Chapter 72: Exclusive to Jinjiang 1/3
Song Fuzhi planned to rent out his old house, which was a significant decision. He needed to inform his parents.
During the evening phone call with his parents, Song Fuzhi told them about it, and his parents said it was fine. They trusted Song Fuzhi to handle his own assets.
Song Dad made a sound: “Does Shi Zhang also have another property? Are you planning to rent it out too?”
In front of Song Fuzhi was a design blueprint. It outlined their plan to transform the living room into a photography studio.
“Well…” Song Fuzhi coughed. “We don’t plan to rent it out. We intend to occasionally stay there. Change of place, change of mood.”
Mrs. Wang laughed, calling them “extravagant,” saying, “Being a sly rabbit and having three burrows? Want to live in several places?”
Song Fuzhi agreed.
“Is the address near Binjiang Road?” Song Dad asked. “Since you want to live there, do you want us to come over and help with cleaning, have a New Year cleaning to welcome the new and get rid of the old, sweep away the dust for the new year?”
Song Fuzhi busily said, “It’s okay, we’ll handle it ourselves.”
This house was going to be used as a cosplay photography studio, filled with all these things. Could he let the old couple come and clean it?
In the past, Song Fuzhi never talked to his parents about his hobbies. Firstly, he didn’t know how to bring it up; secondly, he was afraid they wouldn’t accept it; and thirdly, because he wasn’t used to sharing his hobbies with others, he couldn’t be bothered.
Song Fuzhi originally thought he would be a quiet, second-dimensional observer for his whole life. However, after meeting Shi Zhang in just over half a year, his long-dormant passion exploded.
Now he had his own online account, with many people following him. They even planned to transform an entire house into their own paradise.
Actually, Song Fuzhi was thinking that he should find an opportunity to tell his parents.
Actually, your son doesn’t look as conventional as he did when he was a child. His life isn’t just about school and students.
Whether it was Little Song Fuzhi or the adult version, they both had deep interests.
Parents are the closest people, but they have never truly understood the other side of Song Fuzhi.
The chance to be open was hard to find.
The older you get, the less communication there is with your parents. Usually busy with work, parents also didn’t want to disturb. Besides gathering for festivals and birthdays, the two generations lived their own lives.
Moreover, Little Song Fuzhi didn’t communicate much with his parents, even less so as an adult.
Both he and Shi Zhang were now in their thirties, and there was no worry about parents discovering niche interests; it was just that there was no chance to speak up. In the world of adults, what a big deal was this?
This was probably the most fulfilling winter break for Song Fuzhi.
Previously, both teachers had their own things to do at home, preparing for their respective subjects. Apart from discussing teaching methods, they didn’t have much common business to talk about.
But now, the two of them had a common business, and there were endless things to talk about every day.
The renovation plan on paper was almost done, and the cosplay costumes for the wedding photos had arrived.
They chose a sunny weekend and went to Shi Zhang’s original home together.
They planned to finalize the renovation plan and try out the makeup and clothes, and since they were cosers, the first thing they did when they received new clothes was to try them on eagerly.
Upon entering the house, both instinctively looked towards the window, but unfortunately, it was empty, with only a bare flowerpot.
“Ah, I feel like there were several fluffy little chicks crowded here yesterday. In the blink of an eye, they grew up and left home. The old father is quite lonely.” Song Fuzhi sighed softly.
Shi Zhang wiped a layer of light gray from the windowsill. “Maybe they’ll come back.”
The two stood at the windowsill, reminiscing about the little falcons for a long time before getting down to business.
“The living room needs to be cleared out first,” Shi Zhang gestured. “Sofas and coffee tables need to be moved away. Leave two chairs, put the background cloth here, and put two light stands here.”
“Are we starting today?” Song Fuzhi asked.
“Not really.” Shi Zhang smiled. “Aren’t you going to move things in? The other rooms also need to be tidied up; clear out a space for you, then we’ll find a few movers to help us.”
“Other rooms?” Song Fuzhi raised his eyebrows slightly.
“Ah,” Shi Zhang said. “Like the dressing room, there’s still space inside. We can add a cabinet for your figurines.”
Since he brought it up proactively, there was no reason not to go in and take a look.
Song Fuzhi knocked on the slightly ajar door and smiled. “Does Octopus Teacher call this a dressing room?”
Shi Zhang pushed the door open. “What should it be called then?”
Song Fuzhi replied with a smile, “Arsenal.”
Shi Zhang chuckled briefly, completely pushing the door open, revealing the spectacular and varied clothes inside. “Welcome, Teacher Song, to visit the arsenal.”
Song Fuzhi took three steps inside and stopped.
Turning back, he said, “I only walked here last time and didn’t go in.”
“Well, you can browse freely today,” Shi Zhang said.
This room by Teacher Octopus was really spectacular. Song Fuzhi felt that anyone who liked cosplay and entered this room would be unable to walk.
As Song Fuzhi was browsing through Shi Zhang’s clothes, he asked him how he had portrayed the character at that time. Shi Zhang, like a tour guide, told many stories about playing COS in the past.
Some were really inconspicuous, and even Shi Zhang himself had forgotten the specific process of portraying the character.
“If you like anything, you can try it on,” Shi Zhang said.
“Try other things next time; today, we have official business.” Song Fuzhi pointed to the living room.
For the first time, Song Fuzhi cosplayed with Shi Zhang, with only the two of them and no third person present. It felt very good.
Very free and unconstrained.
The two did what they said. They took out the new clothes from the bag and spread them on the sofa.
There didn’t seem to be many clothes, but the fabrics were exquisite, and they were layered and difficult to put on. He couldn’t put them on by himself; he needed someone else’s help.
“How do you put this on?” Song Fuzhi picked up his pile of tassels, accessories, and the white robe with wide sleeves, feeling a bit helpless.
“I’ll help you,” Shi Zhang said. “Take off your clothes first.”
The house had heating on, and it wasn’t cold at all, but Song Fuzhi subconsciously tightened the cuffs, not moving for a while.
“Why aren’t you taking it off?” Shi Zhang looked at him with a smile.
Even when Professor Shi was at home, he dressed very appropriately, with long sleeves and trousers, meticulous in his attire.
Even though the two of them had met candidly many times, Song Fuzhi still found it somewhat difficult to undress in front of the well-groomed professor. Even if there was no physical contact, Song Fuzhi would still feel embarrassed.
However, Shi Zhang had already approached, gently grabbing the hem of Song Fuzhi’s clothes and slowly pulling upward.
Song Fuzhi stiffened for a moment, then obediently raised his hands, allowing Shi Zhang to help him remove the clothes.
His fair and smooth body was exposed to the air and bathed in sunlight, resembling the texture of sheep fat jade.
Shi Zhang draped the white robe over Song Fuzhi.
The neckline was quite low, and Shi Zhang’s fingers glided over his sunken collarbone, down along the sternum, and stopped at the abdominal muscles.
“It will be exposed until here,” Shi Zhang said hoarsely.
Song Fuzhi slightly turned his head, his voice not very clear. “Did you not know when you chose the character?”
In fact, this character didn’t quite match Song Fuzhi’s physique.
The character had light hair and a white robe, representing a noble heavenly god with a blooming lotus behind, elegant and beautiful, slender and graceful.
Song Fuzhi had muscles and distinct arm lines that were not slender enough. Initially, he felt that he couldn’t cosplay this character.
However, when he and Shi Zhang stood naked in front of the mirror that day and compared, if Shi Zhang stood beside him, Song Fuzhi would look much slenderer.
In addition, Professor Song was born with delicate features and fair skin and was inherently handsome. With makeup, the effect should be quite good.
Shi Zhang thus advised, “I think this is okay, very suitable for Professor Song.”
