Transmigrating into the Villain’s Sickly Childhood Friend Chapter 40.2

After confessing their identities, Ajiao’s demeanor changed a lot. She no longer looked like an innocent, naive girl, always tucked a pistol around her waist, and looked solemn with a leadership demeanor.

Although they wandered in a daze and dark, they had a good sense of direction and they remembered the direction of arrival.

Furthermore, Qiao Wen had experience in field troops and expeditions, and Jiang Yufeng had traveled all over the world, so recalling the route map was not a problem.

So in no time, a rough layout of the route map was drawn, then the two parties began to work out the action plan.

The three of Jiang Yufeng, Chen Jianan, and Azhi were all good at fighting. If they were fighting in combat, they would be standard laymen, but when it comes to making plans, they could give very little effective advice.

However, in the process of discussion, Qiao Wen showed amazing talents. If the three of them didn’t know his identity, they might think that he had fought on the battlefield. Amidst their astonishment, Qiao Wen explained that he usually read some military books, and reminded Chen Jianan, who was about to show admiration for him, to read more books in the future.

Chen Jianan immediately put on an expression that the wind was too strong for me to hear.

The final plan formulated was to attack the Ansha headquarters at night two days later.

It would be false to say that he should not be concerned, since he has just escaped from the hell gate, and now he wants to jump into the wolf’s den. As for Chan Jianan, he shed lots of blood, even though he was recovering well in the last few days and claiming he was fine, but Qiao Wen didn’t believe it. Let alone going to the battlefield, even walking such a long distance, his body might not be able to bear it.

The night before departure, Qiao Wen took a shower and returned to the house, Azhi and Jiang Yufeng were sitting in the same spot smoking and exhaling the clouds – he suspected that their cigarette case was a bottomless pit, so many days has passed but it had not finished yet.

Chen Jianan was sitting on the floor and lowered his head to remove the gauze from his waist and abdomen. Qiao Wen walked over while wiping his hair “Brother Nan, wait, I’ll help you.”

Chen Jianan let go of his hand: “How did you tie this gauze? It’s quite difficult to remove.” He asked with a smile.

Qiao Wen sat down beside him and explained, “It has to be removed from the back.”

Chen Jianan turned around and turned his bare back on him.

Father Chen strictly forbade him to have tattoos, so he didn’t have large tattoos on his body like other members of the society, only the word “patience” was engraved on his left shoulder. His uncle was said to be his master, seeing him hot-tempered, he tried to make him learn to be patience. Later, when his uncle passed away, no one beat him like him, so he went to tattoo the word so that he could always remember his master’s teachings.

Qiao Wen carefully unwrapped the gauze, “Does it still hurt?”

Chen Jianan turned his head to face him and pointed his finger at the wound on his abdomen: “It’s just such a big injury, it’s okay.”

Qiao Wen looked down at his wound. Indeed, it was not large, just the size of two coins. A black scab had already formed on it, and there was no apparent redness or swelling around it, so it didn’t seem serious.

“You have to take care of it, don’t touch it. Tomorrow night’s action, you are with me, don’t rush ahead.”

Jiang Yufeng on the side chimed in: “Yes, you two and Azhi follow behind in line. I will lead the battle with them. If you see something wrong, you three run away quickly and don’t worry about me.”

“Brother Feng, I know you want to kill Ansha to avenge the dead brothers, but tomorrow don’t rush in front. If something happens to you, we won’t have a good time back in Hong Kong City.” Qiao Wen said.

“That’s also true.” Jiang Yufeng sighed, “Don’t worry, since I brought you here, I will definitely bring you back myself.”

Qiao Wen nodded and said after much consideration. “These people are well-trained and rich in combat experience. We can lead the way. Once entering the headquarters, we don’t have to rush to kill people. We have nothing to do with other countries fighting. To put it bluntly, only Ansha has enmity with us, his soldiers are innocent.”

Jiang Yufeng sighed: “Awen you’re kind-hearted. Compared to you, I am really a villain with blood on my hands.” He said with a self-deprecating smile, “I don’t know if a person like me will go straight to hell after dying?”

Chen Jianan: “Brother Feng, don’t say that. At least you’ve been taking good care of us and you’ve never been a bully.”

Jiang Yufeng shook his head with a smile.

While they were chatting, Ajiao pushed the door in with two plates of fruit, one for Azhi and Jiang Yufeng, one for Qiao Wen and Chen Jianan.

“Thank you.” Qiao Wen said while taking the fruit plate,

After the two parties confessed their identities, they knew that Ajiao could speak a little English. The two of them didn’t have to communicate through Azhi, and they didn’t need to gesture like mute people.

Ajiao said: “Thank you for helping us. When our revolution is victorious and the country is liberated, if I have a chance, I will go to Hong Kong City to see you.”

Qiao Wen nodded with a smile: “Good”

Ajiao had already seen, while making the rapid plan for these two days, that this seemingly soft young man had wisdom beyond his years, and could be considered the wise man among them all. The battle plan he gave was so rigorous. If it wasn’t for the fact that he was powerless, she would have doubted that he had received professional military training.

The two chatted briefly in English for a while before she reluctantly bid goodbye.

Chen Jianan, who was eating fruit, listened carefully with his eyes wide open when they were chatting, and nodded cooperatively from time to time. So people who didn’t know thought he could understand English.

It was not until Ajiao left that he asked, “What did you guys chat about?”

Qiao Wen said with a smile: “To reconfirm some details about tomorrow.”

Chen Jianan nodded: “I guess so.” After a pause, he said, “I originally thought Ajiao was a girl from the mountain, but I didn’t expect that she could speak English.”

“It’s still very useful to know some english.” Qiao Wen muses: “So, returning to Hong Kong, you also learn English. More or less, it will be convenient in the future.”

“No… is it useful for your daily conversation? It’s not like you don’t know that I don’t like studying.”

Qiao Wen said: “Not everything in the world is likable, but it will still be useable. So it’s a deal, I’ll personally teach you later.”

A previous chapter mentioned a side character seeing a tattoo on his arm. It must have been that he was wearing a tank top that day and what they actually saw was his shoulder.
