Chapter 22: Don’t Kiss Me (Part 2/2)

[“The other two pairs are still diligently adapting, but I feel like this pair has completely entered the groove…”]

[“Acceptable except for the excessively high looks; after all, it’s easy to become popular with such appearances. Even that hairstylist can become an internet celebrity.”]

Chi Yizhen’s experience as a model came from childhood, and he found that the original host didn’t have much experience, so he didn’t act much and relied on intuition.

But some of these outfits didn’t leave anything to the imagination, interpreting sensuality perfectly and even making it difficult for He Tiao to eat.

However, Chi Yizhen still couldn’t agree, thinking that if you couldn’t even eat enough, there was no time for that kind of thing.

Especially the waist-cinching series.

Chi Yizhen felt very hot.

Chi Yizhen collided into He Tiao’s arms, a bit slow in reaction, and a nasal sound escaped him.

Seeing that it was He Tiao, he didn’t say thank you, didn’t push away, calmly glanced at the camera position, and buried himself in He Tiao’s embrace.

Stirring up a bit more wouldn’t be bad, anyway, He Tiao wouldn’t get into this line of work.

However, the aftereffects of those shutter clicks prompted him to feel nauseous. After burying himself for a few seconds, he quickly withdrew and rushed to the restroom.

He Tiao, holding the lunchbox, asked the nearby photographer, “Is he always like this?”

The female photographer smiled brightly, noting He Tiao’s simple attire and lunchbox. Her gaze then fell on his expression, understanding that he was a guest on the show.

But still, cooperatively, she asked, “Who are you?”

While leading He Tiao to the front desk, The photographer hurriedly explained, “He is Mr. Chi’s boyfriend.”

She exclaimed, “Chi Yizhen is like this when filming. If you don’t know, you might think he’s pregnant.”

She was utterly unreserved, making jokes so obvious that even the staff from the production team were stifling their laughter.

[“Haha, damn!”]

[“The barrage of laughter in several rows is hurting my eyes, but it’s really hilarious.”]

[“That description is spot on. My little bit of affection suddenly turned into condemnation for E-god?? So easy to relate!”]

[“Can we say this?”]

[“This makes sense too! But we’re not in a world where men can get pregnant!”]

[“E-god’s expression management is out of control, a classic scene…”]

He Tiao: He was speechless, put the lunchbox aside, and went to find Chi Yizhen.

After their interaction, the production team seamlessly edited the footage together.

Chi Yizhen rinsed his mouth with a paper cup and happened to see He Tiao approaching just as he finished. The timing was perfect, as the shooting had just ended. Chi Yizhen also splashed his face to wake up.

With water droplets still on his face, he smiled at He Tiao, “Why did you come?”

Seeing Chi Yizhen in the live broadcast room or in photos didn’t provide the same visual impact as seeing him in person.

Especially in the state of wearing the waist-cincher, He Tiao frowned, pointing to the waist-cincher that Chi Yizhen hadn’t taken off yet, “Isn’t it uncomfortable?”

“No wonder you feel like throwing up.”

Chi Yizhen nodded, “It’s uncomfortable.”

He then heard laughter from outside, “What are they talking about? They’re laughing so happily.”

He Tiao: “They’re saying you’re pregnant.”

Chi Yizhen exaggeratedly exclaimed, swiftly grabbing He Tiao’s hand and placing it on his own abdomen.

He Tiao jumped, visibly trembling. Chi Yizhen laughed, “Cousin, you didn’t take that seriously, did you?”

Only a fool would take it seriously.

But He Tiao didn’t say that out loud. He glanced at Chi Yizhen’s wet bangs and subconsciously wanted to reach out but hesitated and pulled back.

Chi Yizhen: “Did you come to pick me up?”

He Tiao shook his head, “I brought you food. I didn’t expect it to finish just in time.”

Chi Yizhen didn’t have time to check He Tiao’s live broadcast room again. He felt like he was juggling multiple jobs at the same time, busy and nauseous.

Fortunately, the post-production team adjusted the shooting schedule, or he suspected he would have fainted for sure.

But now, he felt no different from wanting to faint.

He Tiao’s gaze remained on Chi Yizhen’s waist. “Can you take it off now? Let’s eat.”

He Tiao always thought his aesthetic sense was decent, and Chi Yizhen’s waist-cincher looked good, accentuating his upright and imposing figure.

However, Chi Yizhen’s condition surpassed He Tiao’s appreciation.

Chi Yizhen tossed the paper cup aside and affectionately leaned in, “Sure.”

He Tiao nodded and was about to turn towards the way back when unexpectedly, Chi Yizhen grabbed him and ran.

The camera crew was stopped at the fitting room door.

He Tiao stood in front of the mirror, asking seriously, “Do you want me to help you take it off?”

Chi Yizhen nodded with a smile.

He Tiao knew there were people outside and that the sound was being recorded, but the absence of a camera made him feel much more relaxed.

His hand grabbed the end of the drawstring but didn’t pull it open. Instead, he leaned in close to Chi Yizhen’s ear and asked, word by word, “Even though there’s no camera, you still want me to help you take it off?”

He was already tall, but there was no sense of oppression, perhaps due to the social anxiety that hung over his head.

But at this moment, with no one around and the only exit from the enclosed space being watched by the camera, the situation was different.

Chi Yizhen: “Immersive variety show, of course… Ah.”

Suddenly, he was pressed against the full-length mirror.

He Tiao held his shoulders, staring at the reflection of Chi Yizhen in the mirror, and asked, “Is it the immersion of a real couple?”

Before Chi Yizhen could answer, he was embraced, and He Tiao lowered his head, as if about to kiss him.

But he didn’t actually touch, just came very close.

However, He Tiao raised his voice, “Don’t kiss me.”

Chi Yizhen: ???

You’re quite good at acting.
