do we do?”

Su Jiang turned to Li Cai, a little dazed.

The last time they blew up the factory, it was a group of mice brothers who helped.

But here, there was only one squirrel, and it was clear that he couldn’t carry so much explosives.

“What the hell do I know?” Li Cai cursed, “Why are you asking me?”

Su Jiang blinked and asked Wangcai, “Do you have any relatives or friends here?”

“Huh?  What’s that?  What are you asking me?”

Wangcai was dumbfounded.  “Do you even want to listen to what you’re asking?” he thought.

“Or maybe there’s a squirrel who used to date you, living on this island?”

Wangcai said nothing.  He now felt that Fugui was right.

This human was crazy.

“Maybe… maybe we can have Wangcai run back and forth a few times?”

Hua Qing suggested, but he was quickly hit in the head with a chestnut by Wangcai.

“Squeak, squeak, squeak…”

Wangcai kept scolding Hua Qing.

Hua Qing didn’t understand, but Su Jiang did.

The scolding was very vulgar.

When he said that, even Li Cai couldn’t help but look at him and say:

“Your nine years of compulsory education shouldn’t have been the ‘Human Education Version,’ it should have been the ‘Human Language Version.'”

How could you even suggest that?

“Is that a human suggestion you’re making?”

“With that much explosive, you want it running back and forth? You wouldn’t be able to move it all by dawn!”

“And squirrels have squirrel rights too, they need to rest.”

“Are you treating them like your personal slaves?”

“Forget it, Su Jiang, just stop.” Li Cai tried to persuade him. “We’re in this deep, we have no other choice…”

“Don’t worry, I have a plan!” Su Jiang interrupted, raising his hand.

“How many more tricks do you have up your sleeve?”

Li Cai was exhausted and looked out the window, his face full of despair.

“Life is hard,” Li Cai sighed.

“Stay here, don’t go anywhere, I’ll be back soon.”

Su Jiang finished speaking, and before they could respond, he ran downstairs.

The two men and the squirrel stood there, stunned. Li Cai had a bad feeling about this.

Two hours later.

Su Jiang returned, appearing before them.

Li Cai and Hua Qing’s mouths hung open slightly, staring at the large creature Su Jiang was holding in his arms, falling into endless silence.

“Hey, let me introduce you to my new friend!”

Su Jiang lifted the raccoon high, excitedly saying: “This is Nicolas Racoon!”

“G-g-g?” Nice to meet you?

The raccoon waved its paw, greeting Li Cai and the other man.
