Transmigrating into the Villain’s Sickly Childhood Friend Chapter 40.3

Chen Jianan dramatically wailed and fell on the floor: “I suddenly felt that this village in the mountains and old forests is not bad, at least there’s no need to study.”

Jiang Yufeng finally finished the smoke, after stomping the cigarette on the ground, he got up and walked in while saying: “Anan, if you want to get ahead, you have to read more books, otherwise you will only be in the club for a lifetime. I know which you don’t want to, right?”

“That’s true,” Chen Jianan sat up, “But I’m not study material. I used to be at the bottom of every test in school. Even my father lost count of how many times he beat me for this.”

“I’m not asking you to go to college.” Qiao Wen continued: “Just learn some everyday English. It’s not that difficult, right?”

“Yaww— ” Chen Jianan pretended to yawn, turned over, and slapped his butt: “I’m so sleepy…sleeping, these unimportant things, we’ll talk about it later.”

“Be careful of the wound.” Qiao Wen didn’t know what to do with this stubborn man and patted him lightly.

Chen Jianan groaned and closed his eyes, pretending to be sleeping and lying straight without moving.

Qiao Wen shook his head speechlessly swallowed the only banana left on the fruit plate and lay down to get ready to sleep.

After being in this world for some time, unbeknownst to him he got used to the identity and his place. What he missed at the moment was the simple home in the walled city.

The night was gone, and the morning flashed past to the evening. Ajiao’s side prepared a sumptuous meal: one was to bid farewell to the two parties, and the other was to get ready to set off for the Ansha headquarters in the mountains.

After the meal, everyone set off, and the four led the way, and nothing seemed out of line. But the problem was banknotes which were still buried under the big tree at the entrance to the mountain.

Chen Jianan started to feel pain in his abdomen, holding his stomach he slowed down, seeing this Jiang Yufeng asked Azhi to lead the way, while he and Qiao Wen supported him, trying to keep up with them, gradually the trio left the line and reached the tree, where money were hidden.

In this era, 100 dollars wasn’t a small sum, let alone Two Million dollars which no one dared to dream of. With this huge sum even the dead can come back to life let alone mere people and after being deprived by the war, it was just a matter of a second for normal people to turn into deadly bandits.

Chen Jianan and Jian Yufeng hurriedly started to dig the bag under the ground, while Qiao Wen stood at the entrance and kept safeguarding it.  As they were too immersed in their work they didn’t hear a footstep approaching.

“Hey, how are you guys?”

Ajiao’s voice suddenly sounded in the front. Just as they dug up the money and put it into the bag.

The three jolted awake and became alert. By now the team had already gone some distance away, but seeing her return, all three were bewildered and their expression changed slightly.

Qiao Wen was first to reach, laughing back he replied to her: “Brother Nan felt pain in the injured area, so he’s taking a rest for a while. You don’t have to worry about us, we will keep up.”

Ajiao walked over, glanced at the three luggage bags, and smiled: “I’m afraid you guys fell out of line. The jungle is too dangerous at night, so don’t walk separately.”

“Well.” Qiao Wen nodded his head and helped Chen Jianan: “Brother Nan, then you hold on, it’s really impossible to rest.”

Chen Jianan nodded his head and walked up.

Ajiao led the three to follow the troops. After walking for a while, she said seriously: “Awen, you risked your lives to help us complete the task. I will remember this kindness in my heart and never let people touch the things in your bag.”

Qiao Wen was taken aback by her sudden statement and of course, only he knew what she was saying, he turned his head and met her gaze, and the corner of his lips curled up in a smile: “Thank you.”

War makes people become ghosts, but there are always normal people.

Compared with the night they fled, with these experienced guerrillas, it can be said to be very smooth. This was the only direction to the Ansha headquarters. The other sides, unobstructed by the mountains, were all stationed at his camp, enveloping the headquarters.

Two 0’clock in the morning.

A few meters ahead of them was the only checkpoint. Finally, the long-anticipated battle begins. Everyone had a gun in their hands, but on this silent night gunfire could alarm the nearby camp, so there was no use for it, and had to rely on the blade.

Ajiao’s members silently submerged in the grass, sliding towards the checkpoint like a snake, while the remaining hid in the place. At first, Qiao Wen was still worried, but after seeing their skillful moves his heart calmed down a little. Ten minutes later, the checkpoint light struck them a few times in the same place where they were hiding.

Ajiao: “It’s done!”

Even Jiang Yufeng was surprised: “Is this really all right?”

His question was left unanswered the team had continued to crawl forward. It was late at night, and except for the soldiers on the night patrol, the command headquarters had already fallen into a deep silence.

The occasional patrolmen were also brought down silently by the Ajio’s group leaving no breath behind. The group followed the previously planned route and sneaked into the headquarters in a ghostly manner.

Previously, Jiang Yufeng thought about killing his enemies with his own hands, but only now did he realize that there was no room for him to use his skills. This was simply a group of terrifying killing machines.

There was no gunshot, only occasionally a painful groan, but it was gone before it came to sound.

The headquarters, including guards and beauties, and there were no more than thirty or forty people in total, and they were all killed in their sleep like this. Qiao Wen, who was born and grew up under the red flag was first time seeing this kind of terrible murder scene. However, in the dark night, he didn’t clearly see the cruelty in his own eyes, where he couldn’t even see his finger. But guarded in the darkness of the sentry, he clearly smelled the rich blood.

Even though it was a hot jungle area, he still couldn’t help shivering, at this moment. Just then a warm hand covered his cold hand, and Chen Jianan whispered in his ear: “Xiao Qiao, don’t be afraid. I am here.”

Qiao Wen was not afraid but felt that the war was too cruel, but Chen Jianan’s hands still made him feel ironed, and he whispered back: “Brother Nan, I’m fine.”

The hands of the two were clasped tightly in the dark.

It feels like a century has passed in what seems like a matter of moments. Ajiao ran in front of them and said, “It’s all done. Comrades are already carrying grenades in the warehouse. Come in with me and put on military uniforms.”

A few people entered the Ansha room, and the wolf who almost killed them was already lying on the floor with two beauties, bloody.

Ajiao took a few uniforms and threw them, saying, “You guys change your clothes, I will find if there are any important items in Ansha.”

However, just as Qiao Wen was putting on his uniform, he suddenly sensed that something was wrong on the bed. He turned his head to see that it was Ansha, who was already dead, suddenly raised a gun into the air.

Seeing him about to pull the trigger, Qiao Wen’s body seemed to be assisted by divine power at that moment, and jumped two meters away. Grabbing Ansha’s hand holding the gun and pressed it down, while he picked up the pillow next to him with one hand and pressed it on his face.

In the end, the gun was still fired, but Qiao Wen was pressed against the pillow tightly, and there was only a low muffled sound, followed by Ansha’s muffled groan of being shot under the pillow.

The people in the room reacted to what had happened, and all were nearly terrified.

If Ansha successfully fired this shot into the sky, everything would have been fall tonight.

The moment Chen Jianan came back to his senses, he stepped forward almost immediately, and dragged Qiao Wen away from the murder scene: “It’s okay, he is already going to die. You didn’t kill anyone, you are saving us all.”

Originally Qiao Wen was also frightened. His nervous reaction made him react that way and relax a bit: “I’m fine.”

Ajiao came over and directly bowed 90 degrees and said a serious thank you.

Qiao Wen didn’t need this thank you, but he was sure the money in their bag was safe.

This time Ansha was really deade, Qiao Wen found a gasoline tank, splashed it on the wooden board in the house, and lit a candle. A group of people put on the uniform of the Ansha army, pushing the grenade towards the dock.

The patrolmen at the pier could not have guessed that an army had washed their headquarters in silence. Thinking the general had ordered them to temporarily transfer arms, and even assisted them in carrying grenades into ships, standing on the shore, saluting and seeing them off.

A few minutes later, the direction of the headquarters was blazing with gas. The surrounding camps immediately fled toward the source of the fire, and no one cared about the two departing ships.

Sitting on the deck they watched the drifting chaotic scene in the distance and felt relieved, and let out a long sigh.

When it was almost dawn, they saw that there were normal villages and boats nearby, so they decided to say goodbye to these people for fear that the night would be too long.

Ajiao knew what they were thinking and ordered the helmsman to stop the boat temporarily and let them go down to the nearby passenger boat dock.

“Thank you all! Have a safe trip.” Ajiao shook hands with them one by one, like a revolutionary comrade.

Qiao Wen: “I wish you a smooth revolution soon.”

Ajiao nodded with a smile, returned to the ship, stood on the deck, and waved goodbye to them.

Qiao Wen felt that this girl seemed to be shining with a ray of light. No matter what the future held, revolutionaries who shed their heads and blood were always worthy of praise.

But it was also after wholly losing sight of them all that he had the illusion of being truly free from the devil’s cave.
