Transmigrated as the Lord’s Darling Pet
Transmigrated as the Lord’s Darling Pet Chapter 12 part 1

After bullying his younger brother, Fu Yunzhou felt refreshed and considerably more at ease.

However, Fu Yunzhou’s expression quickly turned serious. He was aware of his own condition while it hadn’t worsened, he still wasn’t as healthy as a normal person.

Previously, he had taken on all the responsibilities himself and hadn’t paid any attention to Fu Yushen’s situation. It was only after they exchanged places today that Fu Yunzhou realized how foolish his actions had been.

Fu Yushen was already an adult, yet he showed no sign of wanting to take on any responsibilities. He continued to act playfully, handling everything with a carefree attitude.

If someone like Fu Yushen were to face a crisis one day, how would he be able to support the entire company?

With a sigh, Fu Yunzhou pinched the bridge of his nose.

The next morning, when Fu Yunzhou came downstairs and saw Yuan Xi still dressed in formal attire, he couldn’t help but chuckle as he sat down at the dining table. “Yuan Xi, you know you can wear something else. Xingyao Entertainment doesn’t have strict dress codes; you don’t have to wear formal clothes all the time.”

Yuan Xi glanced down at his outfit and looked at Fu Yunzhou in confusion. “Is there something wrong with what… I’m wearing?”

Fu Yunzhou’s expression was somewhat uncertain, unsure of how to address Yuan Xi’s choice of outfit.

Yuan Xi’s outfit was perfectly fine but given his cute appearance, he looked like a teenager wearing adult clothes when dressed so formally.

Even though Yuan Xi had been an adult for a while, this situation still created a sense of incongruity.

As a result, Yuan Xi in formal attire appeared a bit awkward and out of place.

“No, it’s nothing.” Fu Yunzhou said, hesitating. “It’s just that it’s really not necessary to be so formal here; you can wear your own clothes.” He avoided mentioning the real reason and, glancing at Yuan Xi’s outfit as he added casually. “Besides, it’s just me in the office who will see how you dress. You don’t need to dress so formally; it makes me feel a bit uncomfortable.”

After saying that, Fu Yunzhou worried that Yuan Xi might misunderstand his words or think he was implying that he didn’t suit formal clothing. So, he quickly added. “It’s fine for me to be serious in the office but you can dress more lively. It’ll make things feel less stiff.”

After Fu Yunzhou spoke, Yuan Xi looked down at his clothes then glanced at Fu Yunzhou’s outfit before quietly heading upstairs to change.

Although Fu Yunzhou didn’t say anything, Yuan Xi was perceptive enough to realize that he simply didn’t suit formal clothing after comparing their outfits.

When Yuan Xi came downstairs again, he had changed into his usual attire: a simple sweatshirt paired with jeans, which made him look much younger.

It had to be said that in this outfit, Yuan Xi radiated energy, resembling a college student just stepping out of campus, full of youthful vitality.

Especially with his bright, expressive eyes and the little dimples that appeared when he smiled, he looked incredibly adorable.

Hearing the noise, Fu Yunzhou looked up and smiled, nodding in approval. “Nice! You look great like this.”

Yuan Xi’s ears turned red. The frustration he felt about not being able to wear formal clothes vanished completely upon receiving praise from his idol.

With Yuan Xi keeping an eye on him, Fu Yunzhou had completely swapped his usual breakfast coffee for milk and lighter soups like wonton soup.

Although he felt a bit dissatisfied, Fu Yunzhou decided it was better to obediently listen to Yuan Xi rather than argue with him.

Aunt Zhang was very pleased about this change. She knew that coffee could be quite harmful to the body, especially given Fu Yunzhou’s poor health. While she wasn’t sure what had prompted this transformation, seeing him ditch the bad habit and even drink soothing porridge in the evenings was a pleasant surprise for her.

After breakfast, Fu Yunzhou took Yuan Xi to work.

The day before, they hadn’t seen many people in the office, but as soon as they entered the lobby today, they noticed a group gathered together, each person holding an A4 sheet of paper.

Fu Yunzhou’s photo had never been circulated, so no one in the crowd recognized him as the heir of the Fu family.

Dressed in a dark suit, Fu Yunzhou stood out next to Yuan Xi, who wore simple, casual clothing. As a result, many people in the lobby turned their attention to Yuan Xi, either sizing him up or sizing him up with ulterior motives.

Feeling somewhat uncomfortable, Yuan Xi instinctively stepped back, hiding behind Fu Yunzhu as he kept his head down and followed him to the elevator.

Since the lobby was crowded, Fu Yunzhou opted not to take the executive elevator with Yuan Xi, hoping to avoid any unnecessary trouble. As a result, they attracted even more attention while waiting for the regular elevator.
