Chapter 22
“Sisi? Are you okay?”
Coming back to her senses, Qi Sisi saw Liu Yuqi and Wang Jinghan looking at her worriedly. She smiled with relief: “I’m fine. Anyway, I’m fine now, don’t worry.” “
Since you said so, let’s reluctantly accept Comrade Zhao as your partner.” Wang Jinghan sighed and finally chose to bless him.
After all, it’s our friend’s life, and what’s done is done.
“I wish you a happy wedding and a long and lasting love.”
“Thank you.”
Qi Sisi smiled and hugged the two of them.
After the conversation started, the atmosphere became much more cheerful and the topic was not so serious anymore.
“Sisi, how do you feel after getting married?” Wang Jinghan put his arms around her neck, smiled intimately, and said with a wink: “Comrade Zhao has been pursuing you for so many years. Now he has got what he wanted. He must have troubled you a lot, right?”
These words were so explicit that Qi Sisi almost choked on her own saliva and coughed violently twice.
After he came to his senses, he knocked her on the head and cursed, “You silly girl, you’re not even married yet, how come you know so many things?”
Wang Jinghan felt pain, holding her head and crying aggrievedly, “I heard from those gossips that newly married men are very fierce, but I don’t know what’s so fierce about them…”
Thinking of the man’s madness yesterday, Qi Sisi fell strangely silent.
Finally, he said, “You’ll know when you get married.”
“Just tell me, we have such a good relationship.” Wang Jinghan persisted.
Liu Yuqi grabbed her collar and said, “You little girl, you are so curious. Why don’t you read a few more books?”
Wang Jinghan, whose curiosity was not satisfied, was finally strangled by Liu Yuqi and had to follow her obediently.
Qi Sisi, who stayed where she was, breathed a sigh of relief.
Subconsciously, he lowered his head and touched his neck.
She had specially put on foundation this morning to cover the mark. Wang Jinghan rubbed it a few times just now. Should it be okay?
Thinking of Liu Yuqi’s attitude just now…she sighed.
Liu Yuqi has a special sexual orientation and is extremely resistant to marriage. At the beginning, Liu’s parents thought that she had not met the right person yet, so they kept urging her to get married and arranged blind dates for her until things broke out.
Liu’s father is a typical male chauvinist. He cannot accept that his daughter likes a woman of the same gender, so he forces her to get married and chooses a man who seems honest but is actually a coward.
Liu Yuqi was unwilling to betray her love, so she jumped from a tall building the night before her wedding and was crushed to pieces.
Liu’s parents lost their daughter and spent their days in a daze, crying and regretting that they had forced their daughter to get married. Unfortunately, she could not come back.
Liu Yuqi’s life will forever remain at the age of twenty-seven.
Maybe I can help her in this life?
The bell rang –
class was over.
Qi Sisi collected her thoughts and walked towards the office.
Zhao Xingyu was sitting next to her, holding a textbook in his hand.
“Sisi.”
After taking a closer look, it turned out to be her own lesson preparation.
Qi Sisi had just breathed a sigh of relief, but then she remembered that she hadn’t looked at the textbook for several days and didn’t know what she was going to teach the students later, so she immediately became worried again.
“Give it to me. I haven’t read the textbooks in the past few days.”
As she said this, she secretly glared at the man.
Everything that should have been prepared yesterday was ruined by this man.
Zhao Xingyu touched his nose, feeling guilty.
It was because he was too excited yesterday and couldn’t control himself… Primary
school textbooks are relatively simple, and Chinese mostly involves explaining the text, recognizing words, and assigning homework.
Qi Sisi flipped through it twice, and her memory gradually came back to her, and she felt more at ease. She had already prepared her lessons for this semester and could just do it the same way as usual.
“Have you finished reading it?”
Zhao Xingyu was a little surprised. She just glanced through it briefly, and that was it?
“Of course.” Wang Jinghan interrupted, “Sisi is very hardworking and has already finished preparing for this semester’s lessons.”
Her words were full of pride. Those who didn’t know might have thought that Sisi was his wife…
Zhao Xingyu pursed his lips and praised, “Sisi is so amazing!”
After a while, everyone in the office went to class.
“Shall I find you some books to read?”
Qi Sisi suggested. There was a cabinet of books in the office. In addition to those provided by the school, there were also books brought by teachers themselves. They were usually kept there and anyone who wanted to borrow them could do so.
“Okay!”
Zhao Xingyu responded without hesitation.
Even though he joined the army early, his academic performance was as good as Qi Sisi’s and he was always the top student in his grade.
Qi Sisi stood aside picking books.
He pushed his wheelchair over and his eyes stopped at the trophies on the bookshelf. They were won by teachers in the school in competitions and were placed in the office to decorate the office.
The walls are covered with award certificates from the school.
“By the way,” Zhao Xingyu looked at her with some hesitation in his eyes, “You still remember the martial arts competition, right?”
Qi Sisi nodded: “What’s wrong?”
“Come to think of it, I don’t know what your prize is!”
The martial arts competition jointly organized by several troops is not an ordinary small event, and I think the prizes will not be bad.
Zhao Xingyu’s expression was gloomy. “The leader said that he recommended me to go to military school for further studies.”
If the training goes well, he will get a certificate and a higher military rank after graduation.
“This is good news!”
After the joy, Qi Sisi felt something was wrong, “Why didn’t I hear you say it before?”
“I…”
“You don’t want to give up?” Qi Sisi looked at him in surprise and rubbed his hair, “Zhao Xingyu, don’t be stupid!”
Zhao Xingyu sighed, “I can’t hide it from you.”
“Before, I was thinking about staying in the army to recuperate and lure that guy out, now… I don’t want to be separated from you.”
“Life is long, don’t be stupid, otherwise I won’t let you into the house!”
Qi Sisi put her hands on her hips and glared at him fiercely.
“No, I’ll go, okay?”
Zhao Xingyu thought that even if he went to the military academy for further studies, he would have to wait until the person behind the scenes was caught. Now that his leaders didn’t even know that his leg was healed, he could still stay there for a while longer.
“Well, be obedient!”
Qi Sisi put her hand on his head and rubbed his hair.
You’re not even to mention.
This height is just right.
“Sisi, why do I feel like you are touching my head like you are touching a dog?”
Zhao Xingyu had a strange feeling on his face. He wanted to say it just now.
“Yes, you are my puppy.”
Qi Sisi followed his words and laughed.
His loyalty is like that of a dog, only more so.
Zhao Xingyu was not angry. Instead, he grabbed her hand and gently bit the base of her hand. “You’d better be careful. Your puppy will bite people.”
Qi Sisi shrank her shoulders.
It’s not that the bite hurts.
She subconsciously remembered the way this man bit her in bed yesterday. It was crazy and charming, and it left a deep impression on her… “He
really likes to bite people.”
Qi Sisi pondered and concluded.
“Then tell me, what should I do?”
Zhao Xingyu grabbed her hand and placed it on his lips, kissing it gently, murmuring in an almost worshipful and obsessive tone: “Keep the puppy close to you, and he won’t bite anyone else, and will only guard you.”
