Chapter 113: The New Creation
“Stop always mentioning Ninomiya-senpai, call my name too, brother…” After stepping out of her room, Michako softly closed the door behind her, leaning against it with a vacant look in her eyes. Though she had anticipated this outcome, facing it head-on brought an overwhelming urge to cry.
“Why did things turn out this way? Before that woman even appeared, am I already… out of the race?” Michako thought, frustrated with the unfolding events. “Why am I thinking about her now? Even if brother does meet her, it’s not certain they’ll end up together, right? After all, the present is vastly different from what was once the future.”
Michako felt heavy-hearted, realizing too many unforeseen events had occurred, leaving her, a person from the future, utterly bewildered.
First, the unexpected re-emergence of ‘Little Bean,’ then the overly charismatic Ninomiya-senpai, and most unexpectedly, her brother, who was solely focused on studying and getting into the University of Tokyo, now seemed to be showing signs of dating Ninomiya-senpai.
“Heaving a sigh,” Michako tried to clear her thoughts, heading downstairs. “For now, I’ll just take care of brother. My confession plan… will have to be put on hold.”
“Hey — brother! Don’t fall asleep yet~” Michako hurried to her brother, who was lying on her bed looking peacefully asleep. Gently tugging at his sleeve, she pleaded, “You promised to hold on a bit longer, right? Just take your medicine, and then you can sleep.”
“I’m just resting my eyes, not sleeping,” Yagi Miyuki mumbled, his eyes still closed.
“Then sit up quickly,” Michako said, sitting by the bed and helping him sit up. “Come on, open your eyes, brother. You can’t take your medicine if you don’t.”
“Mmm… okay,” Miyuki struggled to lift his eyelids, apologizing to Michako. “Sorry, Michako. You’re not feeling well, and instead of taking care of you, I’m making you take care of me… I’m failing in my duty.”
“No need to apologize,” Michako replied with a sweet smile. “Taking care of my sick brother makes me happy. So please, get better soon.”
Miyuki, although finding his sister’s words a bit odd, was too tired to think much about it. He accepted the medicine she handed him and swallowed it with difficulty.
“Drink some more water,” Michako gently advised.

Michako carefully made sure her brother finished all the water in the cup before she withdrew her hand contentedly.
“Now, you should get some sleep. You’ll feel better when you wake up,” Michako said as she helped her brother lie down and covered him with a blanket. “Rest well.”
Yagi Miyuki nodded, his eyes half-closed. “I’ll just borrow your bed for a while then. And remember… don’t get too close to me, you might catch it too.”
“I know, I’ll be careful. Just sleep peacefully, brother,” Michako reassured him.
Watching her brother quickly fall into a deep sleep, Michako cautiously approached, extending a slender finger towards his cheek. But just before touching, she hesitated and retracted her hand.
“Better not disturb brother…” Michako whispered to herself. Carefully lying down beside him, she softly said, “I had trouble sleeping last night and only fell asleep in the middle of the night. I’ll just catch up on some sleep now.”
However, due to her menstrual pain, Michako soon sat up again, wincing. “It hurts…”
Biting her lip, she managed to get up and walk over to her desk. She found a warming patch in the drawer, which she applied to her abdomen, easing the pain slightly.
“Alright…” Glancing at her sleeping brother, she spoke to herself, “It’s just past 2 PM. I’ll work on my manga for a while, and later I’ll prepare dinner for brother.”
Settling at her computer desk, Michako didn’t immediately start drawing. Instead, she reviewed her previous sketches.
Since her rebirth half a month ago, everything had been going smoothly, except for her unexpected setbacks in winning over her brother.
For instance, her secondary plan of copying manga had been going well. She had already submitted her previous work, “Peculiarly Cute,” to Kadokawa Shoten, one of the big three publishers, for a newcomers’ contest.
The work, which had been a big hit in the future, had quickly garnered attention. Just yesterday, she received a call from a Kadokawa editor saying her work was shortlisted and, barring any surprises, it would likely make it to the final winners list to be announced in half a month. She was asked to prepare for signing a contract.
This success was within her expectations.
This meant a significant step forward in her plan to support her brother financially. But it was not enough, so she had been working hard on a new manga.
“I’ve created something quite scandalous this time…” she mused, looking at her latest work.

Michako blushed slightly as she flipped through the digital version of her manga, seemingly overwhelmed by the provocative content.
This time, she had ventured into a more risqué genre than “Peculiarly Cute,” creating a work that was even more explicit – essentially, an adult manga.
Michako wasn’t particularly interested in adult manga, having only read a few due to their sibling-themed plots.
Thus, the indecent scenes scrolling on the screen in a PowerPoint presentation were from her favorite work, “Siblings’ Sleep * Story,” a manga that was explicit from any angle. The plot revolves around siblings Shou and Yui, who have lived a peaceful life together. One day, when Shou learns that Yui might have a boyfriend, he succumbs to complex emotions and, while Yui is asleep, crosses a forbidden line…
However, Yui also harbors feelings for her brother. The confession from another boy was just a ploy to gauge her brother’s reaction. Thus, she passively allows her brother’s nightly advances. Emboldened by this, Shou escalates his actions each night with his junior high school sister…
Despite having gone through the manga multiple times, Michako still found herself flustered by the taboo thrill. Her intention behind creating this manga was not only to earn money to support her brother but also to use it as a stimulus to convey her feelings to him.
Therefore, she decided to print the manga later in her father’s study and show it to her brother.
