Turns Out, My Husband Is The Real Young Master Chapter 24.2

Chapter 24: “He Held Me So Tight” Page 2/2

[What is he looking at? So serious…]

[Is this Line 18? I just came out, and the advertisement in the tunnel is for You Yuxing’s lipstick.]

[Why does the lipstick ad look so menacing… but he’s still so handsome.]

[Chi Yizhen leaning against He Tiao’s neck is so cute. They match so well. I hope it’s not just acting!]

[They really match well, and Chi Yizhen is really good at choosing. This subway isn’t too crowded…]

[Even though there’s no seat, it’s still good. This posture feels so warm.]

The cameraman stood aside as He Tiao took out his phone, making sure not to capture his own image.

He opened a chat with someone on WeChat and asked:

– You mentioned in your Moments that there’s a movie casting for ages 24-28.

– Has it been cast?

Perhaps because He Tiao rarely initiated WeChat conversations, the other person seemed pleasantly surprised. The quick response reflected the other person’s eagerness and anxiety.

– Senior!! You actually messaged me on WeChat!!

– The movie role has already been cast, and they chose Su Nange.

He Tiao didn’t recognize the name, but he felt a bit disappointed.

He replied with an “Oh.”

Just as he was about to lock his screen, the other person sent another message:

– Senior, aren’t you filming a variety show? Why suddenly ask about this?

He Tiao: Your company is so big, I wanted to give Chi Yizhen an opportunity.

The other person: Oh, I’m freelancing now and not planning to film artistic movies anymore.

– This is the script for a short video I’m currently preparing to shoot.

Upon seeing the first half of the message, He Tiao had intended to end the conversation, but he unexpectedly caught sight of the title of the script the other person had sent:

– “Cold Master, Pretty Wild Dog”

What on earth.

He Tiao was already too lazy to type, so he sent an emoji.

But the other person was a bit persistent.

– Senior, are you trying to find an opportunity for your boyfriend from your show?

– Are you two really together??

– I watched a bit yesterday; he’s really handsome and suits you well.

He Tiao, strangely, didn’t exit WeChat. He asked: Does your company still sign artists?

The person on the other side of WeChat happened to be Qi Tianda, the son of the eccentric entertainment mogul who had introduced He Tiao to Zhang Miya.

This young master had a different approach from his father; he enjoyed creating quick, snackable videos for the niche market but hadn’t abandoned his own interests. However, the evident lack of synergy in their styles resulted in unprecedented failures in the movies he produced.

The last time He Tiao remembered him was when Qi Tianda made headlines for getting drunk and picking a fight with a dog on the street after being scolded by his biological father.

Qi Tianda: We do sign artists, but it’s quite rare. Generally, we prefer to judge based on their work.

Qi Tianda: Senior, you’re not really falling for your boyfriend from your variety show, are you?

His incessant chatter rivaled that of Star Trail’s Deputy General Manager, Bai, making him the type of talkative person He Tiao disliked the most.

But in this situation, he had to swallow his pride, and He Tiao reluctantly raised a sense of modesty, still not fully understanding what Qi Tianda was getting at.

The idea of starting a film and television company crossed his mind.

In the next moment, he suddenly felt he might have gone a bit too far. There was no connection whatsoever with Chi Yizhen, and it wasn’t necessary. Besides, his foundation was not yet stable.

He Tiao: Oh, then send me any audition news.

Qi Tianda: It might not have been possible before, but now Zhang Miya dares to use him. Also, the program just started airing, and Chi Yizhen’s popularity is reviving. There’s still a chance.

Qi Tianda: The main thing is that Sheng Xin has spoken up before, and everyone will give some face.

Sheng Xin again.

He Tiao instinctively looked up and saw the quickly passing advertisement for You Yuxing.

Thinking of Chi Yizhen’s sobbing that night and his occasional melancholic expressions in the program, He Tiao couldn’t help but sigh almost imperceptibly.

He asked Qi Tianda: Is Sheng Xin very capable?

Qi Tianda: Sheng Xin himself is not much, but his family is powerful. However, there are rumors that he has a bad relationship with his parents now because he went too far regarding the Chi family’s affairs.

Chi Yizhen still leaned on He Tiao, his breath spraying on He Tiao’s neck. He Tiao had one hand on the armrest and the other holding his phone, showing no intention of hugging him. At first glance, it seemed a bit cold.

The audience in the live broadcast also felt the same.

[Although very youthful, E God still seems like the same E God, with aloofness ingrained in his bones.]

[Haha, but his self-control is impressive. He even has time to play with his phone.]

But the next moment, He Tiao leaned towards the side, didn’t pull the armrest again, and freed up one hand to embrace Chi Yizhen’s waist.

Chi Yizhen asked in a drowsy voice, “Are we home?”

This sentence sounded like a murmur in the audience’s ears, almost stirring up all kinds of feelings of tenderness and immersion.

He Tiao couldn’t escape either. He was almost enchanted by this “home,” and his heart began to beat uncontrollably.

His foster parents were very kind to him.

Before discovering that he was not their biological child, He Tiao still had a feeling that it was difficult to completely integrate.

In fact, he had introspected many times.

Was it because of his foster mother? No, that woman had devoted almost all her efforts to raising him.

The second foster father was also very kind to him, and his little sister was cute.

They never demanded anything from He Tiao despite his achievements. On the contrary, they thought he was spending money recklessly when he bought a house for the family.

There was no issue with his family; the problem was with him.

He Tiao also considered whether he would have this feeling if he had grown up with his biological parents.

The answer was clear.

He was born this way, enjoying solitude, and loneliness didn’t affect him. Even with friends going in and out of relationships, He Tiao wouldn’t feel envious.

He thought he was the type who would end up lonely, as others often described.

Living a life of solitary old age in He Tiao’s eyes wasn’t pitiable; achieving self-fulfillment in solitude was okay.

But at this moment, he had a feeling that his heart was completely filled.

In an ordinary scene, the post-work subway car was filled with weary commuters, most of them wearing headphones or watching popular TV shows.

The station announcements and the brightness of the lights were the same as before, yet He Tiao felt that everything was different.

He couldn’t control the force he exerted, as if he wanted to embed Chi Yizhen  into his embrace.

Chi Yizhen felt a bit uncomfortable but instinctively leaned against He Tiao’s shoulder.

His hair was a bit long but didn’t give off a feminine vibe. When he smiled, he was vibrant, casting away the inherent melancholy in his features. With closed eyes, he seemed like a cool moon, distant and unattainable.

He Tiao thought: Take it slow.

At this moment, he felt the impulse to create something, reminiscent of the determination he had when he first decided to start his business.

Chi Yizhen was like He Tiao’s second entrepreneurial venture. He felt an infinite curiosity and a desire to conquer Chi Yizhen. He wanted to explore the secrets within him and understand the reasons for the ambiguous closeness between them.

This scene was edited into the first segment of the official selected clips of ” My Days in the Apartment Building.”

As the story progressed, Chi Yizhen became a sensation. When someone asked him about the scene, saying, “Mr. Chi, what were you feeling at that moment? This scene is comparable to a romantic movie, the atmosphere is so good, very romantic,” Chi Yizhen didn’t respond conventionally. He sighed before speaking.

“At that time…”

“I felt like vomiting.”

The host exclaimed.

Chi Yizhen nodded, “Really, he held me so tightly, and I was already uncomfortable. I almost couldn’t hold it in.”

The man who had become the dream lover of countless people after shedding his title of Best Actor in the video responded, blinking his eyes, “Looking back now, it seems he really liked me for a long time.”
