After the final exam, the school gave a day off.
Cheng Chu wanted to take advantage of this holiday to have a good rest but was pulled out of bed by her mother early in the morning.
“Wait after breakfast, take your brother for a walk, and buy some New Year’s goods.” Fu Rong took a sip of milk and turned to face Fu Xun with a kind smile, “Just buy what Xiao Xun likes, and treat it as a New Year’s gift from your aunt.”
Fu Xun nodded, smiling innocently, “Thank you, Auntie.” In the past few days, Fu Xun’s parents went to different countries to celebrate the New Year, and they had no plans to bring this son with them.
The soft-hearted Fu Rong scolded her brother fiercely, then turned around and asked the driver to go to Fu’s house to pick up Fu Xun, so that he could spend the New Year with peace of mind.
In winter, the cold wind is bleak, and the heater is on in the car, which is as warm as spring.
The driver parked the car at the mall entrance and let the two people down.
“What do you want to buy?” Cheng Chu shrank and walked quickly to the mall before turning around and asking Fu Xun.
The young man put his hands in his pockets, “I don’t want to buy things here, let’s go shopping elsewhere.”
Cheng Chu felt that he was here to prank people. I went out after putting on a sweater, and now I want her to go shopping elsewhere, and she must freeze to death.
“Can’t we just hang out here? I’m cold,” she said bluntly.
The young man himself was wearing a thick padded jacket, wrapped like a ball. He raised his eyes and said lazily, “Then go buy some clothes to put on now.”
There was nothing to say.
Five minutes later, Cheng Chu wore a newly bought padded jacket and walked out of the mall with the boy.
The cold wind in winter is icy and biting, the New Year is almost here, and the streets that are not very prosperous on weekdays are crowded with people.
Cheng Chu wandered aimlessly with Fu Xun for a while, and finally couldn’t help but say, “What are you going to buy? Can we go home if you don’t buy it?”
She was really tired, and her feet were sore when she walked.
Away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area, there are fewer and fewer pedestrians around.
There was a video store at the end of the street, soothing music was flowing slowly, Fu Xun stopped and walked in.
“Choose,” he said, turning around.
“What?” Cheng Chu was a little stunned from the moment he entered the video store. This kid usually likes to play games, and when did he have more fun listening to records.
The lights in the store were dim, the boy lowered his eyes, and a hint of red appeared on his ears.
“Don’t you like music, just choose whatever you want.” He scratched his head, his tone was stiff, “I made progress in the final exam this time, and the teacher praised me, so let’s take it as a thank you gift.” The light reflected in his long and narrow phoenix eyes, and a little light softened his angular face.
Facing the radiator, the warm wind blew on Cheng Chu’s face, making her heart itch.
She smiled, and the coldness of the winter faded from her face, “You still have some conscience.”
“Hey, you can’t buy too many, ten at most, you know?” Fu Xun said stiffly.
He spends a lot of money, and usually buys a lot of games or something, so he doesn’t think ten records are many.
Cheng Chu, who only wanted to pick a few symbolic ones, was suddenly happy. It turned out that the bottom line was so high.
“Okay.” She smiled and nodded.
Half an hour later, Cheng Chu walked out of the video store with Fu Xun, holding the ten albums he had picked.
When the cold wind blew in the winter, Cheng Chu, who had been sleepy at first, instantly woke up.
“Let’s find a place to sit.” Cheng Chu pointed to the milk tea shop across the street: “Let’s have a drink there, I’m a little tired.”
“Okay, girls are delicate.” Fu Xun said in his mouth. Although he was disdainful, he still followed Cheng Chu into the milk tea shop obediently.
A touch of sweet fragrance is tangy, and the decoration of the store is bright off-white, which makes people feel bright.
T/N: So the original schedule didn’t work for me. Yeah, so I spontaneously dump chapters. Normalization of update schedule: Probs never gonna happen.
P.S. Dropping the rest of chapter 26 over the next two days.
