After everything was settled, Yuan Hanshuang joined the psychic training class.
It had only been a week since school started, and the students were still unfamiliar with each other. Seeing this new transfer student who was also unfamiliar, most of the attention was drawn to her C-level status and her rare, dazzling golden hair.
As soon as Yuan Hanshuang sat down on the playground, someone from another class came over to talk to her.
“Are you also a C-level?”
Noticing the word “also,” Yuan Hanshuang looked up.
Although they were about the same age, the ancient young master, who was a head taller than her, stood in front of her with a condescending look.
From the moment she awakened, the staff had briefed Yuan Hanshuang about this young master’s background.
It seemed that even reincarnation was a skill.
“Hey, I’m talking to you, and you dare to ignore me?”
Yuan Hanshuang was momentarily distracted, and the young master became unhappy.
Young Master Gu had been a troublemaker since he was young. With his distinguished background, he was admired wherever he went on 1999 Star. He had never experienced such indifferent treatment before.
“Oh, I’m sorry, I have hearing problems.”
Seeing that the young master didn’t remember her, Yuan Hanshuang had no intention of reminiscing. Instead, she responded quickly and smoothly.
The moment she apologized, Young Master Gu felt like he had punched cotton. It didn’t feel like hitting anything, neither soft nor hard. He choked on the words he wanted to say.
He stood there, changed his scrutinizing gaze, and looked at the little girl with golden hair from head to toe.
She was petite, with a slim chin, wearing tattered clothes with two colorful fabric patches, giving her a withered appearance. The only thing that looked good on her was her bright golden hair.
Young Master Gu had always lived in luxury and had never known what it meant to have patched clothes. Even if he saw them, he would only furrow his brows, thinking it was some new fashion trend.
Considering the girl’s hearing problem, the young master activated the light brain on his wrist, which displayed text on the screen.
– I’m the leader of Class 1.
He crossed his arms, looking down with arrogance. “You’re new here. Maybe you don’t know, but if you don’t challenge me, Class 2 will be under my control from now on. Do you have any objections?”
This statement was too advanced for an adult, let alone a child. Yuan Hanshuang couldn’t hold back.
“Why are you laughing?!”
Young Master Gu was taken aback, but when he saw the smile on her face, he immediately became angry, “How dare you fool me! You clearly don’t have hearing problems!”
“I do, I do! Don’t make things up.” Yuan Hanshuang quickly denied three times.
However, no matter how she explained, Young Master Gu wouldn’t listen: “Just wait and see!”
The young master glared at her with resentment and went back to his own group with his followers when the class bell rang.
The students from Class 2 looked at Yuan Hanshuang with admiration.
One girl kindly explained to her.
The tradition of having a leader in each class was passed down from the seven major advanced academies, where there would be internal competitions within each department to select the department heads. The department heads would then come together to select the academy president. The academy president represented the face of the advanced academy and was in charge of various affairs, with power almost equivalent to that of the principal.
This system had been passed down for thousands of years in the interstellar realm and was very beneficial for cultivating competition among the students. All the academies liked it.
After it was introduced by the top 7, many academies followed suit.
The Junior Academy evidently agreed to this tradition and started from a young age.
“Young Master Gu should be the leader of our class this year.”
The girl looked concerned, “Yuan, why don’t you apologize to him?”
Yuan Hanshuang put her hands in her pockets, “What’s the benefit of being a leader? Can I get an extra chicken leg with my meals?”
The girl replied, “Of course not.”
“Oh, forget it then.” Yuan Hanshuang immediately lost interest.
Although they had added one more student, the class continued as usual.
The psychic teacher stood in the middle of the playground and announced, “In the previous few classes, we have already practiced the basic application of psychic power, which is manifestation combat. In this class, we will experience practical training. Summon your manifestation and give them combat commands.”
The teacher divided the students into pairs for sparring.
Naturally, the three C-level talents were assigned to the sparring groups.
Yuan Hanshuang successfully teamed up with another C-level student named Ke Junda, facing Young Master Gu and another D-level student.
“The rest of you have just started school for a week, so we haven’t progressed much in the curriculum.”
Considering that she had just started school, the teacher specifically gave her a ten-minute briefing: “Manifestation combat isn’t difficult. You just need to summon your pseudomorph and give it combat commands. Don’t worry, this form of combat is very simple and almost risk-free.”
“Okay, thank you, teacher.”
Yuan Hanshuang followed the warm-up instructions in place and looked up to see Young Master Gu provoking her.
She pretended not to see him.
“Pay attention, treat your opponents as hostile Gifted individuals. This is a practical exercise!”
Manifestation combat was the simplest among the two methods of attack for Gifted individuals. This form of attack didn’t even require formal instruction; it was an innate ability for Gifted individuals.
With adults present, the teacher wasn’t worried about accidents occurring. “Although you still only have a partial understanding of your Manifestation, it’s necessary to experience the atmosphere of real combat.”
She glanced at her wristwatch. “Since it’s a sparring session, let’s add some excitement. The winning side will get out of class early today and rush to the cafeteria to grab food.”
The students became instantly excited.
Everyone knew that the cafeteria had freshly cooked sauced chicken legs today, limited to ten pieces on a first-come, first-served basis.
“You just started school. Can you engage in Manifestation combat?” Ke Junda looked nervous.
After starting school, he was approached by Young Master Gu for the same reason and ended up losing to him. Now, facing the young master, he still felt uneasy.
“I’m not very good at it, but don’t worry.” Yuan Hanshuang’s eyes lit up, and she quickly started moving her wrist in place.
The thought of getting to eat early after being hungry for three days made her feel energized.
Especially when Yuan Hanshuang thought about how long it had been since she ate anything other than nutritional fluids since she crossed over, she suddenly felt an influx of boundless energy in her body!
“Um… let’s discuss our battle plan.”
Ke Junda’s expression clearly showed his lack of trust, “What’s your Manifestation?”
“A koi fish.”
Visibly disappointed upon hearing the answer, Ke Junda felt even more disheartened.
Within the community of Gifted individuals, there was an evident hierarchy of psychic Manifestations.
Illusory creatures like dragons and angels, which belonged to the powerful Manifestations, were known as mythical pseudomorphs and ranked at the top of the hierarchy. Those who awakened such Manifestations were considered prestigious S-level Gifted individuals, looking down on everyone else. Next were rare monsters, large predators, elemental beings, and mechanical lifeforms, which were considered specialist choices and occupied the A to B-level positions. The rankings beyond that were subject to endless debate and arguments that had lasted for many years.
At the bottom of the hierarchy, forever destined to be there, were the ordinary, commonplace Manifestations.
For example, the commonly seen red-and-white ornamental Koi fish, or Ke Junda’s African Grey Parrot. Most of these Manifestations lingered around the D-level and were considered the bottom of the barrel.
With such an ordinary combination, facing Young Master’s blazing and colorful tiger, they had virtually no chance of winning.
You should know that the magnificent and colorful tiger, Fiery Striped Tiger, is a powerful entity that firmly holds a position within the top 100 in the Interstellar Manifestation Rankings.
“As for the battle plan…”
Before Ke Junda could finish speaking, Yuan Hanshuang interrupted him, saying, “Leave it to me, you stay where you are.”
When the teacher’s whistle blew, signaling the start, she swiftly dashed forward, her figure as agile as a leopard, crossing the center line of the training ground in the blink of an eye.
Young Master Gu remained in place, having just summoned his own Fiery Striped Tiger, when he heard his teammate’s terrified cry. He looked up and saw a brilliant golden streak right before his eyes.
Young Master Gu: !!!
The next second, his arm was seized, and before he could react, a tremendous force was applied to his arm and waist, forcefully levering him from the point of capture.
The young girl seemed to transform into a small projectile, her movements swift and fluid. Her slender waist arched into an elegant and graceful arc, as delicate as if it could snap at a touch, and golden strands of hair fluttered down.
Through the gap in his arm, Young Master Gu saw that slender and adorable face, smiling at him.
—Surprisingly, it was a perfectly executed shoulder throw, both graceful and aesthetically pleasing.
Onlookers were left dumbfounded.
Although the teacher hadn’t explicitly stated it, no one had expected that a classmate would disregard martial ethics to this extent and actually employ physical techniques in a Manifestation combat class!
Even more astounding was the fact that she had won in a single move!

Thank you all very much for your support. I will continue to work hard!
