Chi Yizhen caught up to He Tiao, who had sped up his pace slightly, and the two of them arrived on the fourth floor, one after the other.
However, the key was with Chi Yizhen, so He Tiao had to wait patiently at the door.
After a few steps, Chi Yizhen looked back at He Tiao and jokingly said, “Aren’t you waiting for me?”
He Tiao nodded and replied, “I’m waiting for you to open the door.”
Chi Yizhen turned to ask the production crew behind him, “Who should do the individual interview first, me or him?”
He Tiao added, “Do you want me to go first?”
Chi Yizhen pondered, “How should we decide?”
The wooden door creaked open, and Chi Yizhen had never felt a day drag on so long. As soon as he entered the room, he collapsed onto the bed, then abruptly sprung up and looked at the sofa.
“It has been changed!”
He Tiao was startled by his sudden exclamation. “What?”
Chi Yizhen said, “The sofa!”
He Tiao had almost forgotten about this matter. He glanced at the sofa, then back at Chi Yizhen, and suddenly felt a bit awkward.
“I’ll sleep on the sofa tonight.”
Chi Yizhen hadn’t responded yet when the director’s voice suddenly came from the room.
“You can’t do that.”
Chi Yizhen was about to swear out loud.
He Tiao was left dumbfounded. He looked at the source of the voice in confusion. He was certain that there was no such small speaker on the table before he and Chi Yizhen left.
[Hahaha, the production team has gone mad! This is terrifying!]
[We thought E-God was quite cute! He even shivered a bit just now!]
[The production team is bolder than we are. Why are you making real couples sleep separately? It’s not like you’re fighting.]
[He Tiao should have offered to share the bed. That would have been a solution.]
[At this point, I think they’re testing the strength of their relationship.]
He Tiao asked, “Why can’t we?”
While he went to boil some water, he added, “Even real couples argue sometimes.”
The speaker, shaped like a lifelike flower vase, emitted the director’s weathered tone, “Couples on the verge of divorce aren’t allowed to sleep separately.”
[That’s harsh.]
[Chi Yizhen doesn’t look like he’s involved; he’s laughing like an onlooker!]
He Tiao was at a loss for words. He forcefully placed the kettle filled with water on its base.
But he didn’t align it properly at first, causing the water to spill.
[E-God, you don’t seem very smart.]
[The not-so-smart E-God indeed skipped a grade in school…]
[The not-so-smart E-God started from scratch and is now a wealthy bachelor.]
[The not-so-smart E-God is now married.]
The room was quite small, and Chi Yizhen could see everything clearly. He stood up, took off his coat, and said to He Tiao, “Since they don’t want us to argue, why don’t we just start arguing tomorrow?”
Chi Yizhen had no filter when he spoke, “Let’s start acting well from tomorrow.”
[Is that something you can say?]
[Wait… what just happened?]
He Tiao’s husband on the livestream: “Aren’t you supposed to act as a husband? Are you a real wife? (Facepalm)”
The director said, “Can you both tone it down a bit?”
Chi Yi zhen replied, “Sure.”
As he removed his coat and contemplated taking off his sweater, he hesitated and asked, “Director, don’t we have any premium content? Is it okay for me and my husband to undress and sleep for free? Isn’t that inappropriate?”
He had no intention of keeping quiet for a moment, and at this point, he was coming up with his own ideas for the show.
In the livestream, Chi Yi zhen stood in the room, looking around and smiling brightly. Then he suddenly exclaimed, “Are the people watching all adults?”
The director was left speechless.
[Paying for premium content is fine! We’re VIP members, but we can understand why there’s a fee!]
[Damn it, can I watch some hidden content with my early access subscription?]
The director said, “We’ll cut the camera once you go to sleep.”
Chi Yizhen hung up his coat and opened the wardrobe while contemplating what to wear tomorrow. He asked, “What if I don’t sleep at all?”
The director responded, “None of us will get to sleep.”
He Tiao had something in mind to say, but the next moment, Chi Yi zhen was called for an individual interview.
Now, the room was empty, with only He Tiao left.
The director continued to chatter, “E-God, you can do as you please. Pretend we don’t exist.”
He Tiao:…
[Can you really pretend we don’t exist?]
[Chi Yizhen left for just two minutes, and He Tiao looked at the door three times!!]
[He really seems camera-shy, avoiding it the whole time…]
He Tiao found it hard to tolerate the director’s behavior with the speaker but politely asked, “Could you please leave?”
The director asked, “Huh?”
He Tiao inquired, “Do the other guests’ rooms have speakers too?”
The director responded, “It’s a trial run now, the first episode, and we lack experience.”
He Tiao directly picked up the speaker and said, “No need to try; it’s not suitable.”
He didn’t say another word and just opened the door, throwing the lifelike flower vase speaker outside.
The staff outside the door looked shocked. Just as He Tiao was closing the door, he asked, “Is this thing expensive?”
The staff member unconsciously shook their head.
He Tiao said, “Deduct it from my fee.”
The audience in the livestream only saw He Tiao carrying the speaker to the door.
Then, they heard He Tiao’s cold voice.
[How many faces does this guy have? He’s so confident now…]
[Are all your social phobia people like this?]
[It feels like he just threw the director away with a thud. Did it land in that metal trash can at the door?]
[Hilarious. I’ve felt since this morning that he’s not pleased with this show, although he’s quite polite…]
[Hello, everyone! Settling personal scores has always been a virtue of our E-God.]
Chi Yizhen finished his individual interview, and He Tiao came over. As a result, when he returned to his room, he didn’t immediately notice the missing flower vase.
After taking a shower and coming out, Chi Yizhen was planning to have a chat with the director, but there was no response.
Chi Yizhen looked at the table and asked, “Hey, where’s our director’s clone?”
With his hair half-dried, Chi Yizhen picked up his phone on the livestream and finally opened Weibo, exclaiming, “Wow.”
[True love for watching drama.]
[This couple is quite compatible.]
Chi Yizhen took a glance at the livestream and suddenly had a feeling of nested dolls.
When He Tiao returned, he found that the lights were turned off.
After showering and going for the interview, he felt uncomfortable with that segment and decided to wash his face again when he got back.
He Tiao thought Chi Yizhen had fallen asleep. He first stood by the bed, using the nightlight at the bedside to take a look at Chi Yizhen, who had turned his back to him and was sleeping against the wall. After hesitating for a moment, he decided to sleep on the sofa.
Regardless of what the production team says, even if I were to ask Zhang Miya for a favor, I still can’t…
But before He Tiao could finish his thoughts, the person on the bed suddenly attacked and pulled him over.
In the end, He Tiao ended up on the bed, and the blanket rolled up. In the eyes of the viewers in the livestream room, it looked as if Chi Yizhen had pressed He Tiao down and was directly riding on top of him.
It was too close.
The livestream room was now filled with excitement.
He Tiao’s heart was pounding in his throat.
But Chi Yizhen only briefly rode him, then turned over.
“Don’t sleep on the sofa. I’m afraid that we’ll be punished as a couple at the end.”
His voice was sleepy, and the scents of shampoo, shower gel, and the new sheets mixed together, making He Tiao’s face turn red.
He Tiao thought, “I’m not afraid.”
But it seemed like Chi Yizhen could guess what he was thinking.
“I still have a lot of debt to repay, my husband. Are you afraid of me?”
