“Yunzhou, I… I don’t have anything I’m particularly passionate about. Did I do something wrong? Do you think there’s something I’m not doing well?” Yuan Xi looked at him in a bit of a panic, standing up and wanting to explain himself.

“I really do like this job, though. I don’t think it’s bad.”

Fu Yunzhou chuckled softly, watching Yuan Xi’s flustered reaction. He relaxed his tone. “I don’t think there’s anything wrong with you, and you haven’t done anything wrong. I just think maybe you could try something else.”

Yuan Xi looked at Fu Yunzhou nervously, about to say something in defense, but Fu Yunzhou interrupted him before he could speak.

“Yuan Xi, I really don’t think there’s anything wrong with you. I just suddenly feel like you’re wasting your potential in this position. Director Li told me that during your free time, you go downstairs to watch the trainees practice, and sometimes even sneak into their lessons. I just hadn’t paid much attention to it before.”
